THE MAKING OF PANDORA’S BOX

I want to recap what we have discussed so far so that I can have an overall picture of the situation.

Good idea! That will also show how tenacious scientists held on to their conceptions or misconception.

❶ MAXWELL’S SUGGESTIONS

The entire history of Relativity theory started with James Clerk Maxwell in 1878. He believed in the effect of aether wind as a medium of light. He also suggested that the earth is fast enough to produce such evidences.

❷ THE RIVER ANALOGY

In 1881, Albert Michelson took up the challenge to measure the differences and supplemented Maxwell’s concept with his river analogy of aether flow.

Unfortunately, no result was found.

❸ MICHELSON- MORLEY EXPERIMENT

In 1887 Michelson made a final effort with Edward Morley to conduct the experiment in a more precise and improved setup. But still no results were found.

In 1892 Anthony Lorentz found the equation with which he wish could salvage the MMX, never questioning that Michelson’s equations were based on misconceptions.

The birth of gamma

It sound unusual to me that the scientists of the time never questioned about the validity of Michelson’s equations. Their minds only focused on why the experiment failed and tried everything else to salvage it.

So we should have a picture appropriately called the birth of gamma . . .

The story is not over yet. In fact, this is only the beginning of a new fantasy game.

Theory of Special Relativity

Albert Einstein (1879-1955) came onto front stage and took charge with the debut of his research papers in 1905, almost twenty years after the Michelson-Morley experiments. The most remarkable one of his papers was the one known today as the Theory of Special Relativity.

Albert Einstein got hold of the Lorentz factor, added a few of his own concepts and succeeded in weaving the whole into the great Special Theory of Relativity.

Revived MMX in Relativity

Although in the new theory, popular belief was that Einstein had done away with the aether model all together. This was not true because it was still basically linked to the aether postulate through the Lorentz equation –and the equation was derived from the aether postulate of MMX.

The so called ‘relativity theory’ is actually the theory of Maxwell and Michelson with the interpretation of Lorentz and the additions of Einstein.

This is said not to claim credits for Maxwell or Michelson. It is to clarify the origin of the relativity theory and to point out the fallacy of its base.

Then we have a nice and complete picture of the birth of “Relativity”.

THE BIRTH OF RELATIVITY

So we ended up with two gods fabricating the wind and a third one trying to protects it.

This combination resulted in a theory so powerful and potent that it was able to lead the whole world for over a hundred years.

Then Einstein came in with a few more items and weaved the whole into an almost complete picture.

It is now so complex and complicated that nobody on earth will be able to extricate from it.

© ABCC Australia 2015 new-physics.com

Through the years and with the contributions by so many great minds, the theory of relativity had grown to a giant. It is not that easy to tackle any more.

Moreover, it is now a huge and solid ziggurat built up by so many renown physicists.

And Einstein had become the monarch of the Relativistic World!

“No other person in the 20th-centuryadvanced our understanding of the physical universe in such a dramaticway. He introduced many original concepts, each one of a profound nature. His discovery of the universal equivalence of energy and mass has had, and continues to have, far-reaching consequences not only in Science and Technology but also in fields as diverse as World Politics, Economics, and Philosophy.”

Frank W. K. Firk Professor Emeritus of PhysicsYale University

No wonder we have so many favourite appraisals of Einstein!

Einstein's work is also known for its influence on the philosophy of science. He developed the general theory of relativity, one of the two pillars of modern physics (alongside quantum mechanics). Einstein is best known in popular culture for his mass–energy equivalence formula E = mc2 (which has been dubbed "the world's most famous equation").He received the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics for his "services to theoretical physics", in particular his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect, a pivotal step in the evolution of quantum theory.Wikipedia.

That was exactly an outline of how the Pandora’s box came around!

© ABCC Australia 2015 new-physics.com

So how can we tackle them now?

No way at all?

Not that easy, like so many antagonistic scientists had done.

Not without the curing potions from Zyrkonia.

© ABCC Australia 2015 new-physics.com

There have been antagonistic comments and complaints galore. They can fill a small library. But they can’t do much, mainly because they had not got the correct answers or better alternatives to replace the ones they opposed.

In the school texts of Zyrkonia, we have the correct answers and better alternatives. So treating these distorted patients or aliens is not that difficult as they look.

Wow! Sounds very exciting. Looks like there will be an interesting battle between Relativity and Zyrkonia!!!

Can’t wait to watch it!
