DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS

PREAMBLE

To prevent dust entry from construction site to finished areas demarking with barricades has to be used

INTERNAL WIRING AND POWER POINTSLight Point (Primary point): Supplyand wiring for light point with 2 runsof1.5 sq.mm650V grade PVC

The description of an item shall be deemed to include all preambles, headings, sub-headings and references to other documents. The detailed description of work and materials, given in the Specification are not necessarily repeated in the Bill of Quantities.

The dimensions shown in the drawings shall have to be verified by the contractor at site before execution of the items and necessary allowance's) have to be made as per the actual dimensions available at site.

The contractor should refer to the detailed drawings for details. All the rates so quoted should be inclusive of all hardware. In case of discrepancy between drawing and Bill of Quantity the drawing supersedes, unless specifically mentioned in the BOQ.

Items of work provided in this schedule but not covered in the specifications shall be executed strictly as per instructions of the engineer-in-charge(PSI)

Unless specifically mentioned otherwise in the contract, the tenderer shall quote for the finished items and shall provide for the complete cost towards labour, materials, plant and machinery, operational costs, levies, taxes, transport, repairs, rectification, maintenance till handing over, revenue expenses, contingencies, overheads, profits and all incidental items not specifically mentioned but reasonably implied and necessary to complete the works according to the contract.

The quantities of the various items mentioned in the schedule in the schedule of items and may vary up to any extent or be deleted altogether. The quoted rates of each item shall remain firm for all works and quantities. The contractor, in his own interest, should get an indication of the probable extent of the work to be executed under any particular item in this schedule, before undertaking any preliminary and enabling work or purchasing bought out components related to the work.

Rates shall be quoted both in figures and in words in clear legible writing. No overwriting is allowed. All scoring and cancellations should be countersigned by the tenderer. In case of illegibility, the interpretation of the engineer shall be final. All entries shall be in English language.

Engineer-in-charge's (PSI) decision shall be final and binding on the contractor regarding clarifications of items in this schedule with respect to the other sections of the Contract.

It may be noted that the total work or any part / parts of the same may be awarded as mentioned in this schedule of items.

The cost quoted to include providing general house-keeping support for the entire site inclusive of all dedicated labour and supervisory personnel at all times of work, across the entire facility. Cost to include all equipments, consumables, protective and safety measures at site and providing necessary amenities like Water supply for drinking water, dedicated Human recourses for the same and other office facilities as instructed by Engineers (PSI)

All construction workers will be provided with proper PPE's without which the Engineer (PSI) has to right to send the worker away until proper PPE's are present

LT CABLE WORKSupply, Instalaltion, Testing & Commissioning of XLPE insulated sheathed steel tape armoured Aluminium UG cable with pvc outer sheathing 1.1 KV class .The cable shall be either laid on existing cable trays or in existing trench.The cable shall be tied with nylon ties on the cable tray and a overlapping 25x3mmGI strip shall be fixed to the cable tray. The cost of the nylon tie and overlappingGI strip shall be included in the cost of installation.(Not to include the cost of cable trays/trench).

Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of 3 phase 415V 4 wire Free Standing Floor mounted MV panel made out of 14 SWG CRCA sheet after seventank process and painting with Epoxy powder coating including all switchgear as detailed below. The panel shall consist of suitable rating TPN Aluminium busbar (at the rating of 0.8A per Sq.mm) supported withDMC/ SMC barriers and colour coded with Heat shrinkable sleeves. The Metering shall be

provided as specified. The panel shall have Short circuit with standing capacity of minimum 50KA and consist of the switchgear as mentioned below. The panel shall be mounted on channels grouted to the floor including all materials. The panel shall be got fabricated from manufacturers with CPRI Test certificate only. All feeders shall be earthed with 2 GI flats of adequate size to the main earth bus of 50x6mm GI flat. The size of all Panel Mounting Meters shall be 96X96mm.The Panels shall be mounted on U channels including supply and fixing of the same.All MCCBs shall have 80-100% thermal setting plug. fuses shall be provided for Control purposes (All Panels Shall be Extendable type). All the incomer breaker shall be provided with 2nos NO-NC contacts.(All MCBs shall be with 'C' curve)
