COMMUNITY SHOUT OUT

6109 Irvington Rd, Omaha, NE 68134(402) 981-6015 I stickmansigns.com

Stickman Graphics & Signs, Inc. was established in 2003. Owner, Joe Stickman created the business from a dream. Joe has been an artist all of his life. After excelling in his art classes in high school he decided to attend Universal Technical Institute of Commercial Art. Upon graduating he began working in the sign industry until he started his business.

CHARITABLE DONATIONSJoe has always seen his business as a way to use his talents to help the community. Stickman Graphics & Signs has sponsored charity events from the Bob Gibson classic for Project Harmony to Ahman Green’s various charity events among others. Joe’s most recent event was Splash 4 Cash, which helped raise money and awareness for The Nebraska Children’s Home Society. Joe included fellow business associates Community Concepts and Auto Inceptions to help with the event.

OPEN DOOR MISSIONStickman Graphics & Signs is now a donation drop off point for The Open Door Mission. The Open Door Mission has been a long time client. Joe had extra space in his shop and saw there was a need for a donation drop off point that would be closer to citizens located in the western part of Omaha. The response has been great. Stickman says he gets calls and comments from people saying they are grateful for the location of the drop off point and it makes things a lot easier to donate. Please visit Stickman Graphics & Signs and support local businesses that support the community.

From the Owner:At RR we believe that health and exercise should be simple, affordable, fun and educational.

Simple - No insanely difficult classes you have to suffer through. We help you find your limit and learn how to safely push it in a progressive manner. We believe that quality exercise comes first. The option for a tougher workout lies with you. You are always in control of how hard you work.

Affordable - Group training is the most affordable and effective way to establish or improve on your baseline fitness level. With low overhead, month to month rates are among the lowest in town.

Fun - We make exercise fun. Here you will build lasting relationships with people who all have similar goals in mind. Through this classes are more exciting as comradery is built. This is how we build a stronger healthier community as well.

Education - Any facility can wow you with lights, loud music, pricey fad equipment, and even instructors who dance around. Yes those things are fun but are they effective? Some facilities “instructors” have little to no exercise education which can lead to injuring a client. All of our employees are accredited through a national certified school, not just the business. Safety and knowledge is always important.

“Anyone can give a workout and send their clients on their way”. A truly great trainer will educate and empower their clients. We all know that knowledge is power and smart clients who know why they are doing what they are doing, control their own results.

We are conveniently located off of the interstate 80 and L st. This makes us accessible from most locations in omaha in about 10 minutes or less.

RR. Where passion and education collide to create quality service and product that is second to none.

Call to reserve your free one week trial. Or come in by appointment and see why we are the newest most progressive training facility in Omaha.

Fresh, Greek FastAppetizer

FIESTY FETA PITAA Spicy blend of feta cheese, tomato puree & serrano chili spice

• Bursting with flavor the feta cheese and serrano paired well together

• The spice may catch some off guard but if you can handle a 4 out of 10 on the hot scale, you’ll enjoy this dish (but everyone’s scale is different)

• The pitas it came will were warm, soft and fresh• Overall a great way to start the meal

GREEK SALADLettuce, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Peppers, Onions (Gyro Meat optional but recommend-

ed)

• A great alternative to the Gyro if you are looking for low carb alternative without the compromise of flavor.• Loaded with Veggies, the Gyro Meat and home made dressing finish off this salad perfectly• A side of pitas and cucumber sauce are also included. The cucumber sauce is to die for, the best we have tried.

New Movies At A Glance

Carrie (2013)Chloe Grace Moretz, Julianne Moore, Gabriella Wilde, Alex Russell A reimagining of the classic horror tale about Carrie White (Chloë Grace Moretz), a shy girl outcast by her peers and sheltered by her deeply religious mother (Julianne Moore), who unleashes telekinetic terror on her small town after being pushed too far at her senior prom. Based on the best-selling novel by Stephen King, Carrie is directed by Kimberly Peirce with a screenplay by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa.

Escape Plan (2013)Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jim Caviezel, Vincent D’Onofrio One of the world’s foremost authorities on structural security agrees to take on one last job: breaking out of an ultra-secret, high-tech facility called “The Tomb.” Deceived and wrongly im-prisoned, Ray Breslin (Sylvester Stallone) must recruit fellow inmate Emil Rottmayer (Arnold Schwarzenegger) to help devise a daring, nearly impossible plan to escape from the most protected and fortified prison ever built.

Gravity (2013)Sandra Bullock, George Clooney, Ed Harris, Orto Ignatiussen GRAVITY, stars Oscar (R) winners Sandra Bullock and George Cloo-ney in a heart-pounding thriller that pulls you into the infinite and unforgiving realm of deep space.
