2017 NAR Committee Appointment Process
• Members must apply to serve on a committee; recommendations cannot be submitted for someone else.
• Members may submit applications for up to 5 committees.• Members can obtain up to 5 endorsements from other
leaders.• A member must have an expertise profile in GMS prior
to submitting an application to serve on a committee.

March 1, 2016: Appointment process opensMay 23, 2016: Application website closesJune 6, 2016: State Associations review & ranking period closesOctober 14, 2016: Committee appointment letters are emailed to members

• Some committees, particularly high profile committees, may be excluded from the state review period for preliminary appointments.
• Appointment letters for REALTOR® Party committees will be sent a couple of weeks before the letters for all other appointments.
