LEARNING COMMONS NEWS In the library this week we are continuing with our second novels
of the year. The grades 1-3 have been enjoying the antics of Pippi
Longstocking and the grades 4-6 have been following the adven-
tures of Peak. The grades 1-3 were excited to take home their
Blind Dates. I hope you are all enjoying them as a family! Circula-
tion has increased with the added incentive of Book Worms and
the overdue list has gotten somewhat shorter. Please help your
child remember to return their library books on Wednesdays.
Young Engineers Club is a new activity that will take place on
Thursdays during noon recesses in the Makerspace. All students
are welcome to join in and attempt the challenges of design , crea-
tion, trial and improvement. Each week we will have a new chal-
lenge for students to tackle.
JUMP ROPE FOR HEART
Clandonald School is participating in Jump
Rope for Heart again this year. Pledge en-
velopes were sent home with students last
week following the kick-off. They need to
be returned by March 28, the day of our
school jump event. Thank you for helping
our students become caring and active
citizens.
