From Pastor Bob
At the end of this month (March), we celebrate Holy Week: Holy Thursday (24th), Good Friday (25th), Easter Vigil (26th), and Easter Sunday (27th). Holy Thursday (24th @ 7:00 pm) At the heart of the Maundy Thursday service is Jesus’ command to love one another with the reconciling power his death has given us. Good Friday (25th @ 7:00 pm) Central to this day is the Passion according to John, which proclaims Jesus as the triumphant king who reigns from the cross. Our worship area will host displays of Jesus’ “Way of the Cross.” Easter Vigil (26th @ 7:00 pm) This night is the “heart” of Holy Week. The resurrection of Christ is proclaimed as we celebrate the eternal life we have received through baptism. Easter Sunday (27th @ 7:30, 9:00, & 10:30 am) We celebrate that the resurrection of our Lord Jesus has brought about a new age of eternal life, which we are compelled to share! Please make every effort to celebrate Holy Week and Easter. It promises to strengthen your faith! A blessed Holy Week and Easter to you,

Irene Sisson Judie Peters Our Quilting Leaders
The Quilting Group meets on the second and third Thursday of each month at 9:00 am, in the Fellowship Hall. If you have any questions, please contact Irene Sisson at 407-846-4071. You do not need to be an expert quilter or sewer to join our group. We tie all our quilt tops with yarn. We are in need of people to help put them together. Machine sewers are desperately needed to sew the squares together (for the tops of the quilts). Both ladies and gents are welcome!
We have Sunday School each Sunday at 9:30 am in the Art Room (Rm 101) for 4th grade to High School. JOIN US!
Trinity Cookzzz will gather again on Friday, March 18th. (see your weekly
announcement sheets for more details)

Read, Read, Read!
L i te racy and in
particular, reading is an
area we are focusing
on throughout this
school year and across
all grade levels from PreK-3 to 8th
grade. February was a busy month
with all students demonstrating their
reading skills in many ways. We held
our second annual Literacy Night
during which the students performed
Reader’s Theaters, read their own
stories and poems, exchanged books
and enjoyed pizza dinner. There was
also a lot of information available for
parents to learn how they can help their
child read. The same week we held
our Spring Book Fair where parents,
grandparents, aunts, uncles and
students purchased new books. On
March 2nd we will celebrate Read
Across America Day by everyone
joining together in the courtyard and
garden to read. This event will lead
into Lutheran Schools Week where the
students will be involved in many fun
activities, celebrating being a proud
member of a Lutheran School. Please
feel free to stop by and enjoy school life as much
as students do.

On Good Friday, March 25th, between 5 pm and 7 pm, you are invited to come to church to walk “The Way of the Cross.” You will be able to walk the way that Jesus did on his last day. Some of you may have visited the Holy Land and have participated in the way that Jesus walked. But not all of us can get to Jerusalem so we are offering you a chance to walk “The Way of the Cross” here at Trinity. You will be deeply moved by this devotional experience.
Have you been attending Trinity church but are not yet members? We’ll be accepting new members on Saturday, March, 26th at our 7 pm, Easter Vigil service. Contact Vicki, in the church office, if you are interested (407-847-4204).
Many of our school families are struggling and need help feeding their loved ones. Trinity Lutheran School has a food pantry that helps provide food to those in need. We are asking you to help us fill the pantry so we always have food available. We are expanding the items to go into the pantry to include everyday health & hygiene products. For the month of March, the donated items we are requesting are Health & Hygiene Products. We are looking for health & hygiene products such as shampoo, soap, tooth brushes (individually packaged), tooth paste, razors, shave cream, band-aids, first aid items, Tylenol, hair brushes, combs, baby wipes, tissues, the list goes on. When you are doing your own shopping, please consider picking up a few health & hygiene items (keep an eye out for those BOGO’s!) to help us keep the pantry full. Please place your health & hygiene products in the boxes at the back of the church. Thank you in advance for your support!
Thank you for all of your support to this
important ministry.

card that you would have paid if you
purchased it from a specific store or
restaurant.
The benefit for Trinity is that a

goes to support Trinity School and
scholarships.
Scrip forms are available in the
narthex. Contact Vicki in the church
