i there! My name is Chris 

Hauk, as you can tell by the gigantic title above.  I’m writing you because I am about to finish my two year marketing diploma at the wonderful school of British Columbia Institute of Technology.  I think that I would be a great asset to your company, and that if you hire me you will 

not be disappointed!  So like I said my name is Chris Hauk and I am originally from the beautiful town of Nelson British Columbia which has a population of 10,000 people and is sandwiched between beautiful mountains and along side the tranquil Kootenay Lake.  I graduated 

in the year of 2005 from LVRogers High 

school and decided to see the world before I began my studies at BCIT.  Before I 

could follow my dreams in seeing this amazing world we live, there was one small problem… 

 needed to make the necessary cash 

in order to buy my ticket.  I decided to bite the bullet,

and slave away up north on the oil rigs.  (The only way to make large sums of money, FAST) 

o, I applied like I am applying to 

you and within a week got told to come on up and join the infamous “rig pigs.” Long story short, I made the necessary money in order to conquer my dream and took off to the see the beautiful beaches of S.E Asia.  As the go‐getter I am, I saw a total of 5 

countries, which included…                          

• Laos • Vietnam • Malaysia • Thailand • & Indonesia. 

 would have to say that 

my favourite place would have to be Indonesia due to the scarcity of tourists and their beautiful beaches! After my amazing journey in Asia I gained insight, life experience, and believe I figured out what I wanted 

to do for a career, and joined the forces at BCIT! Now that I have almost graduated and conquered the BCIT feat, I am ready to put my acquired skills into action for your company!
