OVERVIEW
More Latino children are living in poverty (6.1 million ion 2010) than any children of any other racial or ethnic group.
37.3% were Latino, 30.5% were white, and 26.6% were black according to US Census Bureau by Pew Hispanic Center.
A product of growing number in populations, birth rate, and declining family income.
POVERTY RATE AMONG CHILDREN
Even through there are more Latino children in poverty, black lead in poverty rate in the nation with 39.1% following by the whites 35%.
Since 2007, poverty rates among Latino children have increased the most with 6.4% percentage point
However majority of Latino children who are homeless was due to parents only have a high school diploma.
In the US, the nation largest racial and ethnic groups was Hispanics in 2010 with 26.6% .
