Considerable improvements in science achievement have been made over the past decade, yet present conditions and majority of teaching practices limit achievement gains for females and minority groups

Science is a dynamic human enterprise, not a static construct

Essential elements must be include in lessons for effective teaching and learning.

As defined, science consists of three interrelated components - Attitudes, Processes and Knowledge
