Ohio attorney general takes over investigation of Fremont woman’s slayingFREMONT — The Ohio At-

torney General’s Office hastaken over a homicide case inwhich a Fremont woman’sbody was found in a car trunk.

Heather Bogle, 28, wasfound April 10, 2015, in thetrunk of her car in Clyde, Ohio.She had gone missing afterleaving work the day before.

An autopsy determined Ms.Bogle died of two gunshotwounds and blunt-forcetrauma throughout her body.No charges have been filed.

Dan Tierney, spokesman forthe attorney general’s office,said the Sandusky CountySheriff’s Office, which washandling the investigation,

asked the attorney general’soffice to take over the case. Itaccepted the case after deter-mining that additional investi-gation was necessary, he said.

MONROE — Threepeople have been ar-rested in Monroe andaccused of illegal gam-bling after police inter-rupted their dice game,authorities said.

The suspects werebooked into the MonroeCounty jail, with chargespending. Their nameswere being withheldpending arraignment.

Monroe police saidthey broke up “an illegalgambling dice game” inthe 400 block of AlmyraStreet about 5:20 p.m.Thursday and arrestedthe suspects, one ofwhom tried to hide un-der the porch.

Police then conducteda search of the area andrecovered crack cocaineand a stolen handgun,which was loaded.Another handgun, sus-pected heroin, and itemsused for preparing andpackaging illegal narcot-ics were recovered froma nearby residence.

Two Pokemon Go playersarrested for sneaking into theToledo Zoo to play the gamepleaded not guilty in ToledoMunicipal Court to criminaltrespassing charges.

Adrian Crawford, 26, andRobin Bartholomy, 25, both ofToledo, were approached byToledo police and zoo securityabout 2:30 a.m. Thursday afterbeing seen on camera sittingon a bench near the tiger ex-hibit. Police said the pairhopped the fence on Broad-way and were inside the zoofor about an hour before theywere caught.

They were charged with

fourth-degree criminal tres-passing, which carries a maxi-mum penalty of 30 days in jailand fines up to $250.

At their arraignment Friday,Judge Michelle Wagner or-dered the two to stay awayfrom the zoo. If Mr. Crawfordor Ms. Bartholomy are seen atthe zoo, they could go to jailand face additional criminalcharges, the judge said.

Ms. Bartholomy said shehoped the case could be re-solved through communityservice or by paying a fine.

“I don’t think they’re goingto throw us in the slammer,”she said.
