secutex® SPL-Soft-wedge

The SPL Soft-wedge is used when bricks often fall offthe lifter. The wedge shape prevents the bricks fromfalling. SPL-Soft wedge is especially suitable whenthe lifters are already quite old and worn.The SPLSoft-wedge must be adapted to suit your lifter. Ourflexible production enables us to manufacture toyour requirements. The fastening with screwsthrough the perforated steel sheet is easy.

secutex® SP-F-Soft-P1 with thinPowerflex coatingSP Soft with thin Powerflex coating is suitable forfragile bricks, tiles or ceramic parts. The thin, wearresistant PU coating does not alter the excellentflexibility of the secufoam. The fastening is madewith an adhesive. On request it is also possible tohave the perforated steel sheet at the bottom, sothat the buffer pad can be fastened with screws.

Smooth Grip for Tiles

In its standard version, SPL-Flat is used in manydifferent applications. On the turning lifters forexample, it is mounted onto the pressing plates.Finder lifters, other lifters and pulling devices areequipped with SPL-Flat. The compact secutexmaterial is elastic like rubber and has lowcompression. It can be easily fastened with screwsthrough the perforated steel sheet.

The Right Strip for Conveyor Belts

The problem: Conveyor belts are used extensively in industry and inparticular the mining industry to rationalize the transport of variousgoods. Especially when bulk material is being transportedcontinuously, it is necessary to clean the conveyor belts continuallyfrom the sticking residue and dirt.

The solution: The secutex wear pad is a new wear pad for rubberconveyor belts and laminated belts. Due to the very good elasticity,the conveyor belts are cleaned properly and it is no longerneccessary to re-adjust the pads. The good rigidity of the structuremakes it durable.

secutex® Buffer pad as wear pad

The secutex wear pad is a modern composite plasticmaterial. It is a combination of:

● secutex polyurethane ( Shore hardness A 75 -80 ) with extreme wear resistance

● with a glass fibre reinforcement for secure fastening by using asteel plate and screws

The glass fibre layer has two functions:– Reinforcement for the elastic secutex which also restricts

elongation. An important advantage of the glass fibre webbingas a reinforcement is that the conveyor belts are not damagedby the glass fibre.

– Due to the glass fibre webbing, all the holes made for fasteningare far more resistant against tearing. Its good flexibilityenables the secutex wear pad to adapt itselt to the belts and toscratch off dirt even in difficult areas. The conveyor beltobviously remains cleaner, which is important for the life andthe wear characteristics of the complete conveyor installation.

With regard to costs, it is important to note that the secutex wearpad can be cut from longer lengths kept on stock - thus cheaper -and that both sides of the pad can be used.

Make Short Work of Rough Surfaces

Secutex buffer pad-hollow spaceThe SPL-hollow space is used for bricks with anespecially rough surface (for example coal burnt).The deformation of the hollow space ensures a safegrip of the bricks. The wedge shape prevents thebrick from slipping.

The SPL-hollow space has slots every 20 mm. Theindividual, fingers seize the fragile brick and level outirregularities.
