The Secretaría de Integración Social y Urbana falls under the Cabinet Officeof the Government of the City of Buenos Aires. It was created in 2015 to workspecifically in Barrio 31.

With an in-depth knowledge of the territory, the Department coordinates publicpolicies to ensure their proper implementation so that Barrio 31 becomesanother neighborhood within the City.

We want Barrio 31 to be one more neighborhood in the City of Buenos Aires, and its inhabitants have the same rights and responsibilities as the rest of the citizens.

We are convinced thatthe only course is the integration.

The work to improve the Fair's premises has already begun, providing stan-dardized stands that are similar to the rest of the City fairs, while also formalizing its activities. The work involves new infrastructure, the placement of new street lightning and the improvement of the nearby public spaces in order to provide a better experience to the visitors and rise sales amounts.

The Shops Improvement Plan proposes both to improve the building structures of business and their formalization and the development of economic activities through courses and training. Structural and security issues will be adapted, and facades will be renovated to foster trade identity.
