Why is Bintan Industrial Estate Chosen?

• Excellent location (close proximity to Singapore, Free Trade Zone, sheltered harbour, deep waters, international port license)

• Strong demand for a common-user deepwater facility of international standards in the region

Objective• To establish a strategic Joint Venture

between Singatac and reputable partner to build, own and operate the 24-hectare Bintan Offshore Marine Centre (BOMC)

• The land owner, Gallant Venture, an alliance partner, shall play an active role in supporting the operation to ensure the security and reliability, and offer its 4,000-hectare land bank to the users

• Active support of Singapore government agencies such as Economic Development Board (EDB), International Enterprise Singapore (IE Singapore), Spring Singapore, Jurong Town Corporation (JTC), etc.

• To development the supply chain

• Active management of the business environment

• Focus on high value products and services

Technical Details• Heavy duty wharves with 20 T/m2

general loading and 40 T/m2 to 60 T/m2 heavy loading at specific locations

• Linear wharf of up to 700 metres length with water depth of 10 metres at zero tide

• Large open staging ground of general load bearing 10 T/m2

• Access to nearby sheltered anchorage positions up to 40 metres depth at zero tide for cold-stack, warm-stack and repairs

• Heavy lifting/shifting equipment using large crawler cranes, SPMTs, and skid platforms/strand-jacks

• Large land bank from BIE for tenants to design and build factories specific to their needs
