President• Is responsible for the organization• Represents VIS with partners
Vice-President• Takes care of the internal organization• Assists the president in their duties
Treasurer• Oversees the financial health of VIS• Pays bills, records transactions etc.
Vice-Treasurer• Assists the treasurer in their duties• Is responsible of the office
Secretary• Prepares the meetings and record the minutes• Writes the annual report
Booking• Books transportation and accommodation• Schedules the events of the semester
Webmaster• Maintains the VIS website• Takes care of the IT systems
Info & Members• Keeps a record of the members• Writes the weekly newsletter

On average, board members report spending 10-15 hours per week on VIS, including weekly board meetings (2 hours), going on trips (1-9 days at a time), and various other duties (e.g. office hours). Note that you can modulate your workload depending on your availability by signing up to more or less working groups and events.
Will we get a compensation?Not financially; however, you don’t need to pay for the trips that you’re leading, you’ll get invited to free bonding activities and training events, and you get a few other small benefits (hoodies etc.)
