Welcome to our Autumn Customer Newsletter

We have been very busy these past few months: moving our office and workshop to bigger premises, expanding our team with three new members, doing our bit for charity, and of course designing, manufacturing and installing some stunning projects.

This newsletter includes our latest case study: a state-of-the-art transformation of a tired looking balcony into a beautiful outdoor living space, showcasing how seamlessly our products work together meeting all customer’s expectations.

Winners of Most Attractive Stand at Royal Lancashire Show 2015

In August we took part in the Royal Lancashire Show, a fantastic three days outdoor family event.

We had the opportunity to get very creative with the space at our disposal, building a modern decking bench out of our innovative Qwickbuild aluminium sub-structure and our Resortdeck composite decking. This was the perfect rest place for visitors whilst the children had ago at our self-built miniature golf course.

Our efforts paid off when we won the award, with the judges commenting on how well we interacted with the visitors and the way our products were nicely displayed on our trade stand.

Overall we had a fantastic weekend and we enjoyed very much interacting with the local community in the lovely Lancashire outdoors.

CASE STUDY: BALCONY TRANSFORMATION

There is nothing like living in the city but still being able to enjoy a stunning view from your balcony.

This was exactly what our recent customer wanted to do but their balcony was looking old, tired and in desperate need for a transformation.

After talking directly with the customer and agreeing a budget for the project, we were able to design and manufacture a bespoke outdoor living solution made to fit their exact requirements.

Utilising our revolutionary Qwickbuild aluminium sub-structure it was possible to manufacture the decking frame as made-to-measure sections prior to start on site, saving time and money.

Our installation team were able to dismantle the existing platform and wood railing, install the aluminium frame, decking boards and glass balustrade in just two days on site.

The total area covered was 13 sq metres and a 15mm clear toughened glass was utilised for the balcony railing with a stainless steel slotted handrail to provide the finishing touch to a state-of-the-art project.

Marathon Hike Completed

This summer we supported three local girls during their preparations for the Mighty Marathon Hike in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support.

The 26 miles hike took place on Saturday 18th July starting near Manchester and ending in Sheffield. Our Elite Girls completed the challenging course in under 10 hours, raising an incredible £450 towards this worth charity.
