Ready for spring and summer, the new 2016 Honda HR-V is an entry-level crossover that slots in under the popular Honda CR-V in terms of both size and pricing. Smart and modern looking, the HR-V will be a roomy compact

CUV with many features that make it ideal for families. Concealed rear door han-dles further enhance its coupe-like appearance.Power comes from a highly refined and responsive 1.8-liter SOHC 16-valve 4-cyl-inder engine with i-VTEC valvetrain and dual-stage intake manifold, producing an estimated peak 138 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and 127 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,300 rpm The HR-V is available in either two-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive drivetrain configurations. Honda claims the HR-V’s 1,665 litres of cargo space will rival that of some compact SUVs. Under the hood of the HR-V is a 1.8-litre four-cylinder unit that develops 138 horsepower and 127 lb-ft of torque. The engine incorporates Honda’s i-VTEC variable valve timing system for better fuel economy. The Honda HR-V will be launching in dealerships soon. Pric-ing is expected to be from $14,495 to $25,990.

Vancouver, BC- As one of Canada’s most well-re-garded vehicle replacement programs, British Co-lumbia’s SCRAP-IT® Program applauds the provin-

cial government for reintroducing an incentive program for the purchase of a qualifying new electric vehicle.

In addition to the previously announced SCRAP-IT incen-tive, the program announced on March 23 by Minister Bill Bennett of the Ministry of Energy and Mines adds ad-ditional incentives of up to $5,000. When stacked with the SCRAP-IT® program and a dealer point of sale incen-tive, consumers can receive up to $8,250.

“This program will give a lot of British Columbians who have been thinking of purchasing an electric vehicle an extra push into finalizing a sale,” said SCRAP-IT® Program CEO Dennis Rogoza. “As mentioned by Minister Ben-nett, this program will allow for more electric vehicles on the road and reduce emissions in this province. This is a huge win for consumers and the environment. We con-gratulate Minister Bennett for demonstrating leadership

in bringing this tremendous program to British Colum-bians.”

As part of the program launch, SCRAP-IT® will be giving British Columbians a chance to win a brand new, 100% electric Nissan Leaf. The Leaf will be on display as part of the SCRAP-IT® booth at the Vancouver International Auto Show, March 24-29 at the Vancouver Convention Centre.

“As the largest auto event in Western Canada, we saw this as a great opportunity for consumers to visit our booth, learn more about this program, enter to win the spectacular new Nissan Leaf – as well as check out all the incentive qualified vehicles which will be on display at the Auto Show,” said Rogoza.

As previously announced as part of the SCRAP-IT® pro-gram, consumers who have a 2000 or older vehicle they would like to retire as part of their new electric vehicle purchase should visit the SCRAP-IT® website (www.scra-pit.ca) to apply for the incentive program.

Vancouver, BC- The Minister of Energy and Mines, Bill Bennett, has unveiled a new clean energy vehicle program designed to spur the

adoption of this type of auto.

The Clean Energy Vehicle for BC (CEV for BC) incen-tive program will provide BC residents with up to $5,000 off the pre-tax sticker price for qualifying new battery electric, fuel-cell electric and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles and up to $6,000 for a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle. Combined with the recently announced incentive program from SCRAP-IT, purchasers of a new electric can stack each offer to potentially save up to $8,250 when a dealer point of sale incentive is added.

“The CEVforBC program, along with the recently an-nounced incentive program from SCRAP-IT will pro-vide the vehicle purchasing public with more choic-es,” said Blair Qualey, President and CEO of the New Car Dealers Association of BC (NCDA). “The Associa-tion, on behalf of its dealer members has advocated for purchase incentives based on feedback from the public and we applaud government for acting in such a positive manner. Many of the vehicles that will be taking part of the program can be viewed at the 2015 Vancouver International Auto Show and we encourage anyone thinking of an electric vehicle purchase to come to the Show.”

The program will be administered by the New Car Dealers Association of BC and will begin April 1, 2015.

Audi has confirmed that the carmaker will add a “sporty” large luxury crossover to its lineup called the Q8, as part of an effort to further expand the brand’s product range.

AUDI hints, the sleek, four –door Coupe styled Q8 may be an all-electric vehicle with a powerful 90 kilowatt-hours. Battery and a projected range further than a Tesla Model S

The spec will be very high with an interior as luxurious as an A8’s as well as some off road capability thanks to the adjustable air suspension. The Q8 will be aimed at wealthy Chinese, Middle-Eastern and European buyers as well as the US market where eight US states will require 15% of new cars sold per manufacturer to be electric by 2025.

The 2015 BMW X3 compact SUV has been refreshed for the new model year with a few changes. The X3 stylistically does

march to a somewhat different tune with it high cabin, sharp razor edged looks and upright stance. The X3 arrives with a Turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engines as standard, although an eco-friendly diesel engine is also available for an extra $1,700. Transmission is an eight speed automatic, and BMW’s xDrive all-wheel-drive system is standard, with the ability to switch torque from front to rear, or to outside wheels to provide more stability during tight turns. The X3 cabin has also been updated for 2015, with many of the former hard plastics now replaced by high-quality; soft-touch surfaces most of the interior panels. Well-appointed leather seats, sleek brushed aluminum trim pieces, high quality switchgears and controls all add to the premium ambience. The upright cabin features great vis-ibility and provides decent leg and headroom in all quarters. The rear seat area seats two passengers in comfort or three in squeeze. The rear cargo space of 770 litres grows to 1,592 L when the 40/20/40 split rear seats are folded down. The rear cargo liftgate can opens and closes automatically by moving a foot under the rear bumper if you opt for that extra feature. Our gleaming Alpine white tester was the Diesel engine version, namely a BMW 2015 BMW X3 xdrive 28d equipped with a black leatherette interior. The tester came with a high specifica-tion Premium Package Enhanced ($6,000) that included: Comfort access features, Rear View camera, park distance control, Lumbar support, Adaptive headlights. Automatics trunk, panora-ma sunroof, satin aluminum roof rails, lights pack-age, LED fog lights, On Board navigation, Sirius XM Satellite tuner, Harmon Kardon sound system, universal remote and alarm system. Also added was the ($500) BMW ConnectedDrive Services

Prof with ARTTI Package ($500) with such fea-tures as BMW Online access. Concierge serves, internet, remote services Advanced Real Time Traffic Info. (ARTTI). Stand-alone options in-cluded manual rear sunshades and a storage compartment. Note; the optional $1,600 Tech-nology Package, has a plethora of safety equip-ment such as: Lane Departure, Blind Spot and Collision Warning and a Highbeam Assistant, which automatically dims the high beams when other vehicles approach. On the road, the X3’s 2.0L turbocharged en-gine produces 181 horsepower and a decent

enough 280 pound-feet of torque at a maximum 1,750 rpm. The usual diesel clatter is muted and barely audible. Acceleration is brisk and the eight-speed transmission is smooth and refined. With a well sorted suspension, a small footprint and excellent as-standard xDrive all-wheel drive system, the X3 has delightfully tactile handling and cornering. The xDrive system provides superlative grip and traction. There are three selectable drive modes: Sport: which tightens up steering and transmission shifts but

also cancels the Start/Stop function; Normal, and Eco Pro – with an instru-ment display meter showing fuel consumption and use.

Natural Resources Canada fuel economy figures for the X3 Diesel is (L/100 km) 8.6 city, 6.9 highway. In summing

up there are few vices when comparing the X3 to the competition. It has the BMW cache, build quality

and engineering without compare. However, it can start getting a tad expensive when you tick the options boxes as on our tester, so it pays to think about what toys and feature you can live without. It won’t really affect the

ownership experience, as even the base X3 spec is good. The X3 diesel version makes a lot of

sense, and is actually excellent value at the base price. Very nice.

Nissan receives two 2015 ALG Residual

Value Awards

New Rolls-Royce confirmed

In addition to the national unveilings for near-future and concept vehicles, two of Nissan’s existing products shared the spotlight today as winners of the 2015 ALG Re-sidual Value Awards. Nissan’s Versa Note was awarded the 2015 ALG Residual Value

Award in the Subcompact Car segment and, the made-for-Canada Nissan Micra re-ceived the inaugural 2015 ALG Residual Value Award in the City Car segment.Since the ALG Residual Awards’ inception in Canada seven years ago, Nissan Canada Inc. (including the Infiniti family of vehicles), has received a total of 23 awards.

Rolls-Royce has confirmed the ultra-luxury carmaker is working on a new model. The new model set to join Phantom, Ghost and Wraith in the lineup was dubbed a “seminal moment” in the brand’s 111-year history.

The company described a car that “offers the luxury of a Rolls-Royce in a vehicle that can cross any terrain” leading some to believe the next model will be an SUV. It was also described as a “high-bodied car” with an all-new aluminum architecture. The in-dustry is anticipating a number of entrants into the luxury SUV segment including of-ferings from Lamborghini and Bentley so it would not be too surprising if Rolls-Royce joined the fray. This latest announcement comes as Rolls-Royce enjoys a wave of strong sales. Last year marked its fifth consecutive year of record sales delivering more than 4,000 units globally in 2014.Strong showings in markets like North America and China have led the company to create over 200 new permanent jobs in the past 18 months to meet customer de-mand, particularly for bespoke cars. There was no timeline set for further information.

The new Mercedes Benz GLA is a compact CUV based on the new CLA/B-Class sedan platform, and joins a CUV/SUV line up comprising of five models (GLA, GLK, ML, GL and G). It’s nothing like its tall, upright siblings. Instead it is a curvy,

semi-aggressive, low sporty CUV with sharp styling. The GLA is offered in two ver-sions for now; The GLA 250 4Matic; we tested with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo en-gine that produces 208 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Meanwhile the GLA 45 AMG, has according to Mercedes, the world’s most powerful series produc-tion four-cylinder — in this case an AMG-built and tuned 2.0L turbo engine with a stupendous 355 horsepower and 332 lb.-ft. of torque! Base transmission on the GLA 250 is a seven- speed autobox, while the GLA 45 has a performance version Seven-speed dual clutch AMG Speedshift and 4Matic drivetrain Inside, the GLA 250’s cabin is very well executed in Mercedes’ contemporary fashion. The dash is an all- black affair with a cool piece of textured metal look trim across the middle of it. Metal look trim also nicely offsets the black leather seat and doors, while the five round air vents on the dash look very stylish. A thick chunky steering wheel and clear, well designed controls and instruments are a delight to witness. Technol-ogy is taken care of with a central display screen for the navigation system. All the plastics, fabrics, and fitting are high quality and the typical M-B quality is all there. In term of interior space, legroom and headroom is good for both driver front and rear seat passengers. Note: the rear seats folded down and are also adjustable for rake. The rear storage area is decent enough, and cargo can be loaded easily thank to the low rear loading sill and optional power tailgate. Standard features on the GLA include such features as: Automatic climate control, aluminum roof rails, Attention Assist, audio system with single CD and Bluetooth, automatic headlamp activation, Collision Prevention Assist, Crash Responsive Emer-gency Lighting, , Easy-Pack load securing kit, Eco start/stop function, enhanced on/off-road package, power and heated and exterior mirrors, heated front seats, Light & Sight package, Memory package with power steering column, multi-function steer-

ing wheel with LCD display, power-adjustable passenger’s seat. Options include the Sport Package ($1,700) comprising of 19-inch AMG wheels, AMG styling package, aluminum trim; Premium Package ($3,800) includes passive blind spot assist, pan-oramic sunroof, rear-view camera, Comand online navigation; Premium Plus Pack-age ($2,000) includes Easy-Pack power tailgate, integrated garage door opener, stor-age package, exterior power folding mirrors, auto-dimming mirrors (rear-view and driver’s side), bi-xenon headlamps, media interface and Sirius satellite radio ($475). On the road, the GLA 250 we tested proved to be a very good performer. The en-gine is a smooth, willing unit, and with its 208 horsepower @ 5,500 rpm; 258 lb.-ft. of torque @ 1,250 rpm and excellent 4MATIC all-wheel drive system provide plenty of power and grip. The seven-speed tranny is also impressive with a smooth take off and switching. The GLA is also fast as well and has good acceleration. Handling wise, the electro-mechanical power steering has a nice feel with good feedback. On twisty roads and urban areas the GLA roved to be stable, composed and agile when it needed to be. The GLA 250 also has an Eco default mode, which comes with an automatic stop/start feature to help with fuel economy. The GLA 250 with its 4Ma-tic system can handle very light trails, or gravel road with its ground clearance and suspension setup. But it is not a serious rock climber by any mean. It also comes with a Downhill Speed Regulation (DSR) and an off-road transmission mode.to help on more challenging trails. Natural Resources Canada rate the GLA fuel economy at (L/100 km) 9.8 city, 7.4 highway. Not a lot to complain about with the GLA 250. The back seat has less legroom than you would expect and the very attractive base price start rising alarmingly when you add options –However, choose wisely and you can still walk away with a decent spec version. With the new GLA, Mercedes-Benz has a SUV/CUV line up with something to offer for all buyers. Highly recommended. By Veeno Dewan 2015 Mercedes Benz GLA250 base priced from $37,200 plus options, Destination charge ($1,995).

Burnaby, B.C., March 24 - BCAA launches Evo Car Share, Van-couver’s only pick-up and drop-off anywhere car sharing service to offer a full fleet of four-door, hybrid vehicles.

With room for five passengers, cargo space and bike/ski racks, Evo allows more ways for people to explore the beauty of British Columbia.

Evo, created by BCAA, marks part of the auto club’s ongoing evolution to meet the changing needs of British Columbians, keeping them mobile, whether or not they own a car. A recent survey by Insights West indicates that car sharing is good for Vancouver and that the city would benefit from better vehicle and service options. In the survey, 72 per cent of Vancouverites say car sharing is environmentally sustainable and 58 per cent say more and better car sharing options will help reduce traffic congestion. The survey also reveals that 62 per cent of Vancou-ver residents are looking for more car sharing options, saying a car sharing service that lets them ski, swim and shop on the same day will make Vancouver an even better place to live.

“This is an incredibly exciting day for BCAA,” says Paul Healey, BCAA President & CEO. “Evo is not only an evolution of car shar-ing in B.C., allowing Vancouverites a way to experience more of our beautiful city, but part of the evolution of our business. BCAA has grown to serve one in three B.C. households today, and Evo is the latest example of how we evolve to stay reward-ing for our Members and serve the needs of British Columbians.”

BCAA believes car sharing is of growing importance for modern city dwellers as a sustainable mobility option and a way to im-prove the on-going issue of traffic congestion. By introducing roomier cars with bike and ski racks, Evo will also allow people who don’t own a car to enjoy more of what the city has to offer. According to the survey, 79 per cent of Vancouverites say not having access to a car negatively affects their quality of life and leaves them struggling with bad weather, being stuck some-where waiting for a ride or being late for work. Nearly half say they’re proud to live in a city with great car sharing options but

are looking for a service that lets them do more to take advan-tage of the B.C. lifestyle.

According to the survey:•67% say access to a car is better for the local economy allowing for shopping and entertainment experiences; and 62% say a car sharing service that lets them ski, swim and shop on the same day will make Vancouver an even better place to live

•Nearly 60% say a car sharing service with more space and racks for bikes and skis will allow them to enjoy more of B.C.

•45% say they would give up their cars for a car sharing option that is as convenient and allows them to do all the things they can do with their own car.

•Vancouverites say mobility is more important to them than chocolate (89%) or coffee (77%)

Starting with hundreds of four-door, low-emission hybrid cars, Evo is now available throughout Vancouver. As a one-way car sharing service, Members can drive wherever they need to go and then drop the car off anywhere within the Vancouver-area Home Zone, which expands east to west from Nanaimo Street to Camosun Street and north to south from Stanley Park to 41st Avenue. Evo cars can be booked and accessed by smartphone using the Evo App.

Other Evo features that are important to car share users:

•Only pay for time used with pay-by-the-minute rate option in-cluding all-inclusive per minute/per hour/per day rates.

•Supports local communities and donates 100% of users’ $2 an-nual ICBC car share fee to non-profit agencies.

BCAA has chosen Vulog to implement its car share solution. Vulog is a market leader in car sharing technology, with strong expertise in one-way and free floating car sharing services. Evo Car Share is open to everyone but BCAA Members receive free Evo registration ($35 CAD value) and a 10% usage credit. For more details and to learn how Evo works, visit evo.ca.

NASCAR Champion Toyota Tundra Makes its Canadian Debut

For all of its impressive capabilities, a racing version of the Toyota Tundra was a featured attraction not to be missed at the Toyota booth during this year’s Calgary International Auto and Truck Show recently. The headliner was the #4 Toyota Tundra race truck that was on display for show visitors. Driven by Eric Jones and part of Kyle Busch Motorsports, the truck is part of the Toyota team that won last year’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NC-WTS) manufacturer’s championship. That made it seven titles in the 11 years Toy-ota has participated in the series. A series record was set when the Tundra won its first 10 races last season.

Appearances by Jamie Davis will be another special Tundra attraction

at the Toyota display. Davis – who is based in Alberta and stars in Discov-ery television’s hit series “Highway Thru Hell” – who was at the booth on the show’s final two days:Davis’ show chronicles the heavy rescue work his crew undertakes in patrolling some of the world’s most dangerous and difficult stretches of road, most notably Highways 63 and 881 that lead to Fort McMurray. Last month, Tundra won Cana-dian Black Book and ALG awards for the sixth consecutive year, further affirming the nameplate’s superior quality and retained value.

With summer around the corner, it’s a good idea to carry out some basic maintenance procedures to make sure your vehicles is

running at peak performance for the summer driv-ing season. Spring is one of the prime times for auto maintenance and there is nothing better than doing that first hand wash on the driveway on a warm Satur-day afternoon or a wax and polish on lazy Sunday. It is also a time to take out the snow shovel, the sandbags, heavy boots and winter emergency supplies out of the trunk and store them until next season. Some preparation now will help ensure that your sum-mer driving plans go as smoothly as you envision then now. Check out the following tips on getting your ve-hicle ready for the warm weather. Roll on Summer!• Read the owner’s manual and follow the rec-

ommended service schedules.• Have hard starts, rough idling, stalling, etc. corrected before hot weather sets in.• Flush and refill the cooling system (radia-tor) according to the service manual’s recommenda-tions. The level, condition, and concentration of the coolant should be checked periodically.• If you are into do-it-your self, look for repair facilities that employ -certified automotive techni-cians.• The tightness and condition of belts, clamps, and hoses should be checked by a qualified auto technician.• Have a marginally operating air conditioner system serviced by a qualified technician to reduce the likelihood of more costly repairs.• Change the oil and oil filter as specified in owner’s manual. (Properly dispose of used oil.)• Replace other filters (air, fuel, PCV, etc.) as

recommended.• Check the condition of tires, including the spare. Always check tire pressure when the tires are cold.• Inspect all lights and bulbs; replace burned out bulbs.• Replace worn wiper blades and keep plenty of washer solvent on hand to combat summer’s dust and insects.• Check all fluids, including engine oil, power steering, brake and transmission as well as windshield washer solvent and antifreeze/coolant.• Check the hoses and belts to make sure they are not cracked, brittle, frayed, loose or showing signs of excessive wear.• Check the battery and replace if necessary.

Make sure the connection is clean, tight and corrosion-free.• Check the brake system an-nually and have the brake linings, ro-tors and drums inspected at each oil change.• Inspect the exhaust system for leaks, damage and broken sup-ports or hangers if there is an unusual noise. Exhaust leaks can be dangerous

and must be corrected without delay.• Schedule a tune-up to help the engine deliver the best balance of power and fuel economy and pro-duce the lowest level of emissions.• Check the heating, ventilating and air condi-tioning (HVAC) system, as proper heating and cooling performance is critical for interior comfort and for safe-ty reasons such as defrosting.• Inspect the steering and suspension system annually including shock absorbers, struts and chassis parts such as ball joints, tie rod ends and other related components.• Check the tires, including tire pressure and tread. Uneven wear indicates a need for wheel align-ment. Tires should also be checked for bulges and bald spots.• Check the wipers and lighting so that you can see and be seen. Check that all interior and exterior lighting is working properly and replace worn wiper blades so you can see clearly when driving during pre-cipitation.Whether you visit a professional service technician or do it yourself, a thorough vehicle inspection this spring can help keep your car safe and dependable and help you avoid much higher costs down the road in the form of more extensive repairs or lost resale value.

The 2015 Range Rover Evoque is unique in the premium SUV/CUV sector. For starters, it looks very leftfield with its compact three or

five doors format and chopped super- low roofline. It is still daring a few years after its launch with its dramatic high belt line, narrow headlights and big wheels stretched to the corners. After four years on the market, the Evoque still looks cutting edge. It’s lightweight, compact footprint and excellent four -wheel-drive system have made it a formida-ble success for the India based Tata Company that owns the Land Rover brand. The Evoque is available in a few different trim lines: the four-door Dynamic trim level, Pure, Pure City, Pure Plus, Prestige and top line Autobiography trims model. The Dynamic trim adds sporty fascias, sills, front grille and tailpipes, while the cabin is set off contrasting bright trim. The Evoque is pow-ered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder that produces 240 horsepower and 250 pound-feet of torque. Transmission is via a nine-speed ZF auto-matic transmission with adaptive shift program to match driving styles and a wide spread of ratios to complement engine performance.Standard features on the Evoque include: Dual-zone climate control, passive keyless entry, power front seats with lumbar support, heated front seats, steering wheel and windshield, power tailgate, panoramic sunroof, 825-watt Meridian surround-sound audio system with 17 speakers, navigation system, eight-inch touchscreen, adaptive xenon headlights with LED lighting, automatic headlight levelling and cornering lights, grained leather seats with perforated mid-section, leather steer-ing wheel with audio system and adaptive cruise controls, dynamic stability control, traction control, roll stability control, hill descent control, hill start assist. Options include such items as: Adaptive Dy-namics ($1,000); satellite radio ($450); cirrus head-liner ($275); heated rear seats ($500); contrasting

coloured roof ($730); parallel park with parking exit and perpendicular park ($800); Black Design package ($3,300); adaptive cruise control ($1,500); Driver Tech package ($1,200) includes blind spot monitor, lane departure warning and traffic sign recognition; rear seat entertainment package ($2,000).The top dog, Autobiography models are enriched with extra features such as heated and cooled seats in front (heated in rear), five-inch multi info display, eight-inch touchscreen, InControl Apps Smartphone connectivity, navigation, surround camera, front/rear parking sensors, heated steering wheel with audio and cruise controls, and a high-end 17-speaker, 825-watt Meridian Sound system. The interior of our metallic red tester was superbly kitted out in sumptuous black leather with red and metal contrasting trim. It’s all-very well done with high quality plastics and rich- looking raised stitch-ing on the seats, door trims and glove box. Mean-while, metal and brushed aluminum trim is used to good effect around the cabin. The low roofline and dark interior is brightened by a large pan-oramic glass roof. In terms of space, there ample room up front for taller occupants, while the rear seat room is smaller in the legroom and headroom department, but not too oppressive. The rear car-go area, combines the 60/40-split rear seats, that when folded flat; allow for 1,445 litres (51 cu. ft.) of space accessed by a power tailgate. On and off-the road, the Evoque really shines as its 8.3 inches of ground clearance, a 25 degree approach angle and 33 degree departure angle, allow it to drive through almost 20 inches of wa-ter and tackle most rough trails. It goes without saying; the Four-wheel-drive system is excellent with the on demand set up on

the Evoque employing an Active Driveline system. It decouples 4WD at steady speeds above 35 km/h, and re-engages the rear wheels seamlessly if it de-tects loss of grip. Active Torque Biasing distributes torque between the rear wheels and torque vec-toring redirects it among all four wheels to coun-teract understeer when cornering. Two buttons allow you to toggle between four options for dif-ferent terrains. The powerful 2.0-litre engine is not the biggest or most powerful in this class with 240 hp and 250 lb/ft of torque, but can power the light-weight Evoque from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.6 seconds thanks to smooth shifting of its nine-speed auto-matic. On road handling and steering is light, with good feedback and composed, sports car-like han-dling. Natural Resources Canada rate the Evoques’s fuel economy at L/100 km: 11.3 city, 7.9 hwy. There are not many negatives, however, the rear cabin can be tight for large adults, when the front seat are extended back and the narrow side win-dows do not offer great visibility, although there is a rear backup camera to help with reversing. The Evoque is a dramatically styled, unique looking premium compact SUV that deserves serious at-tention if you have the inclination and finances to enter this rarefied sector. Superb in every way. 2015 Range Rover Evoque. Base priced from $60,895/$73,850Destination charge: $1,470For more info.

leather Seats, Garage Opener, 6-Way Power Drivers Seats, Manual Driver Lumbar Support, Auto Dimming Inner Rear View Mirror and Leather –look Console Cover. MRSP for our tester was $26,995. Options added $1500, and the final price with freight and PDE came to $30,190.The interior layout as on all Mazda’s is sporty and modern. All of the dials and gauges are well placed and, on the GT version; buyers gain a heads-up display that shows relevant information ahead of the driver windshield. Trunk space and back seat room is excellent as is interior storage and comfort. Whether driving in

the city or the interior quietness when driving in the city the Mazda3 displays excellent road manners, handling responses, braking and is impressively quiet on the highway. On the test drive the Mazda3

we had with the fast –acting 6-speed manual transmis-sion was a hoot to drive. The extra power from the bigger 2.5-litre en-

gine is quite intoxicating and offers an excellent combination of speed, perfor-mance and fuel economy. (City 9.2 Highway 6. L/100 km) In addition, the bigger 2.5-liter engine offers yet more torque, faster acceleration in the GT package with its extra bells and whistles. To sum up the 2015 Mazda3 continues to offer a fun to drive nature and is an all- round excellent family car with all the thrills you would expect from this sporty brand.
