1. RULES1.1. The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS).1.2. RRS Appendix P, immediate penalties for Rule 42, will apply.1.3. For Medal Races, ISAF Addendum Q, Umpired Fleet Racing, available on the ISAF website (www.sailing.org), will apply

and changes a number of racing rules. The version that is current when the regatta begins will appear in full in the Sailing Instructions.

1.4. Sonar class only: This will be a Sonar Class Association Appendix B - Alternative Rules event. Not applicable for non-pa-ralympic competitors.

1.5. No national authority prescription will apply, except for the German Junior Championships in the classes Laser Std. / Laser Rad. For these classes will apply the “Meisterschaftsordnung” of the German Sailing Federation (DSV).

1.6. If there is a conflict between languages the English text will take precedence.

2. [DP] ADVERTISING AND BOW NUMBERS2.1. Boats may be required to display bow numbers and advertising chosen and supplied by the Organising Authority.2.2. Competitors aboard the boats ranked first, second and third in the series at the beginning of each day, shall wear yellow,

blue and red bibs respectively while racing. The bibs will be provided by the Organising Authority.2.3. [SP] Boats shall display national flags on mainsails as specified in their class rules. If the class rules do not include a

specification for display flags on mainsails, they shall be displayed in accordance with ISAF specifications available on the ISAF website.

3. ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY3.1. The regatta is open to boats competing in events chosen for the 2016 Olympic Sailing Competition and the 2016 Paralympic

Sailing Competition.3.2. Olympic gender requirements will apply for each Olympic event. Women are not eligible to compete in men’s events and

vice versa.3.3. For the Paralympic events, these events will be open to all competitors whether or not they meet the Paralympic Eligibility

criteria. All teams will be eligible for EUROSAF Champions Sailing Cup series points.3.4. Competitors and coaches shall enter by completing the online entry form on the event website www.manage2sail.com and

paying the required fees. Entries must be received no later than 01 June 2015 to qualify for the Early Entry Fee. Entry in the event is not final until registration is completed.

3.5. ISAF Eligibility shall apply. Each athlete shall be registered as an ISAF Sailor on the ISAF website: www.sailing.org/isafsailor3.6. Competitors under 18 years of age shall present a signed and completed parent (or guardian) consent and declaration form

at registration. The forms are available for download on the event website www.kieler-woche.com. 3.7. Competitors shall produce evidence of membership of the appropriate class association at the time of registration as may

be required by the organizing authority.

3.8. The Organising Authority may cancel an event if the minimum number of entries have not been received by midnight (local time), 01 June 2015. Competitors will be notified of cancelled events by e-mail and posting on the event website. The entry fees for cancelled events will be refunded by bank transfer.

4. IFDS FUNCTIONAL CLASSIFICATION4.1. Disabled sailors shall have valid International Classification under the IFDS Functional Classification System.4.2. Protests regarding classification may be filed not later than “first appearance“. However, protests will not be decided at the

regatta.

5. FEES5.1. Fees are stated in Euro and include any local taxes. Entries received not later than 01 June 2015 will qualify for the Early

Entry Fee.

5.2. Not applicable.5.3. All boats sailing in split fleets shall pay a fee of 5,00 € for the coloured streamers for group identifications as provided at the

Check-In. The fee will be refunded on return.

6. FORMAT6.1. For Olympic events.6.1.1. The regatta will consist of an Opening Series and a Medal Stage. The Opening Series may be divided into a Qualifying

Series and a Final Series.6.1.2. The top TEN finishers in the Opening Series of each event will advance to the Medal Stage, provided a minimum of 3 races

have been completed in the Opening Series.6.1.3. There will be ONE Race in the Medal Stage in ALL events. 6.2. For Paralympic events, the regatta will consist of a single series. 6.3. Other formats may be used as authorized by the Champions Sailing Cup Steering Committee.

7. SCHEDULE7.1. Registration for competitors, coaches and team leaders is scheduled to begin 1600 hrs on 19 June at Olympic Center

Kiel-Schilksee.7.2. The first briefing for coaches and team leaders is scheduled for 0900 hrs on 20 June.7.3. Classes Laser Std. and Laser Rad. only: Measurement and inspection of sails in the DSV Hall is scheduled: Fri., 19 June

from 1400 hrs. on and Sat., 20 June from 0830 to 1030 hrs.7.4. Competitors welcome and briefing is scheduled for 0930 hrs on 20 June.7.5. The warning signal for the first race will be not earlier than 1200 hrs on 20 June.

7.7. On the last day of racing, no warning signal will be made after 1400 hrs.7.8. The Price Giving Ceremoney is scheduled to begin 1630 hrs on 24 June.

8. EQUIPMENT INSPECTION8.1. Each boat shall have a valid measurement certificate (if required by class rules). Boats shall use the approved Nationality

Code Letters on their sails as required by the RRS. 8.2. Boats may be subject to inspection at any time during the event. The procedures for inspections will be specified in the

Sailing Instructions or Equipment Inspection Regulations (EIR).8.3. The equipment limitations as specified in the class rules shall apply.

9. SAILING INSTRUCTIONSThe Sailing Instructions will be available at registration. Other documents governing the event will be published with the Sailing Instructions and on the website.

10. VENUE10.1. The regatta will be at Kiel-Schilksee Olympic Center. Addendum B shows the location of the regatta harbour.10.2. The racing area will be Kiel Bay, Kiel-Schilksee, Germany. Addendum A shows the approx. location of the course areas.

11. THE COURSESThe courses will be Windward/Leeward or Trapezoid except that any other courses adopted by ISAF for the 2016 Olympic Sailing Competition or approved by the Champions Sailing Cup Steering Committee may also be used.

12. PENALTY SYSTEMFor the Men’s Skiff, Women’s Skiff, Mixed Two Person Multihull and Paralympic One and Three Person Keelboat events, RRS 44.1 and RRS P2.1 are changed so that the Two-Turns Penalty is replaced by the One-Turn Penalty.

13. INTERNATIONAL JURYAn International Jury will be appointed in accordance with RRS 91(b).

14. SCORING14.1. The Low Point System of RRS Appendix A will apply except that RRS A4.1 is changed so that the points scored in the medal

stage are double.14.2. A boat’s score shall be calculated in accordance with RRS A2, except that the score for the medal race shall not be excluded.14.3. For the Opening Series, or for the Paralympic classes with a single series, a total of at least 3 races are required to be

completed to constitute a regatta. When 5 or more races have been completed, a boat‘s series score will be the total of her race scores excluding her worst score.

14.4. The top TEN boats overall after the Opening Series in the Olympic classes will carry forward their overall points to the Medal Stage which shall be added to their Medal Race points to give the overall Event score.

14.5. Ties in the overall Event scores will be decided on the final race scores in the Medal Stage. This changes RRS Appendix A8.14.6. Finn-class only: There will be an additional scoring for Finn-Masters born in 1975 or earlier. The scoring will be an extract

of the overall result list.

C.1. REGATTASThe 2015 EUROSAF Champions Sailing Cup Series is comprised of the following regattas:

• Trofeo Princesa Sofia Palma, Majorca• Trentino Garda Olympic Week Riva del Garda, Italy• Delta Lloyd Regatta Medemblik, the Netherlands• Kieler Woche Kiel, Germany• Semaine Olympique Française La Rochelle, France

EUROSAF may add additional regattas to the series in the future.

C .2. PROPERTYThe EUROSAF Champions Sailing Cup is owned by EUROSAF.

C .3. PRIZES AND EUROSAF CHAMPIONS SAILING CUP RANKING POINTSC.3.1. EUROSAF will award prizes to the top 3 boats, in each class, in the Champions Sailing Cup competition.C.3.2. The date, time and location of the of the EUROSAF Champions Sailing Cup prize giving, if any, will be announced by

EUROSAF.C. 3.3. A boat placing first, second or third in this regatta will forfeit their EUROSAF European Sailing Cup Rankings points if they

fail to attend the prize giving ceremony without prior written permission from the Organising Authority.

keine Anwendung. 1.4. Bei unterschiedlichen Interpretationen ist der

englische Text maßgebend.1.5. Jury-Hearings können nach dem Arbitration System

verhandelt werden.

2. WERBUNG UND BUGNUMMERN2.1. Boote können aufgefordert werden, Bugnummern und

Werbung zu zeigen. Dieses wird durch den Veranstal-ter bereitgestellt.

2.2. Während der Rennen müssen die ab Tagesbeginn erst-, zweit- und drittplatzierten Teilnehmer entspre-chend gelbe, blaue oder rote Trikots tragen. Die Tri-kots werden vom Veranstalter gestellt.

3. ZULASSUNGSKODEX UND MELDUNG3.1. Die Wettfahrten sind für die in Punkt 5 genannten

Klassen offen ausgeschrieben.3.2. Teilnehmer und Trainer werden aufgefordert sich über

das Onlinemeldeformular auf www.kieler-woche.de anzumelden und das entsprechende Meldegeld zu bezahlen. Meldungen müssen bis zum 01. Juni 2015 eintreffen, um die „Early Entry Fee“ zu sichern.

3.3. Es gilt der ISAF Zulassungskodex.3.4. Teilnehmer sollen den Nachweis der Mitgliedschaft

in der entsprechenden Klassenvereinigung bei der Anmeldung vorzeigen.

3.5. Minderjährige Teilnehmer unter 18 Jahren müssen eine von ihren Eltern (Vormund) unterzeichnete Ein-verständniserklärung vorlegen. Die Vorlagen stehen zum Herunterladen auf www.kieler-woche.de zur Verfügung.

3.6. Die minimale Anzahl der Meldung je Klasse beträgt 20 Boote.

3.7. Nur 420er Klasse: Die Meldebeschränkung für deut-sche Segler beträgt 100 Meldungen. Die ersten 2/3 der in der deutschen Rangliste positionierten Steuerleute sind berechtigt zu melden. Es gilt die Rangliste zum Zeitpunkt des Meldeschlusses. Im Zweifel entscheidet die Deutsche 420er Klassenvereinigung.

5. MELDEGELDER5.1. Die Meldegelder sind in Euro ausgewiesen. Meldun-

gen, die bis zum 01. Juni 2015 eingehen, haben das in der Spalte „Early Entry Fee“ ausgewiesene Meldegeld.

5.2. Die Meldegelder werden nicht rückerstattet, es sei denn, die Klasse wird vom Veranstalter abgesagt.

5.3. Alle Boote, die in ihrer Klasse in Gruppen segeln, müs-sen eine Gebühr in Höhe von 5,00 € für farbige Grup-penfähnchen beim Check-In bezahlen. Diese Gebühr wird bei Rückgabe zurück erstattet.

6. FORMAT6.1. Für den Fall großer Meldezahlen kann der Veranstal-

ter die Flotte in Gruppen teilen. In Gruppen geteilte Flotten segeln eine Qualifikations- und Finalserie.

7. ZEITPLAN7.1. Teilnehmer, Coaches und Teamleiter können sich

Mittwoch, 24. Juni 2015 ab 09:00 Uhr im Check-In registrieren.

7.2. Die erste Steuermannsbesprechung für Teilnehmer, Trainer und Gruppenleiter findet am Donnerstag, 25. Juni 2015 um 10:30 Uhr im Olympiazentrum Kiel-Schilksee statt.

7.3. Das Ankündigungssignal für die erste Wettfahrt am Donnerstag, 25. Juni 2015 wird nicht vor 13:00 Uhr gegeben.

7.4. Am letzten Wettfahrttag wird kein Ankündigungssignal nach 14:00 Uhr gegeben.

7.5. Folgende Rennen sind geplant:

5. FEES5.1. The fees are stated in Euro. Entries received not later

than 01 June 2015 will qualify for the Early Entry Fee.

5.2. The entry fee is non-refundable, with the exception of the event being cancelled by the Organizing Authority.

5.3. All boats sailing in split fleets shall pay a fee of 5,00 € for the coloured streamers for group identification at the Check-In. The fee will be refunded on return.

6. FORMAT6.1. If a class has a large number of entries, the Organizing

Authority may split the fleet. Split fleets will sail a qua-lifying series and a final series.

7. SCHEDULE7.1. Registration for competitors, coaches and team lea-

ders is scheduled to begin 0900 hrs on Wednesday, 24 June 2015 at the Check-In.

7.2. The first briefing for competitors, coaches and team leaders is scheduled for 1030 hrs on Thursday, 25 June 2015 at the Olympic Sailing Center, Kiel-Schilksee.

7.3. The warning signal for the first race will be no ear-lier than 1300 hrs on Thursday, 25 June 2015.

7.4. On the last day of racing, no warning signal will be made after 1400 hrs.

7.5. The schedule of races and dates of racing is as follows:

8. EQUIPMENT INSPECTION8.1. Each boat shall have a valid measurement certificate.8.2. In addition to RRS 78.2 the measurement certificate

might be inspected throughout the event.

9. SAILING INSTRUCTIONSThe Sailing Instructions will be available at Check-In.

10. VENUE10.1. The Events will be hosted at the Kiel-Schilksee Olym-

pic Center.10.2. The Race Office will be at the Schilksee Olympic

Sailing Center, Kiel-Schilksee. Addendum B shows the location of the regatta harbour.

10.3. The racing area will be Kiel Bay, Kiel-Schilksee, Germany. Addendum A shows the location of the course areas.

11. COURSESThe courses will be defined in the Sailing Instructions.

12. PENALTY SYSTEMFor the classes 29er, A-Cat, Folkeboot, Formula 18, H-Boot, Hobie 16, J/24, Musto Performance Skiff and RS800 RRS 44.1 is changed so that the Two-Turns Penalty is replaced by the One-Turn Penalty.


14. SCORING14.1. The Low Point System of RRS Appendix A will apply.

14.2. A minimum of three races is required to be completed to constitute a series.

14.3. If a boat placed first, second or third in the regatta failed to attend the Prize-Giving-Ceremony without prior written permission from the Organizing Authority, it will forfeit its claim on prizes and trophies.

14.4. If 5 races have been completed in a series, a boat’s series score will be the total of here race scores exclu-ding here worst score.

14.5. If 8 races have been completed in a series, a boat’s series score will be the total of here race scores exclu-ding here two worst scores.


8. KONTROLLVERMESSUNG8.1. Jedes Boot muss einen gültigen Messbrief haben.8.2. In Ergänzung der WR 78.2 kann der Messbrief wäh-

Kiel-Schilksee.10.2. Das Regattabüro ist im Olympiazentrum Kiel-Schilksee.

Anhang B zeigt die Lage des Regattahafens.

10.3. Die Regattagebiete sind in der Kieler Bucht vor Kiel-Schilksee, Deutschland. Anhang A zeigt die Lage der Kursgebiete.

11. KURSEDie Kurse werden in den Segelanweisungen festgelegt.

12. STRAFSYSTEMFür die Klassen 29er, A-Cat, Folkeboot, Formula 18, H-Boot, Hobie 16, J/24, Musto Performance Skiff und RS800 wird die WR 44.1 so geändert, dass die 2-Drehungen-Strafe durch eine 1-Drehung-Strafe ersetzt wird.

13. INTERNATIONALE JURYEs wird eine internationale Jury berufen in Übereinstimmung mit WR 91(b).

14. WERTUNGSSYSTEM14.1. Das Low Point System der WR Appendix A wird

angewendet.14.2. Es sind drei Wettfahrten für eine Serie notwendig.

14.3. Boote, die in der Gesamtwertung auf den ersten drei Plätzen liegen und ohne vorherige schriftliche Genehmigung des Veranstalters bei der Siegerehrung nicht anwesend sind, verwirken ihr Anrecht auf die Preise.

14.4. Wenn 5 Wettfahrten in einer Serie abgeschlossen sind, zählen alle Wettfahrten abzüglich der schlech-testen Wertung des Bootes.

14.5. Wenn 8 Wettfahrten in einer Serie abgeschlossen sind, zählen alle Wettfahrten abzüglich der beiden schlechtesten Wertungen des Bootes.

ABSCHNITTE 15 BIS 24Sind in den Kapiteln „Für alle Teile geltende Bestimmungen“ und „Versicherung und Haftungsausschluss“ als Teil dieser Ausschreibung ausgewiesen.

The event Offshore consists of five parts:

SAFETY CATEGORYFor all races (Parts 1 to 5): A marine VHF transceiver (if handheld, it shall be watertight or with a waterproof cover), shall be carried, function properly and be readily accessible.For Inshore Races (Parts 2 and 3) only: If Class Rules prescribe Safety Equipment, this equipment shall be carried. Otherwise, ISAF Offshore Special Regulations Category 4 shall apply.For “Welcome Race” and “Senatspreis” (parts 1 and 5): ISAF Offshore Special Regulations Category 4 shall apply.For “Silbernes Band“ only (part 4): ISAF Offshore Special Regulations Category 3 shall apply.

1. RULES1.1. The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in

the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS).

1.2. Additional rules that apply• ISAF Offshore Special Regulations

1.3. In the event of a conflict between any of the above rules and/or regulations and the Sailing Instructions, the Sailing Instructions shall prevail.

1.4. Jury-Hearings may be conducted under the Arbitration System.

1.5. If there is a conflict between languages the English text shall prevail.

1.6. The Sailing Instructions will change RRS 55 (Trash Disposal) by adding the following sentence to the rule: „However, discarding elastic or wool bands when set-ting a sail are permitted.“

2. ADVERTISING AND BOW NUMBERSBoats may be required to display bow numbers and adverti-sing chosen and supplied by the Organizing Authority.

3. ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY FEE3.1. Applicable to all races:3.1.1. If there are less than eight starting boats in a class,

the Organizing Authority may withdraw the eligibility for this class and will refund the Entry Fee.

3.1.2. When at least eight boats from a rating class, which in itself race “level” and belong to a class recognised by the Organising Authority, take part in a race, the

SICHERHEITSKATEGORIEFür alle Rennen (Teile 1 bis 5): Ein Schiffs-UKW-Gerät (tragbare Geräte müssen wasserdicht sein oder eine wasserdichte Hülle haben) soll vorhanden, funktionsfähig und leicht zugänglich sein.Nur für Inshore Rennen (Teile 2 und 3): Wenn Klassenregeln Sicherheitsausrüstung vorschreiben, soll diese mitgeführt werden. Andernfalls gelten die ISAF Offshore Special Regulations Kategorie 4.Die Rennen „Welcome Race“ und „Senatspreis“ (Teile 1 und 5): Sind als ISAF Offshore Special Regulations Kategorie 4 eingestuft.Das Rennen „Silbernes Band“ (Teil 4): Ist als ISAF Offshore Special Regulations Kategorie 3 eingestuft.

1. REGELN1.1. Die Veranstaltung wird nach den aktuellen Regeln,

wie in den Wettfahrtregeln (WR) - Segeln definiert, gesegelt.

1.2. Zusätzliche Regelungen kommen zur Anwendung:• ISAF Offshore Special Regulations

1.3. Im Fall eines Konfliktes zwischen den oben genannten Regeln und den Segelanweisungen, gehen die Sege-lanweisungen vor.

1.4. Jury-Hearings können nach dem Schlichtungsverfah-ren (Arbitration System) verhandelt werden.

1.5. Bei unterschiedlichen Interpretationen ist der engli-sche Text maßgebend.

1.6. Die Segelanweisungen werden die Regel 55 (Abfall-beseitigung) in der Form ändern, dass folgender Satz ergänzt wird: „Allerdings sind Gummibänder oder Wollfäden beim Setzen eines Segels erlaubt.“

2. WERBUNG UND BUGNUMMERNBoote können aufgefordert werden, Bugnummern und durch den Veranstalter bereitgestellte Werbung zu zeigen.

3. ZULASSUNGSKODEX UND MELDEGELD3.1. Für alle Wettfahrten gilt:3.1.1. Bei weniger als acht Startern in einer Klasse behält

sich der Veranstalter vor, die Zulassung der Klasse ge-gen Rückerstattung des Meldegeldes zurückzuziehen.

3.1.2. Wenn mehr als acht Boote einer Bootsklasse mel-den und diese vom Veranstalter anerkannt ist, behält sich der Veranstalter vor, diese baugleichen Boote in

Einheitsklassen einzuteilen. Mit vorheriger Zustim-mung des Veranstalters darf diese Klasse dann nach Klassenregeln segeln.

3.1.3. Eigner und Steuerleute müssen Mitglieder ihres natio-nalen Verbandes oder eines Mitgliedvereins ihres nati-onalen Verbandes sein.

3.2. Zulassung und Meldegeld fürWelcome Race (20. - 21. Juni):

3.2.1. Folgende Yachten können für das Welcome Race mel-den:

3.2.1.1. Yachten mit ORC-Club- und ORC-Int.-Mess-brief und die Klassen Albin Ballad und X-79. Weitere ISAF Yacht- oder Kielbootklassen oder vom Veranstalter anerkannte Klassen können die Zulas-sung beim Veranstalter beantragen.

3.2.1.2. Multihulls können für das Welcome Race melden.3.2.2. Meldegelder:

Die Meldegelder sind in Euro ausgewiesen. Meldungen, die bis zum 01. Juni 2015 eingehen, haben das in der Spal-te „Early Entry Fee“ ausgewiesene Meldegeld.

3.3. Zulassung und Meldegeld fürKiel-Cup Alpha (22. - 24. Juni):

3.3.1. Folgende Yachten können für den Kiel-Cup Alpha melden: Yachten mit ORC-Int.-Messbrief und Farr30. Weitere ISAF Yacht- oder Kielbootklassen oder vom Veranstalter anerkannte Klassen können die Zulas-sung beim Veranstalter beantragen.

3.3.2. Meldegelder:Die Meldegelder sind in Euro ausgewiesen. Meldun-gen, die bis zum 01. Juni 2015 eingehen, haben das in der Spalte „Early Entry Fee“ ausgewiesene Meldegeld.

3.4. Zulassung und Meldegeld fürKiel-Cup Foxtrott (20. - 23. Juni):

3.4.1. Nur die folgenden Kielboot Klassen sind für die Kiel-Cup Foxtrott Seebahn-Einheitsklas-sen-Regatta zugelassen: J/70, J/80, Mel-ges24, SB20, Albin Express, und Platu 25. Weitere ISAF Yacht- oder Kielbootklassen oder vom Veranstalter anerkannte Klassen können die Zulas-sung beim Veranstalter beantragen.

Organising Authority may regroup these into a One-De-sign Class. With prior permission of the Organising Authority that One-Design class may then race under Class rules.

3.1.3. Owner and Helmsmen must be a member of their Member National Authority or affiliated yacht club.

3.5. Eligibility and Entry Fee for theSilbernes Band (25 - 26 June):

3.5.1. The following boats are eligible to enter the Silbernes Band: Yachts with ORC-Club and ORC-Int. measu-rement certificate. The boat’s mast height (clearan-ce) must not exceed 33 m. Further ISAF recognised Yacht- or Keelboat classes or classes recognised by the Organising Authority may request admission.

3.5.2. Entry Fee: The fees are quoted in Euro. Entries received not later than 01 June 2015 qualify for the Early Entry Fee.

3.6. Eligibility and Entry Fee for the Senatspreis (28 June):

3.6.1. The following boats are eligible to enter the Senat-spreis: Yachts with ORC-Club and ORC-Int. measu-rement certificate. Further ISAF recognised Yacht- or Keelboat classes or classes recognised by the Organi-sing Authority may request admission.

3.6.2. Entry Fee:The fees are quoted in Euro. Entries received not later than 01 June 2015 will qualify for the Early Entry Fee.

3.4.3. Nur für die Klasse J/80 gilt: Alle Eigner und/oder Steuerleute müssen Mitglied ihrer nationalen Klas-senvereinigung sein. Die Mitgliedsbeiträge müssen bezahlt sein. 3.5.1. Folgende Yachten können für das Silbernes Band melden: Yachten mit ORC-Club- und ORC-Int.-Messbrief. Die Masthöhe der Yacht darf 33 m nicht überschreiten (Brückendurchfahrt!). Weitere ISAF Yacht- oder Kielbootklassen oder vom Veranstalter anerkannte Klassen können die Zulas-sung beim Veranstalter beantragen.

3.5.2. Meldegelder:Die Meldegelder sind in Euro ausgewiesen. Meldun-gen, die bis zum 01. Juni 2015 eingehen, haben das in der Spalte „Early Entry Fee“ ausgewiesene Meldegeld.

8.1. KYC = Kieler Yacht-ClubKiellinie 70, Kiel-Düsternbrook.Olympic Center = Olympiazentrum, Kiel-Schilksee. Das Regattabüro (im Olympiazentrum) ist danach täg-lich von 08:00 bis 20:00 Uhr geöffnet.

8.2. Boote, die nicht bis eine Stunde vor ihrem ersten Vorbereitungssignal registriert sind, können als DNC gewertet werden.

9. VERMESSUNG UND WIEGEN9.1. Jedes Boot muss einen gültigen Messbrief besitzen.9.2. In Ergänzung der WR 78.2 kann der Messbrief wäh-

rend der Veranstaltung überprüft werden.9.3. Vermessene Boote:9.3.1. ORC-Yachten müssen in Abänderung der WR 78.

gültige ORC-Messbriefe spätestens zum 01. Juni abgegeben werden. Dieses ändert WR 78. Der Veranstalter behält sich vor die Meldung ande-renfalls nach WR 76.1 zurückzuweisen oder das Meldegeld zu berechnen, statt des Early Entry Fee.

8.2. Boats not registered at least one hour before their first warning signal may be scored DNC.

9. MEASUREMENT AND WEIGHING9.1. Each boat must have a valid measurement certificate.9.2. In addition to RRS 78.2 the measurement certificate

may be inspected throughout the event.9.3. Boats to be measured:9.3.1. ORC-Yachts shall submit a valid ORC-Measure-

15. TRAINERBOOTE15.1. Alle Coachboote müssen registriert sein, die gelten-

den gesetzlichen Bestimmungen und Auflagen und die Coachbootregeln der Veranstaltung erfüllen. Der Veranstalter kann Registrierungen zurückweisen und spätere Registrierungen nach eigener Einschätzung zulassen.

15.2. Coachboote mit Teamleitern, Trainer und anderen Personen müssen außerhalb der Bahngebiete sein, in denen sich Boote von der Startsequenz bis alle Boote durch das Ziel gegangen sind, bzw. Startverschie-bung, Gesamtrückruf oder Abbruch signalisiert wurde, befinden.

15.3. Alle Trainer und Begleitpersonen müssen Auftriebs-mittel tragen. Der Fahrer muss zu jeder Zeit über den Quick-Stopp mit dem Boot verbunden sein.

15.4. Nur EUROSAF Champions Sailing Cup: Alle Coachboote müssen zu jeder Zeit auf dem Was-ser eindeutig sichtbar ihre Buchstaben National-codes ihres ISAF zugehörigen nationalen Verban-des zeigen. Die Mindesthöhe der Zeichen beträgt 200mm und sollen von beiden Seiten sichtbar sein.

16. SCHWIMMWESTENEs wird auf die Grundregel 1.2 der WR verwiesen.

17. [DP] LIEGEPLÄTZEBoote sollen den ihnen zugewiesenen Platz an Land oder im Hafen behalten.

18. [DP] RESTRIKTIONEN ZUM AUS-DEM-WASSER-HOLEN

Kielboote mit zugewiesenen Plätzen dürfen während der Ver-anstaltung nicht aus dem Wasser geholt werden, außer es liegt eine schriftliche Erlaubnis der Wettfahrtleitung vor.

19. [DP] TAUCHAUSRÜSTUNG UND PLASTIK ABHÄNGUNGEN

Geräte, um unter Wasser zu atmen, und Plastik Abhängungen oder vergleichbare Ausrüstung, sind für Kielboote in dem Zeit-raum vom Vorbereitungssignal der ersten Wettfahrt bis zum Ende der Veranstaltung nicht erlaubt.

15. SUPPORT BOATS15.1. All support boats shall be registered with the Organi-

zing Authority and will be required to comply with local legislation and event support boat regulations. The Or-ganizing Authority may refuse registrations and accept later registrations at their sole discretion.

15.2. Support boats with team leaders, coaches and other support personnel shall stay outside areas where boats are racing from the time of the starting sequence until all boats have finished or the Race Committee signals a postponement, general recall or abandonment.

15.3. All coaches and other support personnel shall wear personal flotation devices. The driver shall be connec-ted to the boat using the quick-stop at all time.

15.4. EUROSAF Champions Sailing Cup: All support bo-ats shall clearly display the three letter national code of their ISAF Member National Authority at all times while afloat. The minimum height for the letters shall be 200mm and visible from both sides of the boat.

16. BUOYANCYAttention is drawn to (RRS) fundamental Rule 1.2.

17. [DP]BERTHINGBoats shall be kept in their assigned places in the boat park or harbour.

18. [DP] HAUL-OUT RESTRICTIONS

Boats assigned places in the harbour shall not be hauled out during the regatta, except with and according to the terms of prior written permission of the Race Committee.

19. [DP] DIVING EQUIPMENT AND PLASTIC POOLS

Under water breathing apparatus and plastic pools or their equivalent shall not be used around keel boats between the preparatory signal of the first race and the end of the regatta.

20. FUNKKOMMUNIKATION20.1. Nur J/24 Klasse: UKW-Kanal 17 kann von der Wett-

fahrtleitung für Rückrufe, zu segelnde Kurse oder Wettfahrtinformationen genutzt werden. Teilnehmern wird dringend geraten, wasserfeste Lautsprecher oder wasserfeste Handgeräte mitzuführen.

20.2. Außer im Notfall oder wenn die Ausrüstung vom Veran-stalter gestellt, ist oder wie in NOR 20.1 beschrieben, darf ein Boot während einer Wettfahrt keine Funküber-tragungen, Textnachrichten oder Mobilfunkgespräche empfangen oder senden.

21. PREISE21.1. Olympische Klassen / EUROSAF Champions Sai-

ling Cup und Internationale Klassen: Die in der Gesamtwertung besten drei Boote jeder Klasse erhal-ten Punktpreise. Falls weniger als 10 Boote melden, behält sich der Veranstalter vor, die Anzahl der Preise anzupassen.

21.2. Offshore: Punktpreise werden nach folgendem Schlüssel vergeben: Je angefangene vier Boote je Klasse einen Preis, jedoch höchstens drei Punktpreise.

21.3. Weitere Sonderpreise und Wanderpreise für die ein-zelnen Klassen sind im Programm aufgeführt.

21.4. Jedes teilnehmende Boot erhält als Erinnerungsgabe eine Kieler-Woche-Plakette.

21.5. Preise, die auf der Siegerehrung nicht abgeholt wer-den, fallen an die Veranstalter zurück.

21.6. Teilnehmer sollen Wanderpreise bis zum 31. Dezem-ber 2015 an den Veranstalter zurück senden.

22. [DP] MEDIENRECHTE, KAMERAS UND ELEKTRONISCHE AUSRÜSTUNG

22.1. Durch die Teilnahme an der Kieler Woche oder dem EUROSAF Champions Sailing Cup übertragen die Teilnehmer den Veranstaltern, ihren Sponsoren und der EUROSAF entschädigungslos automatisch das zeitlich und räumlich unbegrenzte Recht für die Nut-zung von Bild-, Foto-, Fernseh- und Hörfunkmaterial, das während der Veranstaltung von den Athleten ge-macht wurde.

22.2. Teilnehmer können aufgefordert werden, Kameras, Mikrofone oder Positionierungssysteme an Bord zu montieren. Dieses Equipment wird von den Veranstal-tern gestellt.

22.3. Die drei bestplatzierten Teilnehmer sowie einzelne Tagessieger können aufgefordert werden, täglich an einer Pressekonferenzen teilzunehmen.

22.4. Teilnehmer können aufgefordert werden, bei der Re-gatta Interviews zu geben.

22.5. Durch die Teilnahme an der Kieler Woche oder dem EUROSAF Champions Sailing Cup akzeptieren die Teilnehmer die Zusendung weiterer Informationen von anderen EUROSAF Champions Sailing Cup Veranstaltern.

20. RADIO COMMUNICATION20.1. Class J/24 only: VHF Channel 17 may be used by the

Race Committee for radio recalls, courses to be sailed and race information. Boats are strongly recommen-ded to have waterproof loudspeakers by which to mo-nitor VHF on deck or waterproof handheld VHF radios.

20.2. Except in emergency or when using equipment sup-plied by the Organizing Authority or as stated in NoR 20.1, a boat shall neither make nor receive radio trans-missions, text messages or cellular phone calls while racing.

21. PRIZES21.1. Olympic Classes / EUROSAF Champions Sailing

Cup and International Classes: Point prizes will be awarded to the best three scored boats of each class. The Organising Authority may alter prizes if less than 10 boats are entered in an event.

21.2. Offshore: Point prizes will be awarded according to the following scheme: Each group of up to four boats one prize but not more than three prizes.

21.3. Additional special prizes and perpetual trophies for the individual classes will be listed in the program.

21.4. Every participating boat will receive a Kieler-Woche-Plaque.

21.5. Prizes not claimed at the Prize-Giving-Ceremony will remain with the Organizing Authority.

21.6. Competitors shall return perpetual trophies to the Organizing Authority by 31 December 2015.

22. [DP] MEDIA RIGHTS, CAMERAS AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT

22.1. By participating in an event of the Kieler Woche or EU-ROSAF Champions Sailing Cup competitors automati-cally grant to the Organizing Authority, their sponsors and EUROSAF the right in perpetuity to make, use and show, from time to time at their discretion, any motion pictures and live, taped or filmed television and other reproductions of the athlete during the period of the competition without compensation.

22.2. Boats may be required to carry cameras, sound equip-ment and positioning equipment as specified by the Organizing Authority.

22.3. The top three competitors as well as the individual race winners may be required to attend a media press conference each day.

22.4. Competitors may be required for interviews at the regatta.

22.5. By participating in an event of the Kieler Woche or the EUROSAF Champions Sailing Cup event competitors accept to receive event information from EUROSAF Champions Sailing Cup Organizing Authorities.

23. HAFTUNGSBEGRENZUNG UNTERWERFUNGSKLAUSEL

23.1. Die Verantwortung für die Entscheidung eines Bootsführers, an einer Wettfahrt teilzunehmen oder sie fortzusetzen, liegt allein bei ihm, er übernimmt insoweit auch die Ver-antwortung für seine Mannschaft. Der Bootsführer ist für die Eignung und das richtige seemännische Verhalten seiner Crew sowie für die Eignung und den verkehrssiche-ren Zustand des gemeldeten Bootes verantwortlich. Der Veranstalter ist berechtigt, in Fällen höherer Gewalt oder aufgrund behördlicher Anordnungen oder aus Sicher- heitsgründen, Änderungen in der Durchführung der Veran-staltung vorzunehmen oder die Veranstaltung abzusagen. In diesen Fällen besteht keine Schadenersatzverpflichtung des Veranstalters gegenüber dem Teilnehmer, sofern der Veranstalter den Grund für die Änderung oder Absage nicht vorsätzlich oder grob fahrlässig herbeigeführt hat. Eine Haftung des Veranstalters, gleich aus welchem Rechts-grund, für Sach- und Vermögensschäden jeder Art und de-ren Folgen, die dem Teilnehmer während oder im Zusam-menhang mit der Teilnahme an der Veranstaltung durch ein Verhalten des Veranstalters, seiner Vertreter, Erfüllungsge-hilfen oder Beauftragten entstehen, ist bei der Verletzung von Pflichten, die nicht Haupt-/bzw. vertragswesentliche Pflichten (Kardinalpflichten) sind, beschränkt auf Schäden, die vorsätzlich oder grob fahrlässig verursacht wurden. Bei der Verletzung von Kardinalpflichten ist die Haftung des Veranstalters in Fällen einfacher Fahrlässigkeit beschränkt auf vorhersehbare, typischerweise eintretende Schäden. Soweit die Schadenersatzhaftung des Veranstalters aus-geschlossen oder eingeschränkt ist, befreit der Teilnehmer von der persönlichen Schadenersatzhaftung auch die Angestellten - Arbeitnehmer und Mitarbeiter - Vertreter, Er-füllungsgehilfen, Sponsoren und Personen, die Schlepp-, Sicherungs-, oder Bergungsfahrzeuge bereitstellen, führen oder bei deren Einsatz behilflich sind, sowie auch alle anderen Personen, denen im Zusammenhang mit der Durchführung der Veranstaltung ein Auftrag erteilt worden ist. Die gültigen Wettfahrtregeln der ISAF inkl. der Zusätze des DSV, die Ordnungsvorschriften Regattasegeln und das Verbandsrecht des DSV, die Klassenvorschriften sowie die Vorschriften der Ausschreibung und Segelanweisung sind einzuhalten und werden ausdrücklich anerkannt.

23.2. Es gilt das Recht der Bundesrepublik Deutschland.

24. VERSICHERUNGJedes teilnehmende Boot muss eine gültige Haftpflichtversi-cherung abgeschlossen haben, die mindestens Schäden im Wert von 3.000.000 € deckt.

23. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY COGNOVITS CLAUSE

23.1. The responsibility for the decision to participate in a race or to continue with it is solely with the skipper; to that extent the skipper also accepts full responsi-bility for the crew. The skipper is responsible for the qualification and the correct nautical conduct of the crew as well as for the suitability and the transportsa-fe condition of the registered boat. In cases of Force Majeure or on grounds of administrative orders or for safety reasons, the organizer is entitled to make changes in the realization of the event or to cancel the event. This does not constitute any liability by the organizer towards the participant, if the reasons for the changes or the cancellation do not result from a wilful or grossly negligent behaviour of the organizer. In case of a violation of obligations that do not consti-tute primary or material contractual duties (cardinal ob-ligations), the liability of the organizer for financial and property damages incurred by the participant during or in connection with the participation in the event and resulting from a conduct of the organizer, its represen-tatives, servants or agents, is restricted to damages that were caused wilfully or grossly negligent. When a violation of cardinal obligations occurs due to minor negligence, the liability of the organizer is limited to foreseeable, typical damages. To the extent that the liability for damages of the organizer is excluded or re-stricted, the participant also relieves the staff - emplo-yees and representatives, agents, servants, sponsors and individuals who provide or drive salvage, safety or rescue vessels or assist with their use from the in-dividual liability for damages, as well as also all other individuals who were instructed to act in connection with the realization of the event. The effective racing rules of the ISAF, the administrative regulations regat-ta-sailing and the articles of association of the DSV, the class rules as well as the regulations of the invitati-on to the competition and the sailing instructions are to be complied with and are expressly recognized.

23.2. The German law shall prevail.

24. INSURANCEEach participating boat shall be insured with valid (and for the racing area suitable) third-party liability insurance with a mini-mum cover of 3,000,000 € per event or the equivalent.

I .2. Organisation:Für nicht-olympische Teilnehmer des internatio-nalen Teils: Ein Einlass der Teilnehmerboote und Coachboote in den Hafen Kiel-Schilksee ist vor Mittwoch, 24. Juni 2015 ca. 08:00 Uhr, nicht mög-lich. Wegen der logistischen Überschneidung der Teile 1 und 2 kann am Mittwoch die Einfahrt zum Hafengelände vorübergehend geschlossen wer-den. Die Fahrzeuge werden dann auf den Parkplatz “Tempest” umgeleitet. I .3. Verkehrsregelungen: Während der Kieler Woche gelten veränderte Verkehrsregelungen im Olympiazentrum Kiel-Schilksee. Alle Teilnehmer werden dringend gebeten, bei Ankunft die Verkehrsschilder zu beachten und den Anordnungen der Polizei und der im Auftrag der Veranstalter tätigen Ordner kooperativ zu folgen. Weitere Richtlinien erhalten die Teilnehmer bei Einfahrt in das Hafenvorfeld.

I 3.2. Kurzzeitiger Zugang zum Hafengelände: Eine tem-poräre Einfahrt in das Hafengelände ist nach Hinter-legung einer Kaution in Höhe von 50 € mit Gültigkeit von einer Stunde möglich. Sie wird nach rechtzeitigem Verlassen des Hafenvorfeldes an der Ausfahrt erstat-tet.

I 3.3. Parken: In der Nähe des Olympiazentrums Kiel-Schilksee sind ausreichend Parkmöglichkei-ten für Fahrzeuge vorhanden. Folgen Sie bitten den Verkehrszeichen zu den Parklätzen. Das Parken an der Fördestraße ist verboten. Fahrzeu-ge werden abgeschleppt!

I .3. Traffic regulations:During the Kieler Woche an altered traffic regulation will apply in the Kiel-Schilksee Olympic Centre area. All participants are urgently requested to observe the traffic signs when approaching Kiel-Schilksee and to cooperate with the police and the Organizing Authority. Further instructions will be given at the entrance to the harbour area.

I .8. Die gesetzliche Höchstgeschwindigkeit in der Strander Bucht beträgt 10 kn.

I .6. Boats may also stay or be craned in the harbour of Strande. Arising fees have to be paid by the owners and will not be refunded by the Organizing Authority.

The Organizing Authority draws attention to the fact that the responsible drivers of rubber- or other mo-torboats have to have the German “Sportbootführer-schein See” or an equivalent powerboat license of his home country (e.g. RYA level 2 powerboat or internati-onal certificate of complience).

I .8. The legal speed limit in Strande Bay is 10 knots.

II.
