6 THEDENMAGAZINE.COM ♥ August 2014

Page 7: August issue 2014

He owes his passion to music, to his older brother. In 1994, when he bought his first guitar, he started to focus on music seriously. He got a teacher in his early learning but he’s mainly self-taught. From the beginning, Farzad was so anxious about Improvise and self-experiences instead of performing other player’s music.

Style of Farzad’s Music is Progressive Metal and Fusion and traits of them are: technical playing of Electric Guitar (7-string) and Acoustic Guitar, use eastern tuning for Acoustic Guitar, mix Eastern, Persian and Classic music with Metal music, various atmosphere and progressive feel, various tracks on a same album.

Farzad composes, plays, records, mixes and masters the tracks and designs album covers by himself. He personally plays 7-string Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar, Violin and for the Percussions, Drums and keyboards he usually does computer programming. He has also had other musicians playing in his records as guest artist.Name of his tracks are only numbers which are in his track-list. The reason is the importance of musical concept against understanding under track name’s influence.

Other than his own musical projects he also composes music for Advertisements, Video Games, Animations, and Short Movies.

The Bonobo’s Uncertain Future

10 THEEDENMAGAZINE.COM ♥ August 2014

Page 11: August issue 2014

11 THEEDENMAGAZINE.COM ♥ August 2014

Bonobos face a precarious future unless they receive better protection through-out their current range, a recent study reveals. Scientists discovered that bono-bos actively avoid areas where humans are present. The researchers found that populations of the endangered great ape were using as little as 28 percent of the suitable habitat available to them, in part due to a wariness of humans. Yet the fact that bonobos keep humans at a dis-tance is justifiable, given that the greatest threats the species faces—poaching and habitat destruction—are both human-caused.

Bonobos are one of two species belong-ing to the genus Pan (the other species is the common chimpanzee). Bonobos inhabit the lowland forests of the Demo-cratic Republic of Congo in central Africa. Their range is restricted to areas south of the Congo River. The species faces mul-tiple threats including habitat fragmenta-tion, human disturbance, and poaching. Additionally, the Democratic Republic of Congo is plagued by war and political in-stability, making it difficult to implement and enforce any conservation efforts.

Of the bonobo’s current range, less than one-third is suitable habitat for bonobos; the remainder is compromised by habi-tat destruction, human disturbance, and poaching. And of the habitat that is suit-able for bonobos, only one quarter is pro-tected. The bonobo is included on the IUCN Red List and is classified as an en-dangered species. The most recent esti-mates of the bonobo population suggests there are between 29,500 and 50,000 in-dividuals.

The study described here was con-ducted by scientists from the University of Georgia, the University of Maryland, the Wildlife Conservation Society, the Congolese Wildlife Authority, the African Wildlife Foundation, Zoological Society of Milwaukee, World Wildlife Fund, Max Planck Institute, University of Stirling, Kyoto University, Lukuru Foundation and several other groups. Their findings were published in the December 2013 issue of Biodiversity and Conservation.

I’ve always believed that accessing the Akashic Records is a great way to get to the bottom of why we do the things we do, why we’re afraid of certain things, why we experience chronic health is-sues, and oh so important to many of us: Why we continue to attract the same relationship issues (romantic, friend-ship, and familial). Accessing these re-cords is like doing research on the his-tory of our soul, and just writing those words has given me Spiritual chills.

Why do this kind of soul research? To help us make the most of our current incarnation; because making the most of this incarnation is something that will help us expedite our spiritual growth and move along our evolutionary process. So, let’s start by discussing what the re-cords are and how we can use them to move ourselves forward.

The Akashic Records are like a Univer-sal library, and they contain a permanent record of all of our incarnations, includ-ing everything that we’ve said, thought, and done during those incarnations. They are also referred to as the Hall of Records and the Hall of Knowledge; and they are an energetic record of every soul’s journey on Earth for this lifetime as well as past lifetimes.

Since so many of us are dealing with or have experienced life scripts* where we (1) attract the same type of person into our lives, or (2) create similar situa-tions over and over again; accessing the Akashic Records is a great tool to help us understand the underlying reasons

we’ve been embroiled in these personal soap operas.

As my friend Lori Carter of Bliss-ful Awakenings, a skilled akashic re-cords reader, says: “The power of the Akashic Records is to help us rec-ognize and change patterns that are keeping us stuck. These patterns can be ancestral, past life or present life; and I repeatedly find that no matter what I am dealing with, opening my Akashic Records is a major step on my healing journey.” I’m in complete agreement with Lori, who provided me with some intriguing insights about my own current lifetime when she peaked into my Records a couple of years ago.

* According to my Guides, life scripts are a series of windows of opportunity or growth experiences where we didn’t quite learn what we set out to learn, and we’ll continue to draw similar situations to ourselves until we finally learn that lesson.

To access the Akashic Records, which are the universal storage area of all our incarnations, we can access them through personal meditation, guided meditations, and/or professional read-ings. But no matter which option we choose, it makes sense to have a knowledge-seeking plan and to know what our intention(s) are for the infor-mation we’ll receive. This plan should include knowing what questions we want/need the answers to; and here are examples of the kinds of questions we might want to ask:

1. Is there something specific about my current journey/lifetime that will help me expedite my Spiritual growth or overcome a fear that I have? 2. Why do I live where I live?3. Why am I suffering from specific health problems/issues?4. Why do I continually attract the same type(s) of people into my life?5. What am I here to work on during this incarnation?

Why have a knowledge-seeking plan? Because we’ve all lived countless life-times and the Hall of Knowledge is huge—picture the New York Public Li-brary and think how difficult it would be to find a particular book without a sys-tem in place to find it. So put together a list of questions and then meditate on them or relay them to the person read-ing the records for you.

Next month, in part two of this article, we’ll talk more about past lives and I’ll have a special meditation to access the Akashic Records that my Guides Akh-nanda and Selena shared with me. Until then…Namaste!

Charly EmeryWith a personal story as captivating as the speed and depth of her vision, personal strategist and author Charly Emery, brings a remarkably in-sightful approach to navigating life and love that accelerates personal evolution, while transform-ing the emotional and physical elements of your life. A high intuitive and exceptional problem solver, Charly pioneered the practice of experi-ential recycling. She has an extraordinary way of recycling your challenges and experiences into wisdom that propels you forward even faster, expanding your personal awareness and spiri-tual power at the same time.

interview by Julie Lucas

Page 24: August issue 2014

24 THEEDENMAGAZINE.COM ♥ August 2014

Charly is incredibly passionate about living a life you love and equally dedicated to helping oth-ers do so as quickly as possible within the continuous process of spiritual growth and evolution. It’s no surprise that her vivacious per-sonality and compelling life expe-rience combined with her raw intu-itive and strategic skill, are rapidly making her star rise in the realms of self-help and entertainment.

As authentic in front of the camera as she is sitting across from you, Charly’s flair for presenting deeply profound in-sight in ways that are simple, engag-ing and effective has attracted guest appearances on FOX LA, FOX News Boston, NBC affiliates, countless ra-dio shows, and “Opening Act,”(Nigel Lythgoe/E!), where she brought her raw, cutting edge coaching skills to television. With a mission to facilitate conscious awareness, Charly’s vision yields unique, thought provoking per-spectives to a variety of topics that often generate all too familiar commen-tary. Recently I sat down with Charly so she could share some her wisdom and life experience with all of you.

I’m so glad we could have this time together. tell me, what surprises people most about you Charly? Thank you so much for having me! It’s wonderful to be here and share! I’d have to say that people are surprised when they find out that by age 19 I’d

battled an eating disorder and endured two incidences of rape. But they’re downright shocked when they discover that I repressed that trauma for several years and weighed almost 50 pounds more than I do now.

It was these challenges in life that led you to develop your practice of experiential recycling. Can you tell us more about that? Yes. After the second time I was as-saulted I literally created this other per-son to live my life in an attempt to cope. I didn’t want anyone to know what happened to me and yet I couldn’t fig-ure out how to live as me. I left college, abandoned my dreams and started building another life. I pushed my in-tuitive gifts away as well. Other than the music I listened to, I changed vir-tually everything about myself and began gaining weight as depression formed. It was losing my extra weight years later that eventually triggered my memories to resurface. When it did I was faced with the dilemma of realizing my entire life was a lie. I was even married. I had to undo some of what I’d created, and then discover who I was so I could build an authentic life. I was only 26, but it was as exciting as it was overwhelm-ing because I felt finally free to uncover and be the real me. And calling back my spiritual gifts felt beyond amazing. It was like breathing oxygen into my soul! Experiential recycling came from my desire to heal quickly and move forward.

Page 25: August issue 2014

25 THEEDENMAGAZINE.COM ♥ August 2014

I had spent so many years not being me. I knew I couldn’t get them back and yet I didn’t want to spend another several years studying those years. As a spiri-tual person I knew there was a treasure trove of insight waiting to be revealed, but I still believed I could explore that within the context of living a wonderful new life.Plus I had an epiphany right away that revealed why I’d repressed my true self. I remembered telling myself after the second assault that it was just too much. I could no longer be me or have the life I was going to have. When I remembered telling myself that I felt so empowered! Because I knew in that mo-ment that I had simply followed an inner mandate. I was so fascinated by it, but also relieved. The mystery around re-pressing my trauma was solved. I knew I could continue with a similar problem solving approach to heal and discover more. Most significantly I knew right then that anytime we found ourselves blocked, stuck or sabotaging ourselves, we must be following some inner rule, belief and association. My curiosity and desire to transform my life was already planting the seeds for my future path without me even realizing it. That’s what is so magical about life. The key is to listen and set intentions with curiosity so your potential in every way is unlim-ited.

so how did your realization lead you to develop experiential recycling? I was so excited after having that epipha-ny. I knew I could heal quickly and rebuild

my life simultaneously, which was a gift I wanted to give myself. I was a nanny at the time and my boss gave me refer-rals for renown psychologists in Boston. After filling them in on what had hap-pened and what I’d already discovered, I asked for a 1-2 hour strategic session to give some tips and direction for the best way to move forward, but they wouldn’t. They believed I needed thera-py and that I was being naive about my ability to integrate this trauma. It was actually a powerful crossroads for me because I chose to trust my instincts and do the work myself. Often as spiri-tual people we must be willing to let go of things expert resources tell us, or at least be willing to explore what our in-stincts are calling us to question because there be something of incredibly value waiting for us within the conflict. I had no real idea what to do. All I knew was that without direction for the future, all I had was the past, which had already provid-ed me with a vital insight. That’s when I thought that recycling my previous expe-riences might give me the insight I need-ed to propel myself forward even faster. Plus I didn’t want to feel like any of my life was wasted. If I could make the past serve my present, then I’d also release emotional baggage at the same time.Experiential recycling is really just recy-cling your experiences with the intent of extracting insight that propels you for-ward emotionally, spiritually and physi-cally. The beauty is that it’s also incred-ibly efficient. It shifts people quickly and yields immediate results.

Page 26: August issue 2014

26 THEEDENMAGAZINE.COM ♥ August 2014

how does this practice expand personal awareness and spiritu-al consciousness? Imagine what it’s like to have explored various as-pects of your life, worked on each and yet still feel a sense of resis-tance, frustration or perhaps a lack of confidence. Now envision unlocking the information that connects all the dots so the mystery is lifted for you. It’s amazing! When you recycle your experiences, you gain unparalleled un-derstanding about you, which in turn increases your personal awareness. Once you’ve activated your awareness on this level, it grows. Plus I always cre-ate a strategy for shifting what needs to be adjusted in addition to being suc-cessful long term. Awareness is a vital part of being successful long term and I show you how to develop and strength-en it. Once you engage greater aware-ness, your consciousness is automati-cally heightened and the two continue

to develop no matter what you person-ally believe in or practice.

Are you saying that even those who are resistant to embracing spirituality develop spiritual consciousness? Yes! One of things I saw early on was how people can become distracted by words or ideas in such a way that they miss out on the insight. My priority is helping people identify what’s block-ing them from living lives they love and helping them shift so they can have the wonderful, fulfilling experiences they crave. Some of my clients are resis-tant to spiritual language while others are extremely spiritual people. I love the challenge of being able to com-municate in the ways that enable all of them to get it. My first book is a great example. It’s a very strategic handbook for women on attracting fab-ulous. fulfilling relationships entitled,

Page 27: August issue 2014

27 THEEDENMAGAZINE.COM ♥ August 2014

Thank Goodness You Dumped His Ass — Use Those Mr Wrongs to Lead You Straight to Mr. Right. That title isn’t a spiritual title, however I knew how desperately the women who read magazines like Cosmopolitan and Glamour need solid relationship advice, thus I chose a title that would appeal to them. Once inside they begin an enter-taining yet deep exploration of the self that teaches awareness. Since aware-ness is a crucial part of problem solving, shifting and employing a strategy for success as they go forward, even those who don’t necessarily believe they are spiritual, experience such a deeper level of awareness that it automatically expands their spiritual consciousness. Before they know it they are on the path and opening up. It’s awesome!

You love to share new perspectives. is there a thought you’d like to share in closing? I’d say that as spiritual people we must be very careful of the unconscious associations we may unknowingly make within our spiritual evolution that can hold us back. For example, we love our spiritual journey here on earth and understand it is a continuous process that never really ends. Additionally many of us have experienced great spiritual leaps through our hardships and challenges. However we must be very careful not associate spiritual growth with challenge because in want-ing to continue that evolution we could mistakenly continue attracting hard-ship. We can grow immensely through incredibly rewarding and beautiful

experiences as well. Similarly if we unknowingly project the never-ending process of evolution onto healing or shifting specific things in our lives, we may believe that achieving certain goals and desires has to take longer than it actually does, and delay our own growth.

In my work I am as efficient as possible because I know firsthand that we can either learn the hard way or another way. The way in which we learn is a choice more often than not. It’s much less about what happens to you and more about what you decide about you and your life after it happens. You can shift anything quickly and you’ll still gain all the insight. Nothing will be compro-mised. There will always be more to learn, so why not keep evolving within the sphere of an emotionally, spiritually and physically abundant life!

Intuition and Doubt

www.rashmikhilnani.comby Rashmi Khilnani

Following your intuition and the voice of your soul, you know very well requires: being silent, being alone, being with nature, and being still from time to time . . .

Unless you make time and space away from mind chatter, you will miss the subtlewhispering of your “all knowing” self from within you.

Page 29: August issue 2014

29 THEEDENMAGAZINE.COM ♥ August 2014

Babaji, as a teacher of the spiritual way and metaphysical wisdom of many different streams of esoteric understanding, I find that many of my students—and human beings in general—have great difficulty in discerning be-tween the voice of their mind and the subtle whisperings of their higher self or heart energy. Also, they struggle with their in-tuition and then have an even greater challenge trusting where the voice of inner knowingness is guiding them. Could you shed your brilliance on these issues of mind, heart- knowing and doubt?

Babaji: As you know my little ones, you are becoming more and more intuitive in these end days. Following your in-tuition and the voice of your soul, you know very well requires: being silent, being alone, being with nature, and be-ing still from time to time. If you ask, you shall receive, as the Bible tells you. Your mind, however, likes to fool you into expecting answers to come in a particular way, from a particular person, and so on. Once you have asked, you have to create a quiet space and give it time to allow the answer to come forth. Unless you make time and space away from mind chatter, you will miss the subtle whispering of your “all-knowing” self from within you.

Sometimes the answer could come as a picture, a symbol, or an idle remark from a close friend. As long as you have made an intentional effort to become acquainted with the energy of your mind and its favorite dialogues, and the en-ergy of your soul wisdom in its stillnessand subtlety, you will be able to deci-pher which voice belongs to which part of you. If there is doubt, this is the mind. Your intuition is a knowingness beyond doubt. As you know, Rashmiji, a little bit of intelligent doubting is always good on the spiritual path. This doubting canactually be discernment about being too naive and overly gullible in accept-ing the possible misinformation from false teachers (although even a false teacher will ultimately teach you some-thing, even if it is not to make the same mistake again).

Are you willing to learn? The doubting of your intuition and your knowing self, which is ultimately be-yond conditioning, authority, and logic—although it may contain elements of the above—is one of the many mind tricks used to trip you up on your journey back from Soul to Oversoul, as I would say: Atma to Paramatma. The answer that your knowing self gives you is oftentimes in conflict with the agenda of your mind. Your mind wishes to cling to the known, to control, to limi-tation, and to doubt and fear, in order to make you separate, isolated, and dis-connected.

Page 30: August issue 2014

The goal of your knowing self, your higher self, is to see a much larger pic-ture that possibly takes into consider-ation qualities inherited from past lives, the goals of your soul, and universal law. Once you become conscious of the nature of your mind and its thinking process, and you connect to the goals of your soul through meditation, prayer, silence, Jappa, and Kirtan, you will be well acquainted with the different colors, qualities and flavors of these two dis-tinctly different energies operating with-in you. Some choices can then be verysafely and automatically made within the realm of the mind. Other choices may require you to go deeper within and see the larger picture of where your soul’s journey is wanting to take you and how that fits in, or is in complete opposition with, the agenda of your personality self.

This is wisdom: becoming acquainted with the many colors and flavors op-erating within you. Be the Sakshi (the witness) when observing your inner at-mosphere. Let go of any judgments or resistance to acceptance of that which is operating within you. Watch it, accept it and, once you do this, you can come to a new level of choice based on a higher paradigm.

IF YOU CHOOSE TO, OF COURSE!If you continue what psychologists would call a form of schizoid behavior, where you are pretending to come from soul-motivation while actually the ego-self is ruling the roost, you will trigger karma, suffering, pain, disease, and early death. So if you really wish to experience an

aspect of your personality-self that your soul-self knows is harmful, then it is better to have a full experience of what-ever it is your mind hankers after, than to do a little of this and a little of that and create a total confusion of your in-ner energetic self, within and therefore without.

I note that you continue to feel that things happen to you from the outside, where-as your reality occurs from the within to the without, not from the without to the within. Let it be noted that if you do decide to indulge in the addictions and predispositions of the personality- self, which are in direct opposition with your soul goals, then you must take full re-sponsibility for the law of cause and effect as it becomes triggered in your life.

So often, I watch you indulging in what your soul knowingness knows to be illusionary and delusionary, feeling that somehow the divine is not watching; that somehow, you have managed to sneakaround the law of action-reaction. Come out of this delusion, dear ones!

Remember if your goal is kindness, and if your thought, word, and deed have an ultimate resonance of compassion, then your harvest is one of kindness and compassion. If your goal is within the narrow spectrum of me, mine, I, my family—to the exclusion of the broader perspective and oneness of all things—then you are choosing from a frequency of win/lose as opposed to win/win, or the higher good of all everywhere.

Page 31: August issue 2014

31 THEEDENMAGAZINE.COM ♥ August 2014

Choosing from a narrow perspective gives you a limited harvest. Choos-ing from the perspective of the highest good of all concerned at all times, will give you the harvest of synergy, syn-chronicity, ecstasy, moment-to-moment celebration, and peace within, no matter what is happening on the outside.

Here is an affirmation for you, my dear ones:

KNOW THAT YOU KNOW.I KNOW THAT I KNOW (this is not the knowing of the ego-self).

The knowing of the ego-self normally comes from the languageand the en-ergy of the mind. The knowing of the higher self, the I AMpresence, usually comes through the feeling body, and in some casesthrough what humans call the gut instinct. Following this knowing-body leads to spontaneous right action, effortless being, and integrity of thought, word, and deed, moment to moment.

The Nano Wand is a natural energy generating device. The energy cre-ated specifically rejuvenates molecular structures in all liquids. The molecular structure causes any liquid to become more hydratious, taste better and ex-tend shelf life. Placed in a fridge, the Nano Wand’s energy frequency per-meates the fridge; all liquids, meat and fruit will taste better and have ex-tended shelf life. The renewed molecu-lar chains are similar to those found in healthy natural spring water.

Like fruit and vegetables, the body slowly also loses molecular chains as we age. They can be re-energised at a molecular level to provide energy, us-ing the Nano Wand. They can be re-energised at a molecular level to provide energy, using the Nano Wand. The hydratious nature of water is impor-tant to wellness. Molecular structured water carries improved oxygen flow to the blood, assists in detoxification of free radicals, improves liver detoxifi-cation, and improves nutrient take up by the body. The natural energy of the wand improves sleep patterns when placed under the bed and improves the positive chi energy of the body when worn or carried in a bag.

Nano Wand benefits:Helps our body to obtain homeostasis condition

Help our body’s bio energetic field to source Zero Point EnergyRelieves us of pain, discomfort and support healingEnergizes the liquid we drink, and food we eat by increasing the potency.Neutralizes the harmful elements (energetically) from the liquid we drink, and the food we eat.Energizes creams, oils for better ab-sorption of nutrientsUnblocks and strengthen the flow of energy in our bodyStimulate bodily functions and strengthen immunity

To discharge energy blockages in our bodyTo clear the distortions in our Bio ener-getic fieldTo facilitate the body in healingTo energize the foods and liquids thereby increasing potencyOn pets and plants to supplement en-ergy deficiencyTo balance & energize the body imbal-ancesTo help others from aches, pains and other ailmentsTo energize the environment we live

Use the Nano Wand on face to rejuve-nate the skin. Use the Nano Wand to energize your food and water. Press and rotate at least 3times on all finger and toe tips to unblock energy block-ages and to open the meridians of the body

You may also stir liquids with the wand (with proper hygiene) or rotate it above your drinks or food to energize them. The energy created through the wand specifically rejuvenates molecular structures in liquids and foods. The molecular structure causes any liquid or food to become more hydrating, taste better and extend shelf life. You will feel the difference in the firm-ness of your skin within minutes of doing this. The skin feels tighter but in

reality it is the releasing of the facial muscles causing the skin to feel re-laxed, especially the cheek muscles.

The Zero Point Energy Wand may be used in any way you find beneficial. However, here are a few basic sug-gestions:Point the Wand and rotate it clockwise 3 times, then 9 times, and finish with 18 circular motions. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is AM- Wand made of?

Technically engineered natural minerals are fused and structurally bonded together at a molecular level, using several high heat fusion meth-ods. The combination of the minerals and the fusion techniques produces a catalytic conversion of energy, developing a long lasting natural resonance which has the ability to be transferred to any liquid, renewing the natural molecular chains.

How does AM-Wand work? The ‘beta’ rhythm frequency spins at an anti clockwise direction, and like other ‘energy waves’, it can ‘influence’ inert objects. For instance, a magnetic field can influence metal objects and an x-ray can influence film strip. Likewise, beta rhythms at the correct frequency and spin velocity will liquid.

What kind of minerals are in the AM- Wand? How many of them? The body of the AM-Wand houses 11 minerals locked into it by high heat fusion techniques and is technically engineered. Each mineral grain has its own individual shape and size that when combined with the other minerals, through a catalytic conversion, generates the spinning resonance we call chi energy.

How does the energy transfer to the water using the AM-Wand?

The AM-Wand energy spins into the liquid, counter clockwise, or the liquid can be poured over the AM-Wand where it ‘picks up’ the resonance. The resonance generated is similar to that which is found in the earth surrounding many healing spring waters of the world. At the moment, scientists can’t understand why liquids behave differently and positively in the energy field. Much research is now focused on this fact as 70% of our bodies are made from water and it’s important to nourish the body with the correct molecular structured water.

Is there any expiry date? What would be the effect after the expiry date?We expect the AM-Wand’s energy to last 30 years as recent tests on the original pre-production test units made five years ago show that they have increased in energy levels. Unlike a magnet, the resonance is not affected by the earth’s gravitational pull. When the AM-Wand fails, it will not have the ability to change the taste of any fruit or liquid.

Why Good Communication is the Foundation of Enduring True Friendship

Agreement or disagree-ment is much less impor-tant than good communi-cation as a way of enabling people to deeply under-stand each other, and, thereby, gradually develop the ability to feel inwardly close to each other, as caring good friends. Good communication, as the basis of true friendship, means that one does not keep one’s inner experi-ence to oneself alone, but, instead, actively reaches out to share one’s experi-ence, feelings, thoughts,

and needs with another person, as openly, honestly, directly, fully, constructively, and non-judgmentally, as possible. Good communication, as the basis of true and enduring friendship, also involves being open to considering another person’s view-point and needs, and constructively exploring differences that may arise between oneself and the other person, without trying to win an argument, but, rather, only exploring together into the truth of those issues, without blaming, abusing, or trying to intimidate and control each other, and without insisting that one is always totally “right” and the other person is always totally “wrong”.

Page 41: August issue 2014

41 THEEDENMAGAZINE.COM ♥ August 2014

Without that kind of good communica-tion, actively reaching out to share one’s heart and mind with another person, one’s inner being remains hidden, dis-connected, self-enclosed, so real under-standing and close, caring, feelings can-not grow, as a deepening friendship.

So many friendships and romantic re-lationships fail because people permit themselves to “grow apart”, or gradually drift apart, without ever taking responsi-bility to deeply reveal themselves to the other person, and deeply tune into the other person, empathically, and intuitive-ly, in order to directly experience what the other person means by the particu-lar words that they say, or write, “read-ing between the lines”, so to speak, or tuning into an even deeper level of an-other person’s being, beyond all defin-able words and images. That deepest level of empathic/intuitive communion is the Source from which all true love and friendship arises, and that is what enables true love and friendship to keep growing deeper, closer, and grand-er, instead of gradually drifting apart because of lack of good communication, producing lack of mutual understand-ing, and lack of inner closeness. What makes people true friends of each other, rather than strangers, most essentially, is not outer physical contact, shared activities, and superficial social inter-action, by themselves alone, but much more importantly, arises from develop-ment of substantial inner connection, by giving deeply, generously, unselfishly, of their energies to each other, and open-ly, honestly, directly, revealing their ac-

tual experience and true essential core being to one another.

Many relationships fail when individu-als seek to be heard and nurtured, but have not developed a sufficient ability to be unselfishly, empathically, tuned into, aware of, and caringly responsive to, the other person’s need to also be heard and nurtured, in terms of their par-ticular needs, feelings, and experiences, in a given moment. It takes a rather high level of unselfish caring, empathic sensi-tivity, and emotional maturity to be able to put aside one’s own needs and train of thought (or inner mental monologue) for a while, in order to empathically tune into what another person is feeling and need-ing, in a given moment, and respond in a way that enables the other person to feel truly heard and deeply nourished/nur-tured. Like a couples dance, both part-ners (or individuals in some other kind of relationship) need to learn how to flow together in empathic harmonious com-munion with one another (“in step” with each other’s dance movements, meta-phorically speaking), and, relatedly, also flow in harmonious attunement with the “dance music” of love, or caring friend-ship, that seeks to lead both of them into greater attunement with each other, as a related “we”, rather than a separate “you versus me.”

My own experience has shown me that if one is overly invested in preserving the ego’s sense of separate self-awareness, willful selfish demands, and inner mono-logue fantasy (being overly absorbed in

Page 42: August issue 2014

42 THEDENMAGAZINE.COM ♥ August 2014

one’s own train of thought), then it can become difficult to self-forgetfully tune into what another person is experienc-ing, feeling, and needing, regardless of whether or not the other person verbally communicates that, or which can also be empathically intuited, as a kind of non-verbal communication. I find that when I hold certain presumptions or precon-ceptions about another individual, and about my relationship with/to them, then those presumptions can function like a kind of overlay, opaque filter, or smoke-screen, that I, consciously or subcon-sciously, project upon them, preventing me from directly contacting their actual experiential states, because I am, in-stead, projecting my own preconcep-tions upon them.

I find that even negative feelings, such as, frustration, or even anger, can be expressed in a constructive, nonjudg-mental, non-blaming, open, sincerely caring, non-evasive, manner, which usually leads to greater understanding of each other, and of whatever issue has been blocking us from being in har-monious caring attunement with each other (preventing us from being “on the same page”, so to speak), and once those issues are constructively explored into and deeply understood, then they can be truly resolved and transcended (rather than merely being covered over, buried, or suppressed), enabling emo-tional closeness and caring feelings in the relationship to grow. I find that be-ing honest with myself, in terms of being willing to openly admit to myself when I am permitting previously unrecog-nized, non-constructive, insincere, ego

“games” to undermine the relationship, such as, evasiveness (talking or chat-tering without really saying anything), letting myself become emotionally shut down (engaging in emotional abandon-ment, which can function as a way of subtly trying to punish the other person, by withholding caring, affection, or at-tentive listening), giving in to wounded pride, as a resentful attitude, or adopting an overly selfishly demanding attitude. I find that when I am willing to acknowl-edge and let go of such egocentric ha-bitual patterns, then those obstructing factors that tend to block caring feelings and mutual understanding tend to fall away, naturally, effortlessly.

For a relationship to endure and grow, it is important for both individuals to be good friends in each other, willing to confide in each other, be there for each other emotionally as well as physically in times of need, and be willing to share difficult times, and patiently work through persistent problems in the relationship, rather than being quick to abandon the other person, and the relationship with them, when discomfort arises. That is what it means to be an unselfishly de-voted “friend for all seasons” rather than a selfishly fickle “fair-weather friend.” When I do not understand how to con-structively understand and resolve dis-agreements and other problems, in a relationship, then I find it helpful to invite the spirit of unselfish pure love to inter-pret the situation, which can enable me to see beyond, and not be myopically, exclusively, locked into, the ego’s inter-pretations of those situations, which are

Page 43: August issue 2014

often based on incorrect presumptions and non-constructive, unrealistic, self-ish wants.

I find that when I let go of the ego’s over-ly controlling, willful, prideful, selfish, narcissistically self- absorbed tenden-cies (as in the ancient Greek Myth story of Narcissus), that I find that the flow of love, or sincerely caring friendship, is no longer blocked, and then harmony and mutual empathic understanding arises automatically, effortlessly, spon-taneously. When those ego “coverings”, “filters”, “overlays”, or “smokescreens”, are removed, then there is no longer any blockage to good communication and deep empathic communion with each other. That reminds me of one of my favorite songs, “On a clear day, you can see forever….” Along these lines, I find the philosopher Martin Buber’s dis-tinction between I-Thou relationships (genuinely caring) and I-It relationships (egocentric, selfishly exploitative) rela-tionships helpful, as described in some of his writings, such as, “I and Thou”, and “The Way of Response.”

An Excerpt from A Journey to Oneness by Rasha

Why You Have Chosenthe Experience

You Think of as “Life”

Page 45: August issue 2014

45 THEEDENMAGAZINE.COM ♥ August 2014

You sit down in a fine-dining restaurant and slowly, you start to savor all the delecta-ble sounding descriptions on menu. It all sounds so fabu-lous, your mouth begins to wa-ter. As you zero in on your se-lection, you can almost taste it. Almost—but not quite. So it is with the spiritual journey. With all the years invested in reading book after book, and sitting through workshop af-ter workshop, you’ve got a solid sense of who you really Are. At least, in theory. Now, all that remains—is the actual taste of it.

The indescribable experience of the adventure of Self-discovery is the birth-right of each of us in these times. It’s no longer reserved for the one-in-a-million, tucked away in a cave in the Himalayas. The unmistakable feeling of Divine con-nectedness with our own sacred selves is an experience well within the reach of all of us. We’ve come to this lifetime not just to discover that truth—but to embody it. Not just to believe it—but to know it.

To help make that possible, there are

a few who have blazed a trail through the jungles of consciousness to light the way for the many who are still out there flying solo—without a co-pilot, or a compass, or a map. By sharing the truth of what it was actually like for them to make the spiritual journey, we start to get our bearings. And we discover that that we are very far from alone.

In A Journey to Oneness—the long-awaited sequel to the underground spiritual classic, Oneness—Divine Mes-senger, Rasha, takes us along on a seven-year odyssey through the laby-rinths of consciousness, as she shares the incredible story of her own spiritual journey. With the profound wisdom of Oneness (the Divine Presence often re-ferred to as “God”)as our guide, A Jour-ney to Oneness takes us for an authen-tic ride on the roller-coaster of spiritual transformation, and gives us the tools to radically transform our lives—and our world.

This vivid, literary tapestry chronicles a mind’s probing questions about what is actually happening as it slowly unravels and shifts into a higher octave of percep-tion—and documents the astounding answers as they emerge from within. As Oneness helps Rasha circumnavigate the potholes along the road to “free-dom,” the reader is given a vibrant new vision of the nature of humanness, and in-depth guide to discovering the Divin-ity within.

Page 46: August issue 2014

46 THEDENMAGAZINE.COM ♥ August 2014

Here’s an excerpt from A Journey to Oneness:

Oneness speaks:

“We are Oneness—not a form of iden-tity but rather a state of Beingness. We are the collective of consciousness of which you, the linear identity, are a part. We are not other than what you are, tak-en to the ultimate degree of expression. We are here as you are here, ever Pres-ent as the Essence of the identity you have come to think of as “you.”

Oneness describes the state of PresenceYou encompass the Divinity within—that which has always been and will always Be. Regardless of whether you are presently experiencing yourself in physical form, you cease to be a being with a linear orientation. Your focus of awareness transcends the cares and concerns of the world of mundane real-ity.

You find yourself to be Present as Awareness itself, traveling through a vista of perception, yet knowing that you are not in any way a part of this imagery. Your participation becomes marginal in the matters that consume the waking hours of others who are experiencing themselves within the context of linear reality. You recognize that you are “in the world yet not of the world” in every way imaginable.

Your reactions and interests become childlike. You observe with keen atten-

tion and with wonder the details of the world in which you experience aware-ness—as though you were watching a movie, a kaleidoscope of intrigue, as the threads of Divine intent weave their magic all around you. And in the same breath, you recognize yourself to be emotionally distanced from all of it. You know that none of it touches you at the level where you experience Presence. There, the perspective of the witness presides, the epitome of detachment walking through an ever-shifting land-scape of possibility.

Adding your own signature to the composite of Divine experience we think of as our worldEvery nuance of imagery adds refine-ment to the composite projection taken up as experience. By giving structure and definition to the limitless, simply by being who you Are in this moment in time, you add your own touch to the composite of Divine experience, per-ceived throughout all Creation.

There is no higher or lower. You are not in any way better than another, by vir-tue of the fact that you understand the dynamics of the process while most are blind to the truth of what transpires in the Here and Now you think of as your world. You are simply holding the note in the resonance of the collective that you have chosen to hold. That note may be loud or soft, shrill or soothing—it does not matter. Your vision of what you have chosen to contribute to the collective resonance of linear experience is what it is.

Page 47: August issue 2014

47 THEEDENMAGAZINE.COM ♥ August 2014

And as such, it adds its touch to the col-lective experience that is shared by ev-ery nuance of perception present—as each of you. This opportunity is the limitless palate of Creation that has been placed be-fore you. The canvas of infinite possi-bility cries out for your touch to give it definition—to give the moment in which Life perceives itself the structure of your own unique vision. That is why you have chosen to be here. You are here to add your own signature to the collective work you think of as your world—with full conscious awareness of it.

Why you have chosen the experience you think of as “life”You are here to know who you Are in every moment in which you draw breath through form. You are here to insure that the choices made in the name of the perspective that wears your identity are reflective of a clear vision. As such, they become the highest possible notes that might be added to a symphony in which all are equal players. This is what you have chosen to expe-rience in the nanosecond you think of as your life. That is why you have em-barked on this journey. And that is why, in this transitional place in the itinerary, you have chosen to exit the major thor-oughfares on which the world travels and forge your own trail. You are not alone. The world is ready to make this shift now. And masses of individuals will be making similar choices and hav-ing related kinds of experiences to ones

that seemed to be uniquely your own.”

Journey from Piece to Peace

Page 49: August issue 2014

49 THEEDENMAGAZINE.COM ♥ August 2014

It’s been a while I have been think-ing about the journey of our individual lives - the various courses it takes, the people we meet, the life we lead, the decisions we take so on and so forth. This article is about the journey of our life or rather the journey of a soul from its immortal phase to being a mortal being.

Every life takes birth when it feels rest-less due to sense of incompleteness. The journey evolves the soul to realize the completeness and rest in peace. Each life may appear quite different. Yet it is always about journey from piece to peace. Every life journey en-riches us with evolved set of virtues viz; patience, unconditional love, hu-mility, gratitude etc that can take num-ber of life times for the soul to internal-ize before it finally rests in peace.

AkAshAt patitam tOyam, yathA gachachhati sAgaram .... i.e. like every drop of water that falls from the sky, ultimately ends up in the ocean. This saying also points to a fact that every moment of our life we are progressing towards deeper and greater sense of completeness.

Why is the need to talk about it?The need is to ensure that we under-take the journey with unwavering faith, sincere studiousness and blissful bal-ance. This is important for making our journey more enjoyable, more enrich-ing and more effective in this lifetime. This article is just a gentle remainder to sensitize the soul towards its own nature which is evolving to the next level of its own DNA spiral.

What are the simple tips one can prac-tice for having a great journey and greater destination? To simplify our understanding of the tips, let us visualize an analogy … jour-ney of a rain drop moving towards the sea. AkAshAt patitam tOyam, yathA gachachhati sAgaram - like every drop of water that falls from the sky, ulti-mately ends up in the ocean.

Self Acceptance: Unconditional, non judgmental, realistic, detailed and de-cisive. Let us learn self acceptance through our analogy of rain water drop. The first step the drop takes is to identify itself as independent unit of H2O similarly the first step we need to take is to identify ourselves as an inde-pendent human being. Unconditional, whether it stays with cloud or not.

We are we, whether others support us or not. Non judgmental about where it is going to fall (lotus, pearl oyster or mud) about whether we succeed or fail. Realistic, Realizing it has a min-iscule mass with limited capacity to make a difference.

Page 50: August issue 2014

50 THEDENMAGAZINE.COM ♥ August 2014

Realizing we are just one human being with limited life span to make a differ-ence. Detailed understanding its own characteristic such as fluidity, ability to merge, mould and natural tendency to move towards slope to re-establish equality. Understanding our own char-acteristic such as adaptability, abil-ity to team up, transform and natural tendency to move towards where we would be valued more to re-establish equanimity. Decisive to explore its own identity independently even at the cost of falling down. To explore our own individuality even at the cost of alien-ation.

2. Breathing: Exhaling all the used up energy and pent up emotions, releas-ing and just letting it go and inhaling freshness full of new possibilities and untapped potential. Exhaling all the used up energy and pent up emo-tions, releasing and just letting it go - the drop lets itself go without having to know what would happen to it in ad-vance. Similarly we need to move with the flow of life in here and now. With-out having to know what will happen to us in advance. Inhaling freshness full of new possibilities and untapped po-tential. A drop has unlimited possibili-

ties to which it gives a fresh attempt. We too have untapped potential which call for fresh expressions. Focus, on forgiveness (self and oth-ers), goodness, lifelong learning and new virtues imbibed for future. Just like the drop which imbibes a new col-or and characteristic of what it mingles with.

Apply, the evolved way of life consis-tently. A drop mingles with the river it continues to flow with until the river merges into the sea.

5 .Celebrate, every success (for self and others). The drop continues to ap-ply the oceanic movement even after reaching the sea as current or wave, celebrating the success of reaching the sea by self and others.

Humility is the precondition for bliss. Bliss is the precondition for peace. Yes we are just a piece in the totality of the complete universe. Yet, we deserve to feel the peace of completeness within us. The way to feel this completeness starts through humility, accepting our-selves as small piece/particle of the universe.

Page 51: August issue 2014

51 THEEDENMAGAZINE.COM ♥ August 2014

The lightness gifted by this humility helps us feel the bliss of being. The blissful being naturally evolves to-wards the higher self. Witnessing this enriching journey in our inner world of-fers us peace. The journey goes on, the life moves on even after realizing the peace just like water cycle in na-ture wherein a droplet from the ocean again steams up to form a cloud. The beauty is what appears to be cyclical is actually evolving higher and higher like DNA spiral. When we experience this happening in our life that is when our inner peace becomes sustainable in every stage of life - whether we are steaming up or pouring down, going with the flow or just waving around.

Happy to share this life cycle at peace with you

Tips on How to Use Mantras to Accomplish Your Goals

54 THEDENMAGAZINE.COM ♥ August 2014

A lot of people think of mantras as just verbal things, which they are not. So what are they? Well, they are a personal ritual. An action that a person can ini-tiate to achieve something they want. This action could be a physical action, a sound, a syllable, word or group of words, mental or even spiritual. Mantras are believed to be capable of produc-ing a significant change in a person be-cause they can be used as a powerful driving force to aid a person realizes a certain purposeBasically they are a life style that helps in personal development. Personal ver-bal mantras involve repeating your goal and what you are going to do to achieve it over and over again. What this repeti-tion does is remind your brain of how important your goal is to you. A physi-cal mantra would be moving: like, re-peating a physical movement over and over again until it becomes ingrained in the brain. A spiritual one would be con-tinuous prayer for an outcome that you want. A mental one would be taking on a different way of thinking about things. It is up to you to choose what way would be best for you to practice.

But, the good thing is, you can use them for anything that you want to achieve in life: things like attaining personal goals, producing a significant transformation in your life style or even developing your psychic capabilities.

So how do you utilize mantras to attain your goals? Here are a few simple steps

you can use:

First: make a list of your goals. The thing is you must make clear your goals. What is it that you want to ac-complish? You need to be specific about what you want to accomplish. Could it be succeeding in getting your first half a million dollar by the age of 28, or is it you want to own your first house six years after you begin working

Second: write down the purpose for wanting to achieve your goals. Why do you want to have half a million by the age of 28? Is it because you want to realize a sense of financial well-be-ing? So you must find out the commit-ment that will aid drive you. This com-mitment will be your incentive to work harder towards attaining your goals.

Third: put your list somewhere you can see it every-day.So you need to put your list somewhere noticeable. This could be the mirror on your dressing table, wallet or purse.

Fourth: repeat your mantra. Repeat it 20 times out loud in the morn-ing, afternoon and before going to bed. And every time an obstacle comes in your way. Your mantra will work if you have listed strong enough motives that will force you to get back up and start working towards your goal again.

Page 55: August issue 2014

55 THEEDENMAGAZINE.COM ♥ August 2014

You must make the whole of your life your own personal mantra. Remember to be tenacious in supporting your man-tra by taking action: meaning do any little thing you can every-day that will take you nearer to your goal and great rewards are sure to follow.

One thing to remember is that for best results try to create your own mantra because it will then be personal which means that your unconscious mind will work even that much better towards achieving your gaols. A few samples of a verbal mantra to say out loud:

I have all the energy I need to accom-plish my goals. My life is a success-story.I am a winner-I win often, and I win big!

My imagination is now creating all the financial abundance that I desire.I let go of worry. I enjoy the natu-ral flow of this day; whatever it may bring.I want to open my mind, body, sprit to become ______ and understand why.I will do my best to take note of my true self.I can be who-ever I want to be.

As you can see they are easy to con-struct, so you can come up with your own ones Good Luck!

So you want to avoid failure?

Failure is a four-letter word. We cringe at the thought of it. The fear of it holds us back from pursuing our biggest dreams, but here’s the thing: there’s no such thing as failure. Life is not a game we are playing to win. Life just is, and what we choose to do with it is our business. We must get the ob-ligation out of life. In order to do this, we have to unlearn one thing. This “thing” has plagued us for centuries. It has victimized us, confused us and sent us down countless rabbit holes. So I’m going to put an end to it: there is no purpose to life.

You are free. There are no obliga-tions to fulfill. You don’t have to be a good person. You won’t be eternally condemned for being a “bad” person. The notion of purpose begins with a judgmental God that is always watch-ing. Over the years, many of us have rejected this notion. We prefer to put our faith in a loving God. Some of us take it one step further. We have un-derstood that there is no “God.” There is pure consciousness or divine mind. This consciousness is the power-

ful and intelligent energy that we call our “maker,” and it has no agenda. It simply expresses, and this expression takes the form of everything you see around you, including you. It does not know judgment or condemnation. It simply experiences and accepts. So, you are not in the hot seat. There is no ultimate goal, and there is no one to satisfy. Thus: no purpose (and no failure). I think this is very liberating, but many people find it terrifying. Think about it, though. The only time we search for purpose – or meaning - is when we are suffering. When we are hap-py and having fun, we don’t stop to think, “What is the meaning of this?” Who cares? It’s fun! Unfortunately, we haven’t figured out how not to suffer. It may not be a deep, traumatic suf-fering, but we feel a longing. We feel incomplete and unsatisfied with our lives because we have not embraced the entirety of our being. We are un-aware of our true nature. So, we begin to ask ourselves what is the point of being here?

Page 58: August issue 2014

56 THEDENMAGAZINE.COM ♥ August 2014

If you must have meaning in your life, if you need a purpose, let it be to re-connect on a conscious level with your God-self. Remember who you are. You are an expression of infinitely in-telligent consciousness. Even if you have forgotten, this energy is insep-arable from you. It is the very fabric of your being. You can embrace this, your true identity, and lead a wonder-ful and fulfilling life, free from the fear of failure. The caveat is that in order to do this you need to face your de-mons.

Demons are pieces of ourselves we have pushed away because of anger, fear, guilt or sadness. They are formed through our interpretations of events. As children, when we feel ashamed or when someone hurts us, we cannot manage the situation maturely. So we tuck that bad feeling away and look for external cues to direct us towards “ap-propriate” behavior.

As we grow older, that shame or hurt remains with us, and we find even better ways to avoid those unpleas-ant feelings. Eventually, we forget those feelings ever existed, and we go through life in a state of unconscious resistance, all the while wondering why we suffer.

We cannot reconnect to the God-self if we remain in this state. We must tran-scend it, and learn to accept every-thing about ourselves. When we do, we will experience our “failures” and “successes” as experiences and noth-

ing more. We cannot fail if we do not judge. What’s more, our focus will shift away from our personalities. After all, the personality is the thing we project into the world to attract praise and ac-ceptance. If we fully accept ourselves, we will no longer place such a high value on others’ opinions. Instead, we will be free to focus on another aspect of ourselves: the God-self.

I recently taught a workshop where one of the students had an enlighten-ing experience. She had had a trau-matic event as a child. A person she loved was in danger and asked her to go get help. She was very young and didn’t know what to do. Frozen in fear, she did nothing; and she felt terrible guilt as a result. In her young mind, she was selfish. Now, this student was such a giving person. Everyone thought of her as kind and generous. However, we were doing an exercise that involved thinking of someone who aggravates you and then exploring the ways in which you express these ag-gravating qualities. Well, the first qual-ity on this student’s list was selfish-ness, and she could not understand it. She told me that she was always the most giving person. She was never selfish. I had her close her eyes and see herself in a situation where she was giving. She did so, and I asked her what she was feeling in that situa-tion. Not surprisingly, she was not feel-ing good. I asked her to think of the first time she felt this way, and that’s when we arrived at the story of her as a young girl.

Page 59: August issue 2014

The amazing thing about this story is that the student didn’t know she felt that way about herself. Her belief that she was selfish was like a demon deep within her driving her to give and give until she had nothing left. Until that moment she had avoided this de-mon, but when she found the courage to look within, what she found was not a demon at all, but a beautiful little girl who was calling out for her love and appreciation. It was a wonderful heal-ing.

So, our “demons” are simply pieces of ourselves that are calling out to us, but they use the language of shame, fear and guilt to get our attention. Thus, we rarely stop to listen. Instead, we cope with those feelings by cultivating a wonderful personality, by seeking praise and recognition, and by creat-ing a storyline that implies purpose and thus failure if we do not fulfill that purpose.

Rather than walking this unfulfilling and exhausting path, why not try go-ing within? Do not seek success. Seek knowing. Know yourself. Listen to your “demons.” Uncover your faulty belief systems and let them go. Re-unite with your true self. This could be the greatest adventure of your life. God is waiting.

In 1931, legend has it that movie mag-nate Jack Warner found himself with a temperamental star on his hands. Dur-ing the filming of Public Enemy Number One, James Cagney found his favorite wool cap destroyed by “dirty rats” that had inhabited his dressing room. Cagney stormed Warner’s office and fumed, “Ev-eryone in the world knows the best exter-minator of rats is the cat! You ain’t seeing me back here ‘till I hear some meowing!” The same day, Warner paid a visit to the local animal shelter and returned to the studio—with a limousine full of cats. He placed a tin can in his office he called the “kitty kitty” to collect donations for the new studio “employees.”

Today most of Tinseltown’s original stars have made their farewell performances, but the descendants of Warner’s stu-dio cats still roam the sets. In 1984, a

group of studio employees on the War-ner Brothers backlot decided something had to be done for the growing number of homeless cats in their workplace. Cats At The Studios (C.A.T.S. Inc.) was born: a nonprofit organization whose caregivers have picked up where Warner left off. For the past thirty years, C.A.T.S. Inc. has ensured that all cats living in the studio backlots are spayed and neutered, vacci-nated, provided with any needed medical care, and given fresh food and water dai-ly. All of the tame cats found on the back-lot have been adopted into new homes.

After thirty years of caring for the cats of the studio system, C.A.T.S. Inc. has grown far beyond its original group of founders—and expanded its early man-date. Because of our success with the cats of the studio lots,

C.A.T.S. Inc. is now able to dedicate our resources to all the cats and kittens of Los Angeles, offering rescue, care, and adop-tion to cats and kittens from all corners of the city, in all situations and places. We rely solely on our adoption fees and donations from the public to continue the hard work of rescuing all the cats of Los Angeles that need help.

What We Do Ultimately, what we do is CARE.

Cats at the Studios, Inc., is a non-profit rescue organization comprised entirely of volunteers. We are dedicated to nur-turing, neutering & spaying, and finding homes for abandoned cats and kittens. The shelters are overflowing with unwant-ed pets that are euthanized, and many of our cats are rescued on their last days at the shelter. Sometimes people will find stray or injured cats and contact us to help. Every cat that comes into our care is welcomed with open arms. Our kitties are all fostered in private homes by vol-unteers. They eat premium quality food, get excellent veterinary care, and of course receive lots of love! Un-weaned kittens are bottle-fed around the clock, and foster parents encounter many chal-lenges along with much joy until the babies are past the danger zone. In an effort to curb the rapidly increasing num-ber of newborns left to the streets, our rescued kittens are neutered & spayed be-fore being placed in their forever homes. We dedicate a lot of time and oftentimes our own money while our cats await adoption. Because of our committed team of animal-loving volunteers, Cats at the Studios is able to apply all of its limited

financial resources directly towards the care of rescued kittens & cats. Neverthe-less, because of the ongoing expense of vaccinations, neutering & spaying, and additional medical care, we are in need of donations at all times. There are many ways you can help us. One of the fast-est ways to help is to make a tax deduct-ible donation online by using the PayPal secure server.
