The Auditori is a modern building of 42.000 square metres, opened on 22nd March of 1999.
It’s in Glòries, near of the three widest and longest avenues in Barcelona -Diagonal, Gran Via and Meridiana- and next to the National Theatre of Catalonia.

The Architect
José Rafael Moneo Vallés was born in Tudela (Navarre) in 1937. He studied at the Madrid School of Architecture.
He has received numerous distinctions, including the Pritzker Prize for Architecture in 1996 and the Gold Medal of the Royal Institute of British Architects in 2003.
