Audience Research Analysis This data shows that 60% of the people I asked read magazines slightly often. I only asked 10 people so this is a small sample however 60% is still the majority of the people, so if I increased the sample size that would show that 60% or more read magazines slightly often.

Audience Research Analysis

This data shows that 60% of the people I asked read magazines slightly often. I only asked 10 people so this is a small sample however 60% is still the majority of the people, so if I increased the sample size that would show that 60% or more read magazines slightly often.

This data shows that 60% of the people that I asked, rarely ever buy magazines. This is very interesting because 60% also said that they read magazines slightly often. This must mean that they read magazines in some other way. Maybe they read them online, or read some that their friends have bought. This means that I should consider making my magazine a multi-platform magazine, in an attempt to get more people to read my magazine e.g. it could become an online magazine.

This is also a very important piece of data that I have collected from my survey, because this will affect the decision I make about the price of my magazine. There were a lot of different answers in this question, which will make my decision harder. The most popular answer for ‘What is the maximum price you would pay for a music magazine?’ was £2.00-£2.99, 40% of people chose this. This means that I should aim to price my magazine within that range, however I need to focus on profit, so I may need to make the price slightly higher. Possibly between the £3.00-£3.99 price range.
