Who would be the audience for your media product?

AUDIENCE PROFILE

20 year old female

I am daring, curious female who enjoys

watching horror’s as they take me out of my comfort zone and test my willingness as I am

unaware of the narrative behind the

film – emphasising the fear factor.

These are brands associated with my target audience. They are of a

middle class background and like to spend money on fashion to ensure

that they wear the trends of the season.

Although my target market shop in ‘high street’ stores

they aspire to purchase and wear products from bespoke designers which is associated

with the ‘upper classes’

I am conscious about my appearance and always spend

time socialising with friends and visiting restaurants and cinemas –

with my favourite genre being horror as it makes me feel vulnerable and frightened.

I am currently studying a ‘fashion and Italian degree’ as my love is fashion I want to work as a fashion buyer for large retail and designer stores which will allow me to fulfil my dreams working

within the fashion industry

I also love spending time with my family and holding social events where I can

freely socialise with those I love.

These brands are associated with my male target market. As they

are ‘middle class’ they have disposable income which they can

afford to purchase ‘high-street’ brands.

My target market (middle class) aspires to be apart of the

‘upper class’ which means they aspire to wear high-end

designer products to stand out compared to the rest of friends

and colleges.

My target market enjoys playing sport and going to the gym

to work on their physique. They also

enjoy socialising with friends on a regular basis and attending

activities like cinemas and going to restaurants.

My aspirational job is to work a paparazzi on red

carpet events as I am obsessed with celebrity

lifestyle and want to fulfil my passion of photography at a high competitve level.

I have recently finished sixth form where I was able to further my education whilst

studying a photography and media A level. This reassured me that I wanted to

working in the media as a living.

I am very family orientated and spend time with my family

when I get the chance – we generally have diner

together and watch movies.
