To activate AquaReturn, simply turn on, then off, thehot-water or mixer tap for the washbasin whereAquaReturn is installed. The appliance has amechanism that stops water flowing from the tapuntil it has reached a temperature of 35.5ºC. Once thewater is hot enough, a beep will tell you that hot wateris now available from any of the taps in the bathroom.

(Note: if the hot-water tap is turned on and left open, AquaReturn willwork in exactly the same way, meaning that water will only flow fromthe tap once it has reached the right temperature.)

HOW IT WORKS

When the hot-water tap is turned on, AquaReturnrecirculates the unheated water back to where itshould be, i.e., in the cold-water pipe.

Using the existing hot- and cold-water pipes in yourhome, AquaReturn creates a circuit so that water thatwould have been wasted -because it is not hotenough- is returned to the boiler. This recirculatedwater is gradually heated up until it reaches the righttemperature.

AquaReturn is very easily installed under thewashbasin, where it remains discreetly out of sightbut is positioned close to an electrical socket. Oncethe water in the circuit -from the boiler to the bathroomand to the washbasin hot-water tap- has reached thedesired temperature, hot water becomes availablefrom all the taps in the bathroom.
