Pearl Rating System (PRS)The Pearl Rating System promotes the development of sustainable buildings and neighbourhoods. Like other green building rating systems, it specifies minimum requirements while also recommending and recognising voluntary efforts to exceed these. The Pearl Community Rating System (PCRS) is specific to masterplans, the Pearl Building Rating System (PBRS) is specific to new buildings; and the Pearl Villa Rating System (PVRS) is specific to new villas.
Villa Application CourseThe Villa Application Course is one day. The aim is to certify attendees as PVRS Professionals. All Estidama villa projects will have to have a PVRS Professional of their team.
The current course schedule for Applying the Pearl Villa Rating System is below. The course costs AED 500
Building Application CourseThe Building Application course is two days. The aim is to prepare attendees for Pearl Qualified Professionals (PQP) certification. All Building projects pursuing an Estidama rating will have to have one PQP on their design team.
The current course schedule for Applying the Pearl Building Rating System is below. The course costs AED 1000.
EstidamaEstidama, which means ‘sustainability‘ in Arabic, is an initiative developed to achieve the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan’s dream to guide Abu Dhabi towards a more sustainable Emirate.
