Most Frequently Asked Questions What do I need to do to secure my wedding date at the Gantt Center? A 50% deposit of the package cost is required to secure the venue for your wedding day with the remaining balance of package cost and all amenities costs are due 30 days prior to your wedding date. Are there any additional costs? Yes, it is the Gantt Center’s policy to have a minimum of (2) security officers, and (2) janitorial staff, and (1) event attendant during events. The number of staff may increase depending on the number of expected guests and event area. All services are booked 1 hour before event start time, the duration of the event, and two hours after event ends.

Access to museum galleries - $5 per person Alcoholic beverage services Audio / visual technician and equipment Parking vouchers for guests - $5 per person White leather lounge set (2 couches, 1 love seat, 2 ottomans) - $250.00 White Resin folding chairs ($3 per chair) Delivery fee for additional furniture/Equipment - $90.00 Additional Event Set-up in lieu of a “day-of” coordinator - $750.00
Facility rental rates during holidays are an additional 25% of the facility rental cost. Security and Janitorial rates are time and a half per hour. Can I provide my own food and beverage? No, the Gantt Center has an Approved/Preferred Caterer’s list. There is a $450.00 fee to use an outside caterer. The Gantt Center carries all ABC permits and is the exclusive supplier of alcoholic beverages for all events. Any alcoholic beverages served at the Gantt Center must be purchased through the Gantt Center. Any outside alcohol must be seized and the client or guest responsible may be asked to vacate the facility. What are the time restrictions? All facility rental rates are based on a (4) hour maximum time frame for receptions and (5) hour maximum for a ceremony & reception. Grand Lobby & Mezzanine bookings must start after 5pm when the museum is closed. We recommend all terrace ceremonies start at or after 6pm, during sunset. Parking: Parking during events is $5 with Gantt Center validation at The Duke Energy parking garage
(101 W. Stonewall St.) or The Green (435 S. Tryon St.)
