From the start of the music video you can tell it is going to be a pop music video as it shows the artists which is ‘Little Mix’. They produce music video and songs for pop which is why people will tell straight away it is going to be a pop music video. There is also different multiple shits of people at prom which shows how it is pop because it targets their age range which is around 12- late 20s.

This close up one of the artists show how the audience can relate to the video because they can see the artists individually which means that the audience can love each one and have a fan moment. Pop artists does this a lot as fans love this genre the most so they want to make sure that the audience loves them and doesn’t forget them.

Pop music targets the audience age of at least 12- 26, this mid shot shows how they relate to the audience in this music video because the song is set as if it is at prom showing how they have been turned down by dates. All girls and guys can relate to this song as that is what happens at prom. Artists show their music as a message that they know how people feel. Straight from the beginning you can tell that is mostly going to be pop song as it shows the singers in the song and two of them are pop singers ‘Jessie j and Ariana Grande’ you can also tell it is going to be a pop song because of the colour of the text in the music video. if this music video was going to be for a different genre for example if it was more R&B or rock you would tell because the text wouldn’t be so bold and they would use a dark colour like black. The reason why I say mostly pop is because it shows the name ‘Nicki’ who is a

rapper who fits mostly with R&B which shows how this music video is a contrast between pop and R&B which gets the audience more excited as it is a collaboration.

The costumes in this music video shows once again that it is going to be a pop music because the artists are wearing tight clothing and that is what you expect to see the artists of pop wear. Tight music clothing. In a way it shows the audience how to be confidence and to not be afraid to show their feelings. The colours once again show how it a music video with the brightness of the footage and the colour of their clothes and the car as well. Even though that it is a pink car it kind of brings the R&B in the music video straight

away because you expect to see in R&B music videos nice fancy cars and in this one there are different less fancy cars like the yellow taxi and then in the middle there is the pink fancy car which brings out the glamour lifestyle in these artists.

There is once again more pop shown in this videos with the colours of pink and other bright colours. Tight fitting and glamour lifestyle. Pop artists have this in all their music videos as it is what you expect from all these artists.

R&B fit in so well with Pop with the style that they show. Nicki Minaj is part pop and part R&B with her rapping and she brings to this music both her talents to this music video. She brings her rapping to the song and with the music video she brings her pop. This music video shows her pop with her style of dress. She has her tight skirt on and the dancers behind her is wearing tight clothes as well. Which is what we expect from pop artists. There is also
