PROFILE
Being an International Baccalaureate (IB) graduate taught the necessity of the following skills: time management, organization, communication, problem solving, and collaborating with others in order to achieve a goal. This allowed the maximizing the day. The Eagle Scout Project was the construction of 150 foot hiking trail on Palomar Mountain. The angle of the mountain slope meant that physical labour was the only possible way to constructing the trail. The plan for the project had to take into account: fundraising, recruiting volunteers, solve problems, manage the work schedule, along with organizing meal and water drop offs. The Eagle Scout Project further development in communication, organization, time management, collaboration, and problem solving skills.

EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE
Quartermaster, National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) 2009-2010
To provide food, water, and materials to 60 staff and scouts for the week long NYLT course to keep track of how much of our supplies are being used ordering more when necessary.
Quartermaster, National Jamboree Troop San Diego 2010
Manage the food prep schedule for the troop of 36 scouts and 4 adult leaders. Collect and properly dispose of food for the troop. Request cleaning and or fuel for the troop during the 10 days of National Jamboree.
Head Quartermaster, National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) 2011
Supervised and delegated responsibilities to the Quartermaster staff. Guaranteed flow of resources and organized a menu according to a budget and other restrictions. Also was responsible for scheduling meal drop offs, serving approximately 60 scouts and staff throughout the week.
Quartermaster, Western Region World Scout Jamboree Crew 2011
Was in charge of campsite design, set-up and tear down for a crew of 36 scouts and 4 adult leaders, at the World Scout Jamboree. In charge of organizing the schedule of who was purchasing, and preparing meals, while keeping the crew on budget.
Assistant Scoutmaster, Boy Scout Troop 363 2013
Provide support for the youth leadership in the form of teaching classes in all skill sets. Giving ideas and or suggestions on how to resolve issues. For a Troop that has 25 active members. Participated in board of reviews, which are how you advance in rank in the Boy Scouts of America. Also In event of emergency I must be prepared to provide first aid.

Basic duties were to deal Texas Hold’em poker tournament and Cash games. Omaha Cash games were also part of my responsibilities. Along with that the Dealers were responsible to breaking down and organizing the Card room.

INTERESTS
Backpacking and traveling is important to me it’s my way of experiencing the world that surrounds me. When it comes to sports my preference are team or group based sports such Baseball, Airsoft, or football participating and coordinating with others to achieve a mutual goal provides me with a great sense of pride and achievement. I also like to solve problems and try new things or ideas in an attempt to understand more of the world surrounding me. I am an explorer, a team member, and thinker these characteristics are how I would define myself.
