Air Todo How many times have we as teachers been busy running errands and a thought pops into our head that we needed to remember? How many times have we been at home and came across a webpage or some other important type of information that we just don’t have the time to sit down and organize. We all could use some type of easy to use “thought bubble” that would follow us around during those times we wish we wanted to remind ourselves of something for later. Air Todo is a simple todo management software application. It is designed for the Mac, iPhone, and iPad and couldn’t be easier to use. I have been using Air Todo for a few months now, and it is quick, easy, and most importantly, it is very reliable. Air Todo can be found at the Mac App Store for $1.99 and also on iTunes as a universal app $0.99. Setting up Air To is as simple as setting up an account with an email address and password. This will be your login information for both OS and iOS devices. The menu options are very simple as well. Badge Count: Tells us how many messages we have Auto Sync: Gives Air Todo permission to auto connect with the cloud server and download the latest information Start At Login: Allows Air Todo to start when we turn on our Mac’s Notification: When we have a Todo, a number will pop up letting us know that something is pending for us Air Todo will install a notification icon on the top of our desktop and when we have published our notifications, a number will appear next to a checkbox letting us know we have some reminders. This is also the same for the iPhone and iPad icons. Double clicking on the Air Todo icon will open a pop up window where we can input our Todo. This information will be automatically synced to the cloud server and bounce down to your other devices. Once your task is inputted, Air Todo will give you a screen with all of your tasks organized and fully synced up with your partnering devices. For any teacher, keeping their last minute thoughts organized is the key to a successful day. Very often, right before going to sleep, I will have many ideas that hit me for the following day. Having a program like Air Todo has helped me keep track of them all. I simply keep my iPad by my bed each night and when I get up and get to school, all of my ideas are waiting for me on my Mac. For the price, this Air Todo is one of the best gems of out there.
