WELCOME TO “BUILDING A WEBSITE” AimHigher, 1 st April 2009 [email protected]

description

Creating a blog, designed for an Aim Higher session, used with 10-15 year olds. The 15 year olds, unsurprisingly, got to the end, whereas the younger ones didn't. The students loved it, and can go away with a real 'product' and learn more.

Blogs

A reverse diary (most recent entry first) “Many blogs provide commentary or news

on a particular subject; others function as more personal online diaries. A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, Web pages, and other media related to its topic. The ability for readers to leave comments in an interactive format is an important part of many blogs.” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blog
