Step 1 – Input Email AddressA single (or multiple) email addresses can be entered with the use of semi-colons. You can now also enter Metro PCS email addresses.

e.g. [email protected];[email protected]

The purpose of this is to alert the submitter (and/or any other user) the status of the Job.

Once the job is submitted, all individuals listed in the email submission will receive regular automated email updates on the progress of the job.

Selecting “+ Add a Support Center Team Member” will allow you to copy a NUSC support engineer if required.

There are several stages in the process.

Selecting “Notify At Each Stage” will ensure that the listed email addresses will be alerted to them all as the job progresses.

If the user does not select this option, then the standard 3 x emails will be sent. These are:

1. Job ID Created.2. Spotlight Investigation Task Created.3. KPI Report Created.

Step 2 – Notify At Each Stage

Adding files to be uploaded is achieved through the browse file dialogue. Once this button is selected a browser will appear with the default location as the users desktop.

Users can add files (ZIP/RAR/*.log/*.trp) from desktop or network locations but it should be noted that optimum upload performance can only be achieved from the users local desktop.

When the “Browse” button appears grey this indicates that you must install the latest version of Java.

Step 3 – Adding Files For Upload

The validation logic runs automatically and the client will establish/report if the selected files are corrupt.

If the selected file names are incorrect, the dialogue window (pictured left) will appear allowing the user to easily and quickly rename the files.

Step 4 – Validation Of Selected Files

Page 10: Actix Data Upload

Once the files are selected (ZIP/RAR/*.log/*.trp) they will appear in the selected files. ** Please ensure that all files to be uploaded are compressed. Not doing so will result in extended upload times. **

The client will automatically validate the files to ensure that none are corrupt and that all log files within the ZIP and RAR files are named correctly.

Step 5 – Selected Files Are Added

Step 6 – Region/Market Selection

Region, Market, Cluster, Sub-Cluster, Scope, Pre-Launch/Post-Launch, Drive Iteration and Venue/Stationary Drive data will be read from the drive test log files and will automatically be populated in the selections.

Please ensure that these selections are verified before submitting the job.

Ad-hoc settings must be selected in the KPI report

Selection of the “Single Site/Infill Site” option will allow the user to input the name(s) of the sites being driven.

This data will be appended to the name of the Task ID and KPI report to clearly distinguish from cluster/market drives.

You can also select which report you need, UMTS ER Report or LTE Acceptance Report.

Step 7 – Flexible UE’s & Ad-HocStep 8 – Single Site/ Infill Site

Page 13: Actix Data Upload

Step 2– Validate source data basesThe previously mentioned file (date_UMTS.csv) is created from data that is stored in multiple locations. If this file is inaccurate, then it may be due to an error in the source data. The following databases should be validated before contacting the appropriate NUSC POC. OSS Asset (4 Regional Projects)

– Central-UMTS

– West-UMTS

– NorthEast-UMTS

– South-UMTS InSite

The following page indicates the source DB and the time data is pulled for the UMTS .csv. Data is generally pulled from the 2G/3G OSS after the local maintenance window (6:00 AM).

Actix CellRef Validation Process

Page 14: Actix Data Upload

Step 9 – Submit

Please ensure that all sites and cells have been fully updated in the necessary databases 24 hrs prior to data upload. Failure to do so will result in missing cells with the cellref file.

The TEMS (.trp) file should be less than 40 MB. Files which are bigger than 40 MB will likely to be failed and slow down the process to get the Task ID.

Please upload only zip files. Multiple log files can be zipped into a single sip file but each zip file has to be less than 1 GB. Multiple zip files can be submitted in a single job.

ActixOne currently supports up to TI (TEMS Investigation) 15.2 (10/30/13)

“Submit” will start the upload process where a real time upload dialogue will be displayed to visualize progress.

Page 15: Actix Data Upload

Step 10 – Duplicate Job SubmissionAfter submission, the client will perform a check to see if a job with the same selected criteria already exists within the DB.

If the client identifies another job it will display this information with the Job Id and the email address of the user who submitted this.

By clicking on the Job Id the user will be redirected to the information page regarding this job.

By clicking on the email address of the previous submitter the user will launch a new email to that individual.

If the user chooses to proceed with the job submission, the process will continue normally and the time of submission will be appended to the task name to uniquely identify this task.

Step 11 – File Upload Progress

After submission the file upload progress dialogue window (displayed left) will appear.

** To ensure satisfactory completion of the upload, it is

important to maintain this window. Navigating away from

or closing this window will result in the failure of the

upload and Job **

When using Internet Explorer there may be an issue refreshing the upload window once another window has been overlaid. This is due to the single threaded nature of IE which is not observed in Firefox.

Please do not close the window or kill the session as the upload is still ongoing in the background.
