ABOUT TICT Techno International Newt Town

(formerly known as Techno India College

of Technology) started its journey in the

year of 2005. The college is the logical

development and the rational conclusion

of the mission and the vision of the

Techno India Group which is one of the

largest knowledge management groups in

India.

We believe that education is the

manifestation of the perfection already in

man. We have tried to build a tuneful

balance between India’s golden past and

her desired destiny to be a super-power in

the post -modern age.

The overall placement record has been

encouraging and it keeps a close relation

with the corporate world. The college

always tries to maintain a harmonious

balance between the various wings of the

academic sections. The administration

Engineering is a methodical mechanism to transform scientific knowledge

into innovative concepts for the design of new systems thereby leading to

cutting-edge technologies, equipment/ instruments, and software tools. Most

of the household appliances, which have become an indispensable part of

our daily lives, are the endowments of science. One can easily realize the

tremendous impact of engineering on human lives through traditional and

novel methods of transportation, agriculture, communication, medical

diagnostics, resource development and utilization, etc to name a few. Our

objective is to groom the young students through course materials and practical

training.

The department is fortunate to have the association of Professor D. Raychoudhuri, an Ex – Professor of

Department of Electronic Science, Calcutta University. His vast experience of about 40 years in hands-on

experimentation and theories of Microprocessor/ Microcontroller, Analog & Digital Electronics bring

confidence among students & young faculty member and create excellent academic ambience. His noble Advise

always paves the right direction of this department.

Professor P. K. Ghosh has more than 25 years of teaching & research experience in various institutions,

reviewer of many International journals of repute, authored several books. In addition to his teaching

assignments, he mentors the department by feeding documentation process for NBA/ NAAC certifications, etc.

His thoughtful advice enrich the department. He helps students in innovative project designs, attempts to

discover talents and skills the students have.

Prof. Manabendra Maiti has experience of about 20 years in teaching and researches. He successfully handled

projects from DRDO in the area of Radar communication. His methodical approach in all round academic

activities and events helps the department to grow steadily. He guides few research students and inspires the

faculty & staff members to publish articles in reputed journals along with student’s involvement. The department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) was established in the year 2005 to

impart quality Under Graduate (UG) education. The department has a rich tradition of teaching and research

and is widely recognized to be a pioneer in Electronics and Communication Engineering education in India.

The department strives for Excellency in electronics education and research in India. Through a mixture of

academic instruction and personal, hands-on exploration, students learn how to lead and meet global challenges

of this times.

The state-of-the-art laboratory facilities are offered in the following labs. With the growth of the department in

respect of intake of students, faculty, teaching and non-teaching staff, the authority plans to start Post Graduate

& Research programs in pioneer areas of Electronics and Communication Engineering. The ECE department

is one of the most demanding departments by the students in the States of West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, and

North – East and attracts top ranking students qualifying in the Engineering Entrance Examination. The students

of the department have been consistently qualifying in national level competitive examinations such as GATE,

etc. Our students pursue post graduate and doctoral studies not only in the top-rated Indian Universities but in

abroad also.
