Q4. What have you learned from your

audience feedback?

For my A2 Media coursework I produced a teaser trailer of the romance genre. My planned target audience was both male

and female in the 16 – 50 age range.

I used different ways to see what my audience thought of my finished product.

The first step I took in getting together feedback from my audience was showing it to 2 people, male and female, within my target audience age.

Even though my product was shown to a small audience, they were at the youngest and oldest age that I required of my target audience.

From their reaction and comments about my finished product, I then uploaded it to www.youtube.com where it can be viewed around the world.

As you can see my trailer has already had 1 rating of 5 stars, showing that so far audience feedback on my product has been positive.

I have also had 23 viewings of my trailer since I uploaded it.

The next idea I had to collect audience feedback was to upload the trailer to my A2 Coursework blog and get people of my target audience to comment on my trailer and 2 ancillary tasks.

Instead of asking specific questions I asked people to comment on things they liked, didn’t like and if they would change anything .

The answer to the question...From uploading my trailer onto YouTube and

the small success it has had, what I have learned from my audience feedback is that my product has done better than I expected it would.

People said they wouldn’t change anything about it and liked what I had already done. I have achieved more feedback than I expected from my target audience and I am extremely pleased with it and my product.
