Italiana Membrane S.p.A. was established in 1988 and has

been increasingly successful in its sales activity becoming one of

the main manufacturers in the field of waterproofing products

for building, not only in Italy but also on an international scale.

The constant technological development of the manufacturing

lines has led Italiana Membrane to extend its range of prod-

ucts. Now it includes all kinds of APP and SBS bitumen

modified membranes, thermal insulation materials laminat-

ed to waterproofing membranes and bituminous shingles.

Italiana Membrane's premises are at Pasiano (Porde-

none) and occupy an area of 50,000 m2 of which about

25,000 are covered.

Approx. 65% of the total produced quantities is

absorbed by the Italian market while the remaining

35% is exported to most of the European coun-

tr ies, Middle East, Far East, Afr ica, USA and

Canada.

Besides carefully checking the raw materials used (bitumens, polymers, carri-

performances, etc., also after thermal ageing.

The manufacturing lines of Italiana Membrane are extremely adaptable and the technical staff consists of experienced

technicians. This enables us to produce a very wide range of products utilising many different carriers and compounds

with a variety of finishes.

SCUDOELAST is a very high quality SBS (styrenebutadiene styrene) polymer bitumen modifiedmembrane.It is available with the following reinforcements:

• spunbond non-woven polyester (type FCTR180). Other weights are available on request.

• glass fibre (type V).

The Mineral versions are surfaced with slate chipsavailable in different colours (natural grey, red,green, brown and white).

Use: on civil and industrial decks subjected tostrong mechanical stresses, e.g. tensile structures,metal deckings, pre-fabricated decks and/or when-ever operation temperatures down to -25 °C arerequired. The Mineral version is surfaced with natural greyslate chips. Other colours (red, green, brown andwhite) are available on request.

The product has obtained the I.T.C. TechnicalApproval Certificate No. 609/03 dated 22/09/03.

Use: on civil and industrial decks subjected tostrong mechanical stresses, with operation tem-peratures down to -25 °C, also in single layerapplications.

SCUDOTENE FOUND

This product is reinforced with glass fibre.The top face is covered with a polyester geotex-tile.The product is also available with polyester film +glass fibre reinforcement giving excellent resis-tance to perforation (mechanical anti-root).

Use: cold applied on foundations, vertical walls,underground structures, etc. where high protec-tion and draining characteristics are required.

SCUDOTENE V POLYNET

This product is reinforced with glass fibre and issurfaced with a special high resistance polypropy-lene net.

Use: cold applied in any roofing system where avery high resistance to perforation and/or punc-ture is required, e.g. on flat roofs protected withgravel ballasting or concrete pavings, as a mechani-cal anti-root layer in roof gardens, on foundationsand vertical walls.

SCUDOTENE is a complete range of SBS (styrene butadiene styrene) polymer bitumen modified membranes.The compound is formulated with specialtackifying resins, to achieve high adhesive properties.They can be installed without torching in all the cases where traditional torch applied products are not advisable, such as on non-fire resistant foam insula-tion materials, in presence of inflammable materials (metal cisterns or tanks, underground pipes), on wooden decks, etc. Using SCUDOTENE products it isalso possible to build up full cold applied self-adhesive waterproofing systems.The Mineral versions are used mainly as a cap sheet, also for single layer roofrenewal.
