OVERVIEWSince 1984, CREW Greater Philadelphia has connected commercial real estate professionals in the Philadelphia area, working together to create a supportive and dynamic environment that promotes advancement through knowledge-sharing and networking. CREW Greater Philadelphia is one of the founding chapters of CREW Network, a business organization with membership of over 12,000, globally. Together, both CREW Network and CREW Greater Philadelphia have been connecting commercial real estate professionals - people of any gender - around a central pillar of advancing the success of women in commercial real estate.

EXCITING INITIATIVESFOR 2022As we look to 2022, there are exciting initiatives ahead. In order to ensure the continued success of our chapter, we have undertaken the task of formulating the next strategic plan to carry us through 2023-2028.

In 2021, we formed our DEI Advocacy Group tofurther the diversity and inclusion in our Chapter and to promote action on a local level. Under the About tab on our Website, you can find a resources page to bring relevant content back to our membership. 2022 will see us continuing this course of action, to provide important conversations at events throughout the year.

DEI ADVOCACY GROUP

Our first Members Only leadership cohort is launching in 2022. Formulated with individuals of all experience levels in mind, the program focuses on providing both professional and personal growth through the creation of a personal leadership growth plan, as well as expansion of their networks and connections to further their career goals. Leadership, self-awareness, communication, and team building are a few of the skills that our members will focus on throughout the year.

Through the recently launched #Greater Communications Plan, we will continue to raise awareness and illustrate the diversity of members from both professional and personal standpoints. CREW Greater Philadelphia is an organization for individuals in all disciplines of commercial real estate, located in and around Philadelphia, at all career levels, and from all backgrounds and personal experiences. COMMUNICATIONS We build awareness and recognition of the mission of CREW Greater Philadelphia by coordinating the delivery of timely and exciting updates about its members, sponsors, events, and philanthropic efforts on a regular and consistent basis. This starts with having conversations with members across our Chapter, and then sharing the information via eblasts, social media and on our website, within the framework of our brand identity. There are five standing Committees in our Chapter and every member is encouraged to join and participate in order to maximize your membership. While each Committee has a specific focus, they all create professional and personal growth opportunities, including learning new skills, expanding existing capabilities, and deepening relationships with other members.

CORPORATE ENGAGEMENT The Corporate Engagement Committee is responsible for attracting, retaining, and recognizing sponsors to support and sustain the ongoing initiatives of our Chapter. This includes educating companies and individuals on the benefits of CREW Greater Philadelphia while maintaining relationships with renewing sponsors. MORE WAYS TO PARTICIPATE Beyond committee engagement there are other ways to be involved and make the most of your membership.In doing so you will support the Chapter and meet a host of accomplished individuals who are looking for ways toconnect and do business together. Volunteers are always welcome to spearhead the various tasks associated with these events and projects.

Sponsorship & Corporate Engagement Consider aligning your company’s brand with CREW Greater Philadelphia’s mission by investing in futuresuccesses with a sponsorship and/or personal pledge. New sponsorship packages are offered in 2022,providing sponsors a variety of ways to expand thevisibility of their company. Highlights of these new pack-ages include the ability for minority, women, LGBTQ,and/or veteran owned companies to have a special insignia aligned with their name/logo listed on Chapter materials and electronic media. Additionally, firms have the opportunity to contribute to our scholarship program. Naming rights for a donating company are also available. Recruit New Members Help grow CREW Greater Philadelphia bysuggesting membership for those who would be assets to the organization. Invite prospective members to our Chapter events in order to meet the requirement of attending two events and/or meetings within the 12 months prior to applying.

Scholarship Program As part of our mission, the Outreach Committee serves the Philadelphia area by fostering the development and mentoring of young women toward careers in the commercial real estate industry. This goal is accomplished through our annual academic Scholarship Program which provides individual $5,000 scholarships to female undergraduate and graduate students who are pursuing careers in commercial real estate. If your alma mater is in the Greater Philadelphia area, we encourage you to help establish a conduit in sharing the scholarship program with the school to drive participation.

The role of the Outreach Committee is to organize and promote the charitable and philanthropic activities of CREW Greater Philadelphia, including overseeing the selection of the philanthropic partner and scholarship recipients. We are focused on three major areas: philanthropy, scholarship, and mentoring. To join or learn more please contact the Co-Chairs.

The Membership Committee focuses on growing our membership by identifying prospective members through networking and professional development opportunities and inviting non-members to attend events and learn more about our Chapter. Other recruitment activities include follow up with non-members after events, providing assistance with the application process and personally welcoming and guiding new members to help them become integrated and engaged. Our Chapter’s events calendar is designed to provide commercial real estate-based knowledge and information to members, as well as assist members in building their networks. The Events Committee is a dynamic group responsible for organizing these programs, integrating current topics into our programming, selecting and interacting with speakers, and deciding on locations for meetings. Philanthropic Partner Our community giving is centered aroundempowering and improving the lives of women and/or girls who may be interested in careers in commercial real estate. Through the activities of the Outreach Committee a $20,000 grant was awarded to our 2021 Philanthropic Partner, The Fund for The School District of Philadelphia, to support the architecture and design program at West Philadelphia High School.

Annual Fall LuncheonWe are looking forward to again hosting our AnnualFall Luncheon and Silent Auction this year. Known as one of Philadelphia’s premier networking events and a kick off to the holiday season, this event regularly attracts more than 600 real estate professionals each year. As a chapter, we are committed to our philanthropic efforts for scholarships, grants, and research. Our Annual Fall Luncheon helps us to fund these efforts while advancing our mission.

Share Your Knowledge, Share Your ProjectHave a particular area of expertise or best practices to share? A project to promote? Offer your knowledge and insights for a Chapter event by participating in ormoderating a panel discussion, hosting an event at your space, or offering a construction tour of one of yourprojects. We are always seeking members to be part of our many educational programs throughout the year.

Nominate Achievements for Chapter AwardsEvery year we celebrate the standout achievementsand leadership of our Chapter members through our Impact Awards program. These awards recognizeindividuals impacting our mission working together, advancing in their career, and contributing toward our Chapter’s success. All members are encouraged tonominate others as well as themselves throughout the year until November 2022 for these specialacknowledgments here.
