• Detected on Spider Lake

• Lighthouse Cove

• Balsam Circle area

• Attending workshop on 7/17

Phragmites• Invasive species

• Can grow up to 20' tall

• Forms a monoculture

• Chokes out native plant life

• Spreads rapidly

• Provides no value for our wildlife

• Tourism, land values and biodiversity is threatened
