Liquid Assets, a ninety-minute documentary, tellsthe story of essential infrastructure systems:water, wastewater, and stormwater. Thesesystems some in the ground for more

than 100 years provide a critical public healthfunction and are essential for economicdevelopment and growth.

Largely out of sight and out of mind, these agingsystems have not been maintained, and someestimates suggest this is the single largest publicworks endeavor in our nations history.

The free community outreach event includes aninformational reception sponsored by local

professional and community groups, the LiquidAssets documentary, and a brief presentation onthe state of Virginias water, wastewater, andstormwater infrastructure.
