1st National Conference on Emerging Trends and
Challenges in Social Sciences

The 1st National Conference on “Emerging Trends and Challenges in Social Sciences”
(ETCSS, 2016) is an important forum for the presentation of technological advances and
research results in the fields of social science. The conference is soliciting state-of-the-art
research papers in the following areas of interest. The conference is to bring together
innovative academics and industrial experts in the field of Sociology, Gender Studies,
Development Studies, Business and Marketing Management and other social sciences
disciplines to a common forum. The National Conference on “Emerging Trends and
Challenges in Social Sciences” (ETCSS, 2016) is aimed to provide a forum for
researchers, practitioners and professionals from the academia, industry and government
to discourse on research and development, professional practice in the social sciences.
The conference will be held at Department of Sociology, Bahauddin Zakariya University
Multan on 15-16 November, 2016. The event is a leading national event for presenting
novel and fundamental advances in the fields of social science. The articles will be peer
reviewed and will be evaluated based on originality, technical and or research
content/depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability.
Submissions will be chosen based on technical merit, interest, applicability, and how well
they fit a coherent and balanced technical program. The author should report original
unpublished research results, experimental or theoretical. Articles submitted to the
conference should meet these criteria and must not be under consideration for publication
elsewhere and must have not presented somewhere else in a conference. Manuscripts
should follow the APA style and will be subject to both review and editing. All the
selected papers will be published in a conference proceeding and will be distributed at
conference.

The 1st National Level Conference on “Emerging Challenges and Trends in Social
Sciences” (ETCSS, 2016) provide a platform to academia and researchers to present their
research findings, experiences, policies and case studies in different fields. The objective
of this conference is to promote research and provide opportunities to experts of various
relevant areas to share their research findings. The conference will provide:
o A platform for bringing together experts from industry/academia/R&D and other
user community to discuss and share their expertise about socioeconomic issues, and
their analyses of its various aspects.
o To achieve robust collaboration among different universities/colleges for the
students
o To promote and provide opportunities experts of various relevant areas to share
their research findings and experiences as well interact with major solution providers,
managers and students.

not exceeding more than 250 words only in English Language.
Paper Publication
Upon assessment of reviewers, top rated papers will be published in Higher Education
Commission (HEC) of Pakistan's recognized (Y category research journal);
“Pakistan Journal of Social Sciences (PJSS)” Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan
Venue
The conference will be conducted at the Jinnah Auditorium, Bahauddin Zakariya
University Multan.

Registration Fee: Rs.2000/-
