Job Search SuperKit—but all you have to do is follow the steps that are laid out for you below.

Each step builds on the one before and gets you farther down the road to your job offer.

It is important that you follow the steps in order! They are proven to work.

We know that you will be tempted to skip a few to get to “the good stuff,” but we’re telling you

now—you will not have the success you dream of if you attempt to skip any step.

There are no shortcuts.

STEP ONE: CREATE YOUR RESUME

A great resume is the foundation of every successful job search. It acts as a marketingdocument that sells you as a candidate and generates interviews.

STEP TWO: SET UP YOUR LINKEDIN PROFILE AND FACEBOOK PROFILE

Social media is a vital part of today’s job search. You can make it work for you by following ourrecommendations for a great profile on LinkedIn and Facebook.

A brag book provides the evidence that backs up your resume. It is very impressive ininterviews, and it will give you a self-esteem boost to start your search when you see youraccomplishments in black and white.

STEP FOUR: FIND AND CONTACT HIRING MANAGERS

Once you’re ready for them with your resume and social media profiles, you may begincontacting the hiring managers within your industry.

STEP FIVE: PREPARE FOR TELEPHONE INTERVIEWS

Phone interviews are the most common first step in the interview process. They are thegateway to the face-to-face interview, so it’s very important to be prepared.

The face-to-face interview is where you will have your best chance to shine. There are a lot ofsteps here, but they are all worth it.
