Deleting Holdings - When You No Longer Own an Item

• Accurately reflect your holdings to other libraries in WorldCat Navigator, and to users in FirstSearch, WorldCat.org and WorldCat Local

• ILL staff will not get requests for items you no longer own

• Accurately identify gaps in your collection as well as your unique holdings using Collection Analysis

• Your 3 or 5 character OCLC symbol added to a bibliographic master record to indicate that you own or have access to the item

• Local Holdings• Item specific holdings, for example:
