A Note To You:
I went to Boone's Creek Baptist Church July 12, 2010 and
listened to George Chinn, of the KBC Partnership Missions
Department, explain how the volunteers will have ministry andevangelistic opportunities during the World Equestrian Games at
the Horse Park. They expect over 300,000 visitors from 100countries to come to the games. AIM will coordinate the manyways of ministering to these people. The games are daytime
games only.
The dates of the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games are
September 25 - October 10, 2010.
Christians can't have an organized witness at the Horse Park, soAIM is focusing on the ministry/evangelistic opportunities that
can be found at the various surrounding cities' festivals and
celebrations. Some are being held each night of the Games andothers are only on a weekend or even one night. The ministry/evangelistic opportunities could be in the places they are staying,
places they will eat in and shop in. Places in Lexington, Rich-
mond, Winchester, Mt. Sterling, Georgetown, Versailles, Paris, etc.
People can volunteer to work with AIM from 1 day to 15 days,
whatever a person can do. They will need to register to volunteerat the AIM Website: www.aimky.org. This can be done right up
until the Games begin. They, also, are requesting volunteers to
provide housing for AIM volunteers and entertainers, one or twoat a house. They will pay for the housing. Our camp will be
housing up to 125 volunteers during the Games.
George Chinn said he is willing to talk at any church that wantsto know more about how this will work. You can call him: cell
phone 270-256-1451 or e-mail:gcchinn70@att.net.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to witness to the world
about our Savior, don't miss it. Please place the AIM Ministry on
your prayer list.
Yours in Christ,
