Ephesians 2:20-22, “You have been built on the foundation made up of the shlichim and

prophets, with Messiah Yeshua Himself being the cornerstone. In Him

the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple for the Lord. In Him, you also are being built together into God’s dwelling place in the Spirit.”

1 Peter 2:5, “You also,

as living stones, are being built up

as a spiritual house—a holy priesthood

to offer up spiritual sacrifices

acceptable to God through

Messiah Yeshua.”Tree of Life BibleMichael Washer

Pillar Five: The Kingdom is Expressed in a Life of Character

Matthew 28:18-20, “Yeshua came up to them

and spoke to them, saying, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations,

immersing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Ruach ha-Kodesh,

teaching them to observe all I have commanded you.

And remember! I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Romans 8:13, “For if you live according to the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you put to death

the deeds of the body, you shall live.”

Romans 8:5-6, “For those who live according to the flesh set their minds

on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit.

For the mindset of the flesh is death, but the mindset of the Spirit is life and shalom.”

Jeremiah 31:32, “I put my Torah within them and write it on their hearts.”

Matthew 5:17-18, “Do not think that I came to abolish the Torah or the Prophets! I did not come to abolish, but to fill full. Amen, I tell you,

until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or serif shall ever pass away

from the Torah until all things come to pass.”

Romans 6:14-15, “For sin shall not be master over you,

for you are not under law but under grace. What then? Shall we sin because we are

not under law but under grace? May it never be!

Romans 8:4, “So the requirement of the Torah might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk

according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.”

Matthew 5:8, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.”

Matthew 5:37, “But let your word ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No’—anything more

than this is from the evil one.””

Matthew 6:1-2, “Beware of practicing your righteousness before others to be seen

by them; otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven. So whenever you

do tzedakah, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do

in the synagogues and on the streets, so that they may be glorified by men.

Amen, I tell you, they have their reward in full!

Matthew 6:19, “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy

and where thieves break in and steal.”

And you shall love the Lord your Godwith all of your heart.

Pillar Seven: The Kingdom is Expressed in a Quest for Unity

John 17:21, “That they may be

one as you Father and I are one,

that the world might believe that You have sent me.”

Psalm 133

Five-Fold Ministries

Ephesians 4:11-13, He Himself gave some to be shlichim, some as prophets,

some as proclaimers of the Good News, and some as shepherds and teachers—

to equip the kedoshim for the work of service, for building up the body of Messiah. This will

continue until we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of Ben-Elohim

—to mature adulthood, to the measure of the stature of Messiah’s fullness.

Colossians 2:15, “After disarming the principalities and powers,

Messiah made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in the cross.”
