Cite “Cite an important passage from the text” (author’s last name and page number).
Summarize Review the main ideas of the cited passage and how it advances the plot or essay
Connect Make connection with the cited passage (personal, societal, or universal)
Explain Give reasons why you made the connection with what was summarized
Citations must be two sentences or more in length!.
