Insert the removal tools into the slots on each side of the radio.
Unclip, pull and remove the radio taking care to unplug
the connector and the antenna.
Using the plastic trim tools, unclip the storage compartment.
Remove it in the same way as you did the radio.

display surround.
Remove screws 1 and 2.

Using the plastic trim tools, unclip the front without removing it.
Using the plastic trim tools, unclip the clip located on the left side of
the dashboard.
Release the fuse box cover. Remove the door seal on the driver’s side.

Microphone passage
Stick the bracket supplied after cleaning the surface to the
windscreen. Run the cable under the headliner towards the driver
side door.
Run the cable replacing the seal on the passenger door.
Pass the cable into the dashboard on the left side and
into the fuse box.
Run the cable towards the radio, attaching it under the dashboard
with wire ties.

Feeding the accessory cable
In the glove box unclip the RCA connection support and
disconnect it.
Using a knife or drill, make a notch on the back of the support.

Pass the cable from the hole towards the radio.
Reconnect and re-fit the cover leaving a sufficient length of
cable.

Power supply
Cut the red wire in front of the fuse for adaptor 84744 or for the
kit bundle supplied for the CK connect a wire to it.
Run the wire from the radio housing towards the steering
column.
Run it under the steering wheel using a guide.
Fit a 2.5mm terminal and connect the wire to the yellow
fuse holder. (Check that the +12V is permanent.)

This procedure for wiring the permanent +12V only applies to cars with the 6 CD changer.

Fitting the hands-free system 1 / 2
Connect the adaptor 86165 for the CK or the 84744/9706AT for the Mki to the original
connector. Connect all of the wires to the blue box as shown in the diagram below. Test the
assembly before reassembly then slide all the cables behind the glove box and attach them
with wire ties.

Stick the support supplied to the display panel after having cleaned
the surface.
Run the cable between the panel and the dashboard towards the
radio.
Replace screws 1 and 2.

Clip the display panel and its surround back on. (Make sure that
you DO NOT cut the cable.)

Pull the cable through from the bottom of the air vents and stick the bracket to the surface. (After cleaning it.)

Testing
Before refitting the system, switch the kit on using the ignition (or by starting the car). By pushing the central knob
of the remote control, check:
1 - That the menu is displayed on the screen. (Language or iPod.) 2 - That the system can be muted. (Click on the blue box.) 3 - That there is no sound coming from the speakers. 4 - That the sound from the voice menu is coming out of the front speakers. 5 - Then turn off the ignition, check that the kit switches off and that the "goodbye" message appears on the screen. (If this fails, reverse the fuses on the kit's wiring harness.) 6 - Pair a telephone with the kit to make a call. (Check that both the microphone and the kit are working.)

Reassembly
Refit the system using the following procedure: 1 – Re-install the radio reconnecting the adapter and antenna. 2 - Replace the storage compartment. 3 – Re-fit the fusebox cover by pushing hard. 4 – Re-fit the panel on the left-hand side of the dashboard.
