Using the plastic trim tools, unclip the radio surround.

Insert the removal tools and extract the radio, then disconnect

it.

Using the plastic trim tools, unclip the gear lever cover.

Unscrew screws 1 and 2 then unclip the cover without

disconnecting it.

Unscrew screws 3 and 4 located above the radio cover.

Using the plastic trim tools, unclip the left plastic trim panel

clip.

Using the plastic trim tools, unclip the right plastic trim panel

clip...

...then the cover located under the steering wheel...

..then unclip the cover located on the dashboard to the left of

the speedo...

...and unclip the dashboard cover on the driver's side.

Remove the seal on the driver’s side.

Then pass the cable under the head liner along the windscreen.

Microphone passage

Glue the bracket (supplied) to the rear-view mirror cover, after having thoroughly degreased the surface.

Run the cable replacing the seal on the driver's door.

Pass the cable into the dashboard from the left.

To finish, run and attach the cable with the cable clips under

the dashboard.

Feeding the accessory cable

Insert the cable in the hole. Unclip the cover located at the bottom left of the glove box.

Then, using a guide, pass the cable behind the ventilation unit. Attach the cable under the

steering wheel.

Fit the cover (supplied) and bring out a sufficient length of cable.

Connect the adapter to the original connector for the 86795 /7711428303 reverse the red and orange fuses on the kit connector then put the cables together in a bundle, store the junction

behind the box support and pass the kit connector towards the steering wheel.

Pass the cable by the top of the dashboard behind the rev.

Then bring it out under the steering wheel.

Then glue the mounting on the left dashboard cover after

carefully decreasing the surface, and clip the cover back in place

(TAKE CARE not to cut the screen cable).

Testing

Before refitting the system, switch the kit on using the ignition (or by starting the car). By pushing the central knob of the remote control, check:

1 - that the menu is displayed on the screen (language or iPod etc.) 2 - that the radio system is muted when the kit is in use (click in the blue box) 3 - that the sound through all speakers is properly muted 4 - that there is sound through the front speakers for spoken menus 5 - then turn off the ignition, verify that the kit turns off and that the message “goodbye” is displayed on the screen (otherwise reverse the fuses on the kit power supply harness) 6 - pair a telephone with the kit and make a call (check that both the microphone and the kit are working)

Reassembly

Refit the system using the following procedure:

1 - refit the central console of the radio housing

2 - clip the right and left clips back, pressing them fully home

3 - screw screws 3 and 4 located on the top

4 - clip the lower gear lever cover back and replace screws 1 and 2

5 - refit the gear lever bellows

6 - reconnect the radio, slide it into its housing and clip back its surround

7 - clip back the cover under the steering wheel

8 - clip back the cover on the left of the dashboard
