You spoke; we listened And we’ve made some changes that we want to share with you

Update uniforms and include name badges. We’ve just introduced new corporate uniforms to our staff. Our lifeguard uniforms will commence in September.

2Use email or SMS to alert patrons when a class is cancelled or school carnivals are on. We’ve started alerting gym class participants if a class has been cancelled. We’ll strive to alert members on other aspects of our service.

3 Promote more of the children’s and adult’s activities. We’ve started promoting our summer season activities. More info can be found on Facebook www.facebook.com/mbacandhfr and on our website www.tr.qld.gov.au/pools

4Get TV screens that show group fitness timetable and events in the gym. We’ve bought new screens and advertising will start in September.

5 List your hydrotherapy pool details including forms on the website. They’re up! Check out www.tr.qld.gov.au/pools

6Let all staff know about all aspects of the facility to help with enquiries. We’ve increased staff training and information sharing.

7 Schedule more classes for younger members, family fitness classes, seminars, movie nights and family fun days. Take a look at the school holiday programs to kick start with the kid’s active program. A summer program is also on its way! 8Bring back afternoon Group Power classes and schedule different after work fitness classes. We’re trialling new evening classes for the summer timetable including Group Power, Pilates Barre, and Zumba.

9 Replace older equipment. We’ve purchased a number of new machines including the SDrive, Air Dynne Bike and 90° Leg Press.

10Run more local charity events like the biggest morning tea. Great idea! We’re in the planning stages already. Stay tuned!

11 More consistent aquatic rules. We’re making this happen with more training around policies and customer service.

12 Give Waves Swim School greater consistency in instructors and more personalised service. We love our Waves Swim School, so we’ve increased staff training to deliver this.

13 Sell healthier options at the café. Our cafés are trialling new menus, so come and try their new selections.

14 More members competitions and prizes. Great idea! Visit the gyms and enter into the Olympics, monthly competitions and yes there are prizes.

• The intensity of programs has increased and the layout of gym equipment

• More variety with exercise programs and more advertising through emails which is great

• Outdoor pool is open for longer period which is really nice

• Keep throwing in some extra fun classes, these are great!

• Free swim with swimming lesson

• Impressed with café pricing, could get a big bottle of water and food. Makes for a family friendly place.
