The $100 drawing winners were: Kim Crader, Sue Minie, Jim Vineyard (who so graciously donated these winnings back to the Social Committee, Thanks Jim!!), Neecie Robbins, Don Woebling, Robbie Tarro, Rachel Hauenstien, Jim Vineyard (for a sec-ond time) Adam Baumgartner, Russ Holloway, Page Huddleston, Al Morgan, Bob Love, Web Morrow, and Makena Bachman. There were two $500 drawings and the winners were Mike Eberhardt and Barry Ahlmeier. Congrats to all the winners and remember, the more tick-ets you buy next year the more likely you are to be on this list!!!

Social Committee Events: Shrimp Boil a Success!! As the year progresses, and the flood waters went down, the Social Committee was able to begin having events. On Saturday the 21st we had another fun filled day at the Annual Shrimp Boil. It is likely there was a bribe somewhere to mother nature as the weather could-n’t have been any better. There is a lot of hard work that goes into these events and many thanks are in order to our cooks, Jerry Couch, John Love, and Dave Mooney as well as all those who also helped support the event. There are some fabulous photos on the next page thanks to Tina Longo.
Hog Roast October 5th!! Get ready for another fun day at the river. On October 5th will be the 2nd Annual Hog Roast. It will begin at 3pm down on D Dock and ac-companying parking lots. This will also be tailgate style. The meal is 15$ a person and will consist of pork, chicken and all the fixings. Bring some drinks and a lot of friends, or a lot of drinks and some friends and spend the day with your river family. For any questions you can contact Doug Woods.
Please see flyer insert for info on the Commodores Dinner October 26th!!!
For all those interested, Doug Woods will be hosting a CPR class as well as learn-ing how to use the new AED machines. Stay tuned for a date or you can talk to Doug directly.

Commodore's Report: I'd like to invite you all to the Commodore's Dinner on October 26th. The Social Committee has done a bang up job of preparing for the event, and I would like to thank them all, in particular Mike Tremmel, for all their work. Come to share good music (Charles Hilliard is back!), good food (Mark's finest), and a grand evening overall. RSVP slips and further de-tails are available in this Duck Tales. Club maintenance continues with Mike Eberhardt having the older electri-cal wiring in the docks replaced this past month. He has also been working on refurbishing the light house, repairing the door, and freshen-ing the paint - thanks to Mike Meyers for helping select the paint. I hope you all enjoy a beautiful October! Kathy Laramie Commodore 2013
Restaurant Report September 14th was a busy day at the club. There was a spectacular wedding poolside and a great turnout in the restaurant. I wanted to pass on that I was approached by numerous owners who wanted to let me know that even though the house was packed there was very little delay in receiving their dinner orders and their food was outstanding as usual. I wanted to express my thanks to Mark and his staff on the outstanding job they did to accom-modate everyone there. Thanks Russ Laramie
