SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA

OUR AMAZING COMENIUS JOURNEY!

April 2012

LANDING IN SANTIAGOAfter the bumpy

landing, we saw quite a charming airport with an interesting celling. It made great impresion on us, but it was only the beginning…

OUR HOSTEL AT MONTE DE GOZO

Awesome!! Absolutely enormous !!So many rooms.!!They are designed for the pilgrims who come to pray in the ancient Camino de Satiago, St James’s cathedral.

Cerceda and our hosting school – CPI O Cruce

Working together

Everything was brilliant

Except the weather!!!!!!

WE HAD SOME TRIPS TO SANTIAGO

The Galician Parliament, The SuperComputerAnd the Cathedral

SANTIAGO de Compestela

We had some octopus, seashells, prawns and St James’s shells and tortilla for dinner!!! Of course paella too!

Umbrellas and umbrellas, and waterproof clothes didn’t stop us from walking the streets and souvenir shops in Santiago. Of course we bought some beautiful St James’s shells!

We were freezing to death in our thick clothes But LOOK at our English friends!!!

The SHORE OF

A CORUNABreath-taking views, rough sea and no rain!!

When we were visiting A Coruna it stopped raining for the first and last time during our visit!!

AND THE CITY OF A CORUNA

The city is famous for its promenade that skirts the entire city, the longest in Europe, measuring 10 kilometres in length. There is also a tram and a bike path that runs through most of the journey. Also, there is a cultural tour, passing several museums such as The House of Man and La Casa de los Peces (Aquarium Finisterrae) and it also visits the Castle of San Antón, which contains the archaeological museum, or the Tower of Hercules. This Roman tower is a lighthouse that has been in continuous operation for nearly 2,000 years. It has been declared by the UNESCO as Human Heritage.

Our friend is trying to help the Spanish basker

And a glimpse of Madrid before our plane took off

A few hours of sunshinein Madrid

But when were leaving…….

COMING HOME

It was a fantastic journey and amazing adventure, I’ve met lot of different people

and cultures. It’s a kind of unique experience because such trips help see

people in a different, better way and give an opportunity to make new friends.
