I chose Melina Matsoukas because she has done a lot of work with both Rihanna and Beyoncé. Also her videos are very loud and bright; through her use of colour and camera work.

WHY I CHOSE MELINA MATSOUKAS

One element Matsoukas has used in some of the music videos she has directed-is black and white colour. Usually the black and white eff ect is smooth and calming, however, this is juxtaposed against the songs which this eff ect it layered upon.
