Methylene blue was reduced

to Leucomethylene blue.

The Methylene blue solution is

blue coloured but theLeucomethylene solution has

no color.

Methylene blue was reduced

by acquiring hydrogen atomswhich were removed from

glucose molecules during the

respiratory chain.
