Challenges for MY OWN BAG

• Coordination between Germany and China– Need to share issues– Need to share information about events, public holidays– Need to share reports (some confidential)– Need to share all kinds of other documents– Want to exchange information on vendors, suppliers, ...

• Documents are sent via email, often resulting in old document versions being used

• 2 employees in Germany travel 75% of the time– Not always up to date on product information, promotions, and other things– Unsure if they have latest versions of documents

• Documents on file share are quite unorganised– Where can I find a file?– Do I organise order documents by year, by ordered model, by design?

MY OWN BAG & Office 365

MY OWN BAG started to use Office 365 for email (Exchange) and communications (Lync), but got interested in SharePoint Online now.

As they don’t have a dedicated IT staff, the Business Development Manager Tim starts to look at SharePoint Online to see how it can help them

What has improved for MY OWN BAG:• Better information quality due to “single source of

truth documents”– Ultimately results in higher customer satisfaction, higher

sales

• Higher awareness in both locations about events, issues, happenings, …– faster development of new designs & bags, less defects,
