Jerk - Definition

A stupid person who does not cares about the effect of his actions.

Jerk – Main Features

Lack of respect.

Offensive approach.

He is arrogant and believes he is always right.

Lack of common sense.

Why do we have jerks at work?

HR won’t let me fire the jerk.

He is much better at confrontation than I am.

He has specialized skills.

He owns our most important customers.

He has friends in high places.

Jerk – Main Outcomes

He creates a feeling of insatisfaction inside the company.

Stress and fierce competition.

Demotivation and poor team-working.

Make people unhappy at work and thereby cause stress and increase absenteeism

Reduce the motivation of those around them.

Jerk – Main Outcomes

Create more jerks - because jerkism can be contagious.

Inhibit teamwork and team spirit.

Harm productivity for all of the above reasons.

Rate your employees.

Give a chance of changes for our employees.

Analyze the performance and behavior of your team.

Have nice conversations among the group.
